Those cards are adorable! I should be working on my resume but I think I have to make some cards instead! 🙂

  2. Celeste E says:

Your cards are adorable! Do you use nestabilities for your scalloped circles? Not sure if I should invest in them or just one large scallop punch. Have you ever seen the movie Serendipity with John Cusack? Great movie! He’s one of my favorite actors…such a hopeless romantic!

I tried a delicious, relatively healthy, and very easy pumpkin muffin recipe this weekend:

Thanks for the chance to win.

Hi, great card- nice change from a regular card. I ‘ll have to try it. I love that I get to go away with my husband this week for 3 days. Great break from the everyday life!

  6. Sarah M says:

Those cards are just too cute!! You’re making me think I ‘need’ those stamps. 😉

We recently saw a movie called Penelope about a girl who’s born with a pig’s snout for a nose (as part of an old family curse). The only way for the curse to be broken is for someone from high society (like her) to love her. I know it sounds odd but was actually quite good. A little different from your same old same old romantic comedy.
Recent recipe I discovered was from allrecipes.com. ‘Clone a Cinnabon’. YUMMY!!!

I’ll be taking a 10 day trip to California starting this Friday.

  8. Caroline says:

I finally saw the latest Indiana Jones. What fun! I liked that they brought back Karen Allen. She has gone through some rough years. It makes me happy to see her back on her feet.

My roses are giving their last burst of blooms!

  11. Raquel says:

Yesterday, I packed a lunch and my two pups and went and had lunch with my husband at the park. He gets an hour and half lunch so I like to steal him away from the hospital and enjoy the beautiful park/lake on Ft. Jackson. Our dogs love chasing eachother around and make us laugh when they tumble into eachother!

  12. Caroline says:

Hey! Thanks for the pumpkin recipes. I like the site for the muffins. It even has pictures! sometimes they do speak more then words>

I wove a chair bottom in the pattern of that stamp. If you sat on it in shorts, you’d end up with that pattern on your legs. Hmmmm,
that gives me an embossing idea . . .

Today I’m baking and making Chocolate-Oatmeal cookies! Here’s the recipe! 🙂

    1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt into bowl. Cream butter and sugar in seperate bowl and stir in rolled oats, vanilla and 4 tablespoons water. Add flour mixture gradually and stir until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon-fuls onto greased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Cool on racks! ENJOY!

Since our anniversary is in October, we always go away to a cabin in the mountains to celebrate. This year, we’re taking our 3 sons as well. We go in November.

We also celebrate Thanksgiving with my parents.

  31. Katie says:

I haven’t rented anything fun lately, BUT I did just get a neat little popcorn replacement…..take 2 bags of oyster crackers and put them both in a large plastic bag….add a couple tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of dill and 1 envelope of Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning. Shake together to coat all the crackers, then spread on a cookie sheet(you may need to do this in batches depending on how big your over/cookie sheet is) and bake for 10 minutes at 350. YUM!!!!

  32. jenny says:

I love the look of the Christmas cards, the kraft cardstock is a great mix with the Christmas colors! I love that it is Fall, I really get in the mood to bake and cook anything with pumpkin in it. Happy Fall!

Today, TinkerBell the movie comes out! That makes me and my little girls happy!

  35. Holly says:

DVDs: Bones, season 2 – we don’t actually get any television, we just rent DVDs to catch up. Bones has the interesting cases of CSI with this really goofy romantic vibe. Love it.
Music: A band from England called Your Vegas. Incredibly fun, a cross between Coldplay and Oingo Boingo.
Books: A friend gave me some old Nancy Drew mysteries because she remembered me saying I’d read them when I was little. It was so fun to go back in time and be my “little” self as I read them.
Happy time: Last week was my 50th birthday and my husband took me to Disneyland. I rode California Screamin’ twice in a row first thing on my birthday. I sure don’t feel 50.

  36. Susan N says:

My 3.5 year old pre schooler made a card for her classmate’s birthday. They were going to celebrate with cupcakes and pizza on Monday. She had been so excited for this the whole weekend. Then on Monday, on her way to school, she had this thought that perhaps the birthday girl might not show up! Then what would happen to the cupcakes? The thought was innocent and entirely honest, her desire for the cupcakes.

  42. Linzie says:
