Just leave a comment on this post by Wednesday, October 22nd, 11:59pmEDT and I will randomly pick a winner.  Just tell me something.  Have you rented a movie lately that you love?  Have you found a new great recipe?  Tell me something happy. 🙂

Hi! I’m just finished watching a movie (on dvd) with my 3-years-old son. Since a few weeks he loves this girly-girl-group, K3. They’re huge in Holland and Belgium, especially loved by little girls, ages 3 to 7 or so. Until a few weeks ago he set the tv off, when they’re on. But now: he’s dancing and shaking his hips whenever he sees or hears them. A lot of fun to see :o) If you could see him, I know for sure you’ll get happy!
    Bye, Diane

I just want to say THANKS for a change of winning and I just made my delicious Pizzaiola conpane. For 4 small eaters you need: 1 1\2 pound of porcfillet sliced into thin pieces and baked all round. Put it into a big pan with the following:
    2 cans of pealled tomatoes
    5 toos of crushed garlic
2 teaspoons oregano, 1 basilicum, 1 tablespoon of sellery and salt and pepper as you like. Let this in the pan (softly) to sudder for one hour. If the sauce gets to thick at some hot water. You eat it with pane and garlicbutter. I hope you can read this.
Enjoy your meal. We all love this and you can make it in advance. Its nice, simple and easy

  45. Erin Glee says:

I have a happy memory that floated up from my subconscious when I saw that cool Studio Calico stamp….that is the pattern of woven cane(?) that my Mom used many years ago to replace the seats on some antique chairs she bought. It was in the early 1970’s, (and as my kids ask, yes, we did have cars back then), and I remember my Mom soaking that woven stuff in a big tub of water, cutting a rounded pattern out of it and then pressing the ends into a groove in the seat of the chair. Then she pressed a bigger piece of cane into the groove to hold it in place….groovy is right! I always liked watching her make things~she is an artist and very good with her hands. Thanks for the memories!

New recipe? Yes! This is a very tasty but simple one that my two little girls can practically make by themselves. Thin Apple Tart. Place 1 refrigerated premade piecrust on a pizza pan. Mix 1/4 sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon together. Sprinkle about 1 tbsp of the sugar mix onto the pie crust. Spread peeled apple slices over the top of the pie crust in a spokelike fashion working from the outside towards the center. Spread remaining sugar mix on top. Bake 1/2 hour at 425 degrees. After baking, mix 2 tbsp honey with 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Microwave on high for 40 seconds, Spread over the tart. Serve warm.

  49. I just watched Ironman…I’m not a huge action adventure film lover but I do adore Robert Downey, Jr. and this film was surprisingly entertaining!
