Mainly, I use Neenah Classic Crest A4 Solar White and Scotch 3m double sided tape. Thank You for the great video!

After your video there are SO many products I want to try. I’m a very amateur card maker, and I can’t spend a lot of money on supplies, but the adhesives I use most are: Tombow Mono Dots tape and Ranger Multi Matte liquid. For paper, my local craft store carries what it describes as “heavy duty” card stock in white, cream and black. I keep that on hand for card bases, but I think I’m going to try Neenah 110 lb soon.

  3. Sandy D says:

I really appreciate you taking time to do these videos – they are so informative. Right now for my go-to white cardstock I am using Domtar Cougar 100 lb. cover 270, super smooth. It has matching high quality envelopes. I don’t use much color cardstock any more, but when I do I am using up my stash of Stampin Up. For adhesive I use tombo, Multi Medium, and score tape.

  4. Gilda (McStamper) says:

Thanks for sharing your favorites. I use mostly Neenah and Scor-Tape.

  5. I have lots and lots of white textured cardstock from AC because it cuts well with the Silhouette. I will be investing in some good paper for Copic coloring soon, too! My adhesive of choice is my ATG, though I love foam adhesive squares. I’ve also taken your hint to use craft foam…and then I use my ATG with it (though the ATG isn’t so fond of the foam :))

  6. Ang says:

I have a lot of Stampin’ Up paper I have bought in the past and I like Bazzill.

  7. Constance Hildebrand says:

I use Neenah 110 lb but I think, by accident, I have a ream of the Classic” and a ream of the “Index”. Now I understand why they feel so different. Thanks, this was so helpful!

  8. Michele says:

Neenah cardstock and ranger matti medium 🙂

  9. Patti says:

I use the same tape as the Be Creative tape all the time, but I buy it under a different name at my local small business papercraft store. She watches you, too, and knows to stock up when you show something new and exciting because I’ll be in looking for it. I’m still going through my other cardstock before I can justify buying new paper, but I’m looking forward to trying out the Neenah white and Gina K’s papers with some of her inks.

  10. Michelle S says:

Thanks for all the information. I love my B creative tape and Tombo glue. For paper I use the Neenah Solar White

  11. I love my ATG tape runner. I get refills (acid-free) from The Tape Depot, which are just as good as the brand name refills, and so much cheaper, especially if I get them in bulk! I also think they’re easier to thread in the dispenser than the brand name ones. For liquid glue, I use Multi Medium Matte & Perfect Paper Adhesive Matte pretty much interchangeably. I also have a small EK Success tape runner that I keep repositionable adhesive in, for when I want to adhere something only temporarily. Thank you so much for this video series, Jennifer–I always love it! And thanks for the great giveaways, too! 🙂 ~ Andrea

  12. Megan says:

Great video. I use Neenah Solar White and I also love the Bristol Paper… I bought some Distress Watercolor paper but had no success with it whatsoever. Sad. I loved the stamp runner until they stopped making it I no use that Kokuyo one and the Be Creative tape, I also use Jac paper but think it is time to try the Couture sticker paper.

  13. Since converting to the Neenah Solar White 110 lb, I found a local commercial paper supplier who is awesome, makes custom cuts for me and is generous with samples of desert storm. In the adhesive area, I am in love with Art Glitter Glue, buy it from Amazon in the big bottle and put it, like you do, into the little Darice bottles with the pointy tip. I have them everywhere. The tape runner you like looks interesting. I look forward to trying it.
Thank you for the great videos, Jennifer. You teach me so much!
    Blessings,
    Lesley

  14. Alyce says:

I use Neenah Classic Crest to stamp on. Or I use The Paper Cut Cryogen White Curious Metallic paper. It has a little shimmer to it. Very Copic marker friendly.
I like Beacon’s Zip Dry Scrap Book Glue ~ previously called Zip Dry Paper Glue. I occasionally use the Kokuyo tape runner.

  15. MelissaF says:

Great informative video, thanks so much! I use Recollections 110# white cardstock from Michaels for many of my card bases. I really like PTI Stampers Select white card stock for stamping but I want to try the Neenah Solar White and Gina K as well. I use the Tombow mono dots adhesive runner most of the time. I like how easy it is to wipe the dots away or reposition something. Thanks for your generous giveaway too!

  16. Kay says:

    Gina K has nice papers

  17. Laraine Randall says:

Love these videos! I have switched over to a bunch of your favorites especially the Neenah Classic Crest paper!

  18. Judy says:

    Jennifer,
This video of My Favorite Crafty Things was excellent. I never knew there were two thicknesses of 110 lb cardstock. You gave us a good variety of cardstocks too. I love Gina K’s cardstock and I’ve used Spectrum Noir 110 lb which is also a smooth white cardstock great for alcohol markers. It’s interesting the choice you chose for adhesives. I’ve used both the dot roller and the smooth adhesive about the same. I did purchase the Tim Holtz collage medium at your suggestion too. I do love working with Vellum paper especially for embossing. All your tips were very helpful… Thank you.

  19. Mindy says:

I usually use PTI card stock but have recently tried Gina K card stock and have to say that I love that too. For white CS, it’s Neenah Solar white all the way!

  20. bev p says:

You ask really hard questions. I have been working hard to use up a ream of heavy cardstock that doesn’t cut clean and doesn’t work particularly well with anything, but cost too much to waste!!! I ordered some SSS heavy white and love it. I also have some 110 lb black Recollections and some colors from various card kits I have purchased and don’t really know what brands they are, but they are yummy colors and really nice weight. As for adhesive, I use my big momma ATG (1/2 inch), double sided tape from Craft Chameleon (similar to the Be Creative) tape, and I love my Art Glitter Glue for paper to paper glueing of small die-cuts. (I have grown so much as a card-maker since my answer was “glue-stick”!!) I am off to bed to enjoy the video on my phone, but I find it hard to comment that way. Thank you for all your great tips. I do appreciate all the crafty input.

  21. Lindarub says:

I use my atg tape runner.

  22. Nicki says:

My go to for yardstick is definitely Neenah Solar White and I use 1/8″ Scoretape for my adhesive.

  23. Christine says:

I just use card stock from the discount store as being overseas, these card stocks are not readily available. These card stocks have beautiful colors and textures that I would love to try.

  24. Memoriesbymanda says:

My favourite adhesive is the 3M atg gun – boy does it stick! I got tired of creating layouts with adhesives that don’t last.

  25. Linnea Sundstrom says:

so chicken to try good cardstock for fear I’ll never be able to go back! 😀

  26. Katie says:

I always use the Simon Says Stamp cardstock.

  27. kim k. says:

Thank you so much for these videos. They are so helpful!! You have influenced my purchasing of new supplies. Thanks for helping me make crafting more fun.

  28. Melissa B. says:

I use Neenah 80 lbs, but I have been debating whether to go ahead and buy a ream of the 110 lbs (that’s what I’ll most likely do, just have to bite the bullet!). Adhesive, I use my Scotch ATG gun. I love it!

Thank you so much Jennifer for making these videos. It is such a useful resource to have all these products in one place where I can go back and find them when I am looking for something new or something that needs to be trustworthy.

  29. Marcia Scantlin says:

I use Bazzill cardstock for scrapbooking. I like the weight and texture of Carta Bella papers, too.

  30. Suzie Padrick says:

I really enjoy your crafty videos. They help me to try new things and opens up the doors to new brands of crafty things.

  31. E;izabeth Motyka says:

Beacon 3 and 1 has been my go to craft glue but am ready to try a finer tip glue for die cuts . thanks for the informative video on cardstocks . I have been using staples brand I am ready to try some of the wonderful suggestions

  32. gailgale says:

Thank you so very, very, much Jennifer!!!
Your “My Favorite Things” videos are so helpful.
I cannot thank you enough for all the wonderful things you have taught me about card making.
I am always stumped when it comes to which products to use and these videos have really helped me.
I would have never thought that the different papers would mean so much and that just because it says 110 lbs doesn’t mean papers are the same.
I make a lot of kids cards. I have a lot of Grandchildren…..32 to be exact and one more of the way.
I am always making cards for them.
I want to thank you for all your ideas. I watch your videos always and you teach us exactly how to make them.
That is so helpful to me since I am not very creative. I don’t come up with ideas on my own. I have to have a picture or an idea first and them I can go from there.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
I look forward every day to see what else you are sharing with us.
    Thank you, Thank you, Again!!!!

  33. Candy says:

I use the long dot adhesive you show here as my go to but also use the 3M foam and score tape when I need to.

  34. D.Ann C says:

My top adhesive is Tombow Xtreme for things I really want to stay put.

I always take your favorite things lists and make up a wishlist each year to try some new things. Thanks for the input!

  35. Jane Tipton says:

How do you store your papers so you know the name of color and the manufacturer?

  36. Connie G says:

I wish Santa would be bring me one of everything in this video! I agree that qualtiy CS and adhesives are key to successful card making. More than happy to spend a bit more for good stuff. Thanks for another very informative video. I use Gina K, PTI, and SU CS the most and mono multi medium and scor tape for most of my adhesives.

  37. SherylH says:

I would love to try the Neenah cardstock but have been unable to find it in Canada at a decent price. I have been using the Recollections 110 lb cardstock for my card bases and coloured cardstock from various companies. My go-to strong adhesive is ScorTape or Ranger’s Matte Medium.

  38. Tracy Miller says:

I use Gina K cardstock the most, I love all the variety of colors , her cardstock is great quality. I just recently bought some matching inks…..thank you Jennifer for the videos……great information!!

  39. Asra Khan says:

this was extremely useful, i always look out for your “favorites” videos….thank you

  40. Michelemh says:

Gina K cardstock and score tape. Have a great day.

  41. Lorie Bohnstedt says:

I love the Neenah cardstock and use it often. I also like MFT and PTI’s cardstock. I am a fan of Tombow liquid glue. I like glue because it gives you a few seconds to move things around to make sure they are exactly where you want them before it becomes permanent. Thanks for your videos!!!

  42. Lauryne says:

I love the Ranger Multi Medium Matte but eager to try the Collage Medium. Since, I just started making cards, I’ve been using Recollections 110 lb cardstock. Although, I would like to eventually try the Neenah cardstock or any of the others you’ve talked about.

  43. karenajo says:

I am currently using the Neenah cardstock because it is one you have previously recommended and I really like it !

  44. Carolyn says:

I use Neenah solar crest white card stock and PTI card stock. I use Kokuyo Long Dot Liner Adhesive and Tombow liquid glue. Thanks for all the inspiration.

  45. Leanne in Cali says:

I use Neenah 80 lb for good stuff but practice on white cardstock from Michael’s. I use my big ATG gun for adhesive (I’m a scrapbooker). Thanks for sharing so much with us!

  46. Trina P. says:

I do a lot of Copic colouring so my preferred cardstock is X-Press It. I sometimes use Neenah 80 lb. For adhesives, I use the tab runners from Adhesives by 3L.

  47. Dawn Young says:

I am going to have to try some of that Bristol paper…maybe Santa will read this and surprise me on Christmas!! Thanks for all your hard work to do this series for us…look forward to it every year!!

  48. Kay N. says:

Neenah for Copic coloring. MFT and PTI for colored Card stock. Multi matte medium and ATG adhesive. Love your videos Jennifer!

  49. Sage1899 says:

Just getting started but have some neenahn and various more made bases from various companies. I’m not sure who I like yet though.

  50. Jacqueline Tan says:

I was not particular about card stock, but since I tried Bristol smooth this summer for stamping and coloring, I have been using Bristol for all my cards! It is just the right weight and so so smooth. I use my trusty pink ATG gun for adhesive. Thanks for the chance! 🙂
