Darling cards! Am sorting through the 1800 photos I took on our recent trip to Switzerland and a cruise down the Rhine River. Thank goodness for digital cameras since I can take whatever amount of pictures. Those photos brought back so many awesome memories of the people we met, the sights we saw and the great food we consumed. Ahhhh!

    1 (15-ounce) can LIBBY’SĀ® 100% Pure Pumpkin
    1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Beat pudding mix and evaporated milk according to package directions in large bowl; refrigerate for 5 minutes. Add pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice; mix well. Spoon into dessert dishes. Refrigerate for 10 minutes or until ready to serve. Top with whipped cream.

My husband made the BEST Mediterranean salad tonight! It has orzo, olives (green & black), red pepper, onion, and olive oil and some other stuff mixed and cooled, then it’s served on spring greens (the baby lettuces) and you add avocado, tomatos and greek feta cheese on the top (I put sunflower seeds on too). It’s soooo good!

  31. Jean Fitch says:

    Something Happy..hmmmmmmm….

Started watching Due South DvD’s again they always make me happy. Now that I chat regularly with several Canadian demo’s I get the jokes so much better….And boy does that lovely actor Paul Gross give a girl happy thoughts…

My cat has a friend who is a skunk (literally). On full moon nights they sit side by side and stare at the moon tapping their tails in time. The happy thing there is that the skunk extends professional courtesy and never sprays me, my cats or my truck just stray dogs and bears who don’t belong on my property and that makes me happy. I’m not sure what that says about me or my cat Sandy – Where Sandy is concerned she is already a tempermental character who knows how to call long distance, turn lights, deadbolts and TV’s off and on….makes life both crazy and funny as all get out.

Do you remember Wiley Coyote and the Road Runner. RR runs straight up a wall and makes it. The coyote starts up but then looks down and falls. Well Sandy renacts the Wiley part on a regular basis. Something startles her and she runs straight up the wall until there is no more wall to run up looks down and drops to the floor. Trust me she never hurts herself and gets very mad at the laughter. Fast forward to the new house that has a cut out area between ceiling and inner walls around the living room. Now when she runs up the wall she makes it! She’s learned to run straight up and hang on then pull herself up into the cut out area. Now she’s the one laughing at all the faces below her! This is why my house will never have those lovely decor elements on the walls!

One last thing….You can go home again…recapturing tastes of childhood comfort anyway. My box from the foodbank this week included a loaf (? log?) of American Cheese. Not something I would generally choose but I made a lovely discovery. I wasn’t sure what to do with it but I had some slightly stale bread in the back of the frig and decided to try my hand at grilled cheese sandwiches like my Mom used to make. Guess what… that first bite made me feel warm and happy and remembering fun lunches with my Mom around the kitchen table – our laughter and warmth spreading while the snow piled up outside. And now I know what she did with “her” slightly stale bread. Lovely to visit with “home” again.

Be happy Jenn and thanks for adding to mine with your wonderful designs, tips and chat.

And on the 8th day God filled the world with Stampers and saw that it was good….then just like a man he wandered off, left the kids in charge of the place while we women continued stamping – want to guess what the planet looked like after that?! ( I always thought it was weird Eve got all the blame for Eden, obviously she had cards on the mind when the snake showed up )- LoL. – Jean
