Video: Ink Storage Update + Discount Code + BIG Giveaway

Hello! A few months ago, I shared a look at my ink storage systems. I have since replaced only one of the pieces (since an even better option is now available!) and wanted to show you. I also have a discount code and giveaway from OrganizeMore – my favorite shop for ink storage units.

One thing that is important to me in my crafting world is being organized. Yes, it does take time to get everything just right, but I firmly believe it pays off big time in the end… since I craft so much faster when everything is organized. Since filming my last video on my ink storage organization (which you can see HERE), I have updated one of my pieces.

Most of my favorite inks are now in a large storage piece from OrganizeMore. This piece holds 60 ink pads and can be hung on the wall or stand on a shelf. The cubbies are 3.25″ wide and 1″ tall… perfect for the inks I use, such as Hero Arts Shadow Inks, Versamark, etc. (Click HERE to watch a video on my favorite inks, and HERE for a video comparing the types of inks out there.) I show the 60 ink pad unit in my video, but they also have a 48 ink pad unit available with this cubby size. (The video I shared in the past showed a piece from OrganizeMore had a wider cubby size and therefore a lot of wasted space for the inks I use. However, this unit is still available and holds wider pads such as those from Stampin’ Up.) For exact dimensions, please check their website.

DISCOUNT CODE

OrganizeMore is offering 10% off for my readers with the discount code “mcguire14” from now until 6/20/14. (Please know that I am not affiliated with this company. I just purchased pieces from them… liked what I got… contacted them with praise… and they offered the code and giveaway! Good people.)

I’ve been on at my boyfriend to help me make some storage, I could do it myself but he has all the equipment and ability to build things without mysterious gaps or extras that aren’t in the plans. But everything has to be portable since I’m at uni most of the time and I do not have a craft room. I don’t even have a craft corner but I keep watching these videos and planning. One day I’ll have the most organised craft space ever at this rate…

Jennifer, I don’t know where you got such talent from but I am so in awe of your ingenuity! Your site amazes me everytime I see a new post and I can’t wait to try them! I lost my entire craft room in a fire that started in our dryer and quickly consumed the laundry room, basement and through the floor into my craft room. Unfortunately I lost everything in my craft room due to it and it USED to be a crafter’s paradise! I started crafting in the 1975 when I found out that I was pregnant with my first child and haven’t stopped yet. In fact now that I am disabled since Sept. 1990 it has become my therapy to keep from the depression that enveloped me so severely that I was suicidal for a few years. Now it is my salvation to sanity! I had everything that ever came out on the market, no matter what the price. Everyone used to tell me my craft room was more like a store than most stores they had seen! lol! So to win anything that will help me rebuild my paradise would be a Godsend!
