  1. My favorite background technique is yet to be discovered! I love them all and I hope to learn more!!

Thanks for the opportunity to win a spot in the class!

  2. I actually need to learn some background techniques. I rely heavily on embossing folders and have a ton of them. I done some backgrounds with alcohol ink and like that but would like to expand that

  3. I love a Distress Ink/watercolor background with another stamp stamped on top of it in matching or coordinating colors.

  4. I use distress ink blending for background scenes. If I have stamp sets I like to use the additional stamps to create a complementary background to go with my focal point or alternatively ink through a stencil. If there is going to be a large area of white space I like to use embossing folders to add texture or neutral embossing paste through a stencil. Alternatively using a layer which is intricately die cut as my background. Then of course there are all the lovely papers to choose from which can be used in so many creative ways.

  5. I am taking it easy these days and using my embossing folders to make back grounds for my cards. I have a lot of these and as I am growing older my hands hurt from blending the inks and using my Vagabond and the embossing folders is a pretty yet painless way to make backgrounds. I’m glad I have collected them from over the years!

  6. Thank you for a the chance. My favorite is probably using a big background stamp and embossing it or a stencil and using texture paste!! 🙂

It has given me many, many ideas and now to narrow down which ones to try first.
