Sharing and giving away… :)

Hi!

Some holiday cards to share.  These were inspired by cards that my dear Shari Carroll taught at Scrapfest this year.

Now… how about two opportunities to win?

First, check out the Hero Arts stamps being given away over on American Crafts' Blog.  Click HERE.

Second, I have an extra of this great Studio Calico stamp.  Want it? Just leave a comment on this post by Wednesday, October 22nd, 11:59pmEDT and I will randomly pick a winner.  Just tell me something.  Have you rented a movie lately that you love?  Have you found a new great recipe?  Tell me something happy. 🙂

Have a great night.

Hi! My sister-in-law just sent me a link to your blog and said I should check it out because our styles are a lot alike. I was thinking I knew who you were by your name, and then I realized…Oh! I love her! THANKS for all the work you have done over the years!! God bless!

The last movie we saw was an indy movie called The Visitor. Like most indy movies, the ending left me wanting more. Then I saw August Rush and liked that one a whole lot! Let’s see…another thing is I made Crash Potatoes tonight for dinner and I loved watching my family inhale them. That makes me happy…watching my family enjoy the food I make for them.

But I can share that I got new 6×6 Basic Grey Ambrosia and Urban Prarie pads and they are so great…lucky there’s two pieces of each design – I can save one to look at and still use some on cards!!

Not to sound like “debbie-downer” but last week there was an Amber Alert for a 6 year old little boy who was kidnapped in a home invasion/robbery, and I believe he was missing for 4 days or so, & the police didn’t really have any “leads”… so onto the HAPPY part: On Saturday night there was breaking news that he was found walking alone in a residential area, apparently the kidnappers just dropped him off, and a public bus driver called the authorities and helped to return him home! 🙂
    Thanks!
    Jaime

The first three great inventions of the 21st Century: crockpot liner bags: no cleanup! Reynolds Release foil: never scrub a mac and cheese pan again (it all comes off.) Dawn Power Scrub: turns dark brown stuck on crud in your oven or on a baking dish into a gel that a sponge takes off. (None are directly sb-related, but they all free up your time…)
