Worth Checking Out

Hello! OK. I am going to be straight here. I am struggling right now to balance everything. The kiddos are home… Lila has a fever… Colin made the select baseball team… Audrey is looking at colleges… Kay is coming home for a visit. And honestly – these are my first priority and love. (All are good things, minus the fever!) However, I have several videos shot and I will post them as soon as I get a chance to edit. I hope you understand and know that I will be sharing as soon as I can. 🙂 xo

In the meantime, I have discovered some great things over on Instagram that I wanted to share here. I don’t visit crafty blogs but do follow a lot of crafty folks on Instagram. Here are some things that caught my eye:

(1.) Color Layering Swatches – Ruby had a brilliant idea that I just had to share! She used my ink swatch book idea to keep track of ink colors that work well for color layering. So helpful!

(2.) Heart In the Hustle Cards – If you are a fellow Believer, you may find these interesting. I plan to buy a set and include one inside handmade cards that I send out.

(3.) 25% Off Ranger Products – Get 25% off all Ranger products through 8/4/15. Use code RASALE when shopping HERE. Now is a great time to get Distress Inks, Craft Sheets and Ink Blending Tools.

(4.) No-Line Coloring – Wow. Wow. WOW. Those are the words that come to mind when I see Alice Wertz do no-line coloring. She is the master. I have not (nor plan to) tried this technique as I think I would struggle with it. But she rocks it. Wow. She has many examples on her blog.

(5.) Mayholic In Crafts YouTube – I have been a fan of May’s for some time now, and I am so excited that she started doing videos. Yay!

(6.) Ellen Hutson Sneak PeekJulie Ebersole has some great new products coming out soon. Stay tuned! I love the peek she shared here.

(7.) 15% Off My Favorite Things – Get 15% off My Favorite Things products using code “MFTSALE” while shopping HERE before 8/4/15.

(8.) Background Check Class – Our current Online Card Class is going on and we are having a lot of fun! This is a peek at one of my class projects. We are sharing a ton of background ideas. (It is never too late to join and you can take the class whenever you want.)

(9.) Hero Arts Blog – I have really been enjoying the Hero Arts blog lately. This card by Kelly is divine.

See you soon with a video. Promise. 🙂
