SSS Card Kit Blog Hop – Video (Swipe Stamping) + Giveaway

[This is my second post of the day. Please also scroll down or go HERE for my Case Study Challenge video and giveaway. Thank you!]

Hello. Today I am part of the Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit Blog Hop… and I have a video and giveaway for you!

In my video, I show how to do a fun technique I call “swipe stamping.” Terrible name, but fun results…

I love the look of the swiped ink – so fun and different. And this adorable new SSS stamp set is perfect for it. Those flowers are such fun! (And they would be great for “building” a flower scene.)

Note: In the video I used the Eclips Masking Paper. However, this is not available due to problems with the supplier. A great substitute is the Inkadinkado Masking Paper.

It is also fun to create those doodle-like dots with a stylus and ink. Easy peasy.

Oh, and a big thanks to the celebrity stamper who gave me this idea. (Any guesses who it was?)

So this stamp set and stencil are available individually, or as a part of the September Card Kit. This kit is fab (I will be sharing another card from it soon) and has a lot to offer. If you sign up for a subscription, you save lots on each month – great deal!

Be sure to next head over to the blog of my bestie Shari Carroll. She is fabulous! (You can also start at the beginning at the SSS blog.)
