  1. I mostly uses Neenah and SSS cardstock amd for adhesives my go to are ATG gun and Multi Medium matte. Thanks for the chance!

  2. I love this series! Thanks again for doing it. I use Neenah Solar White (per your recommendation) almost all the time. I reach for Tombow Mono liquid glue (and hear Laura Bassen’s voice in my head as I do) a lot for adhesive.

  3. Another very informative video!! Thank you so much for compiling all of these for us! My fav cardstock is the Iris or Beilo smooth cardstock. And I’ve switched to the Kokuyo dotliner after your watching your review video a few months back 🙂 No looking back ever since I started using that amazing adhesive!!

  4. i have used all the tapes that are available to me and the best out of all is the industrial double sided tape that is used to adhere the letters on the walls i use it on paper and it holds quite nicely and so far it didnt harm the paper.
    Thats my favorite adhesive !!

  5. Thank You for sharing these essentials with us Jennifer 🙂
I tend to use liquid adhesives, as they give me a little “wriggle time”. My main ones are Helmar 450 Quick Dry and Tombow Mono Multi. I use X-Press It blending card for my Copic marker colouring 🙂
… that being said, I now have a list of new ones to try

  6. You’re spoilt for choice in the States! I haven’t heard of half these brands! I mainly use Xpress-It blending card.

  7. Informative video. I use a range of Neenah papers (textured and smooth) as card bases and panels. Multi medium matte is my adhesive of choice.

  8. Thank you for the valuable info! We are so lucky to tap into your vast experience and experimentation that most don’ t have time for. I am using a 110 lb card stock from my craft store and love using the Nuvo deluxe adhesive. It doesn’t clog! I do enjoy trying the items you suggest! 😉

  9. I usually use Neenah white cardstock for the base layer of my cards, and Tombow Mono adhesive. Thanks for all the tips and recommendations!

  10. I’ve used the Neenah Classic Crest papers for ages and ages. I wouldn’t buy anything else. I’m wanting to try some of the colors in the Classic Crest line, like the black and gray. They’re gorgeous!

  11. I love Gina K. Designs cardstock and I use Be Creative tape when I want a strong adhesive. Thanks for this series – it has a lot of great information!

  12. My go-to dot adhesive is Scotch. It’s easy to load, and it’s available with discount coupons at my local stores. The best liquid adhesive is Nuvo deluxe. It has yet to clog, and I don’t have to use a precision tip for small dots. Nuvo’s glue pens are also good.

  13. I usually use the Neenah 110lb Solar White for my stamping/coloring! As far as colored cardstock…I have all kinds of manufacturers, but mostly DCWV just because it’s easily accessible in any Michael’s/JoAnn’s/Hobby Lobby stores around me here in Kentucky! For adhesive I use the large ATG gun because it’s very sticky and I don’t have to refill it a bazillion times!! To glue down small items I used the Tim Holtz Matte Medium. Thanks so much for all the videos…they have helped me tremendously when looking for what really works and also introducing new product that I might not be aware of….there are just too many great stamp & die manufacturers out there!!!

  14. I am using Neenah Solar White for card bases and if I need coloured card stock its a mix, but mostly SSS – love their colour selection and quality. I use a mix of adhesive, but the one I reach for most is Aleene’s followed by Scor Tape for a lot of things – it never budges, comes in various widths and is a mess free product (which comes in handy for klutzy people…)

  15. I use Tombo Mono Multi Liquid glue (its nickname -the green glue). I find a little goes along way and very economical. Its adhesive lasts a long time unlike the tape runner glue. I also like the Multi matte medium for its matte finish. For paper, I use the Neenah Classic crest cover solar white in 80 and 110 lb. Also Bristol smooth for Zig markers and Arches for watercoloring.

  16. The card stock I most frequently use is Neenah Classic Crest 80# and 110#. I love them, both. My most-used adhesives are 3M’s ATG and Tombow’s liquid glue.
I can’t thank you enough for your videos, they have improved my card-making and thereby my happiness factor! Thank you, thank you!

  17. I am Kokoyo adhesive fanatic. I love both weights of the Neenah solar crest. For color I like the SSS but am going to be trying Gina k soon.

  18. Thanks Jennifer for this great video in this series.
The cardstock I use depence on what kind of card I make. I have different brands for different cards.
I used the most Papicolor cardstock, that is not so heavy, 200 gms, but with multiple layers what I offen use it makes a good solid card. I make almost never a single layer card.
For adhesive I use Tacky Glue and 0.5 mm foamtape on a roll

  19. I use Neenah 80lb for my layers and Neenah 110lb for my card bases. My favorite colored cardstocks are Gina K, MFT, and Papertrey Ink. They all offer gorgeous colors, Gina K’s Lipstick cardstock is my absolute favorite!!! I use Altenews adhesive runner as well as Ranger MMM. Like most of your viewers, I use whatever you tell us you like and I have yet to be disappointed by anything you’ve suggested. I know that you are very in depth and thorough with your testing of products and you only suggest products that you have had success with for a while. I truly appreciate that. We all know cardmaking is a VERY expensive hobby. I trust your suggestions and ONLY your suggestions for products. Thanks so much for all you do!!

  20. I use a tape runner, double sided tape, foam tape & multimedium matte as my go to adhesives. It depends on what job I’m doing as to which one I choose.

  21. I use Bazzill 110# cardstock a lot and my go to adhesive is often my ATG gun, or Multi Matte Medium for a liquid glue.

  22. Thank you for your videos. They are full of information and inspirational.
I love Gina K’s heavy cardstock for card bases and Tombow liquid glue or their tape runner.

  23. I have recently discovered double sided tear tape. and the red line tape. I love using them both. I have not been picky about the brand thus far because I have just been using what I have found locally and have not found a bad product yet. but I love the adhesion that I get from the Ranger Multi-Medium glue.

  24. I really love using the foam adhesive squares on the back of card stock I had stamped. I love that it pushes it out and gives it another look. I also just got the foam strips which I never knew existed until I watched your videos. They really make it easy when I want to do the back of a whole sheet. Thanks so much and love your blog!!!

  25. Thank you for your recommendations. I always value your crafty opinions! I tend to use Bazzill or American Crafts cardstock, because it’s readily available – I was gifted multipacks of both a while back and I still have tons of colors. For adhesives I use an ATG gun (I scrapbook 12×12 and it goes a long way), Glossy Accents or Glue Dots for smaller accents.

  26. I have been using the Georgia pacific for card bases but I love the Gina K line! I have just started getting MFT cardstock as well. I wish Gina K had her envelopes in packs to coordinate like she does the sampler paper packs. I have all of them….so nice!

  27. I love Papertrey Ink cardstock for cardmaking and Bazzill for scrapbooking. My favorite adhesives are Xyron and 3M double-sided tape for cardmaking and Kokuyo for scrapbooking.

Thanks for this series and the giveaways!

  28. Hi Jennifer,
I don’t know if you have time to read all the many comments you get, but I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all the time and effort you put into your Favorite Things video series. This is my first year being a subscriber, and I just found some time so I started with the overview video and watch your My Favorite Stamps Video. So nicely done and so helpful to me; you mentioned companies I didn’t even know existed!! It must have taken a TON of work to pull all the stamps together and now you have to re-file all of them! I wrote all of them down and put * next to the ones I am most interested in and plan to check in to further. I will for sure be watched all of the videos and also sharing them with a friend who does not have a computer. THANK YOU so very much for all you do throughout the year for us, and for this special yearend treat–Your Favorite Things! -Stacy

  29. I just started to use Neenah Solar White cardstock per watching your videos and I just love it!!!! It’s great paper for coloring with Copic markers! Lately I have been using my quickie glue pen a lot for intricate die cuts! Thank you for doing these videos! Thy truly have amazing recommendations!

  30. Jennifer, thanks for doing these videos every year, they really help me focus with so much out there. I love kokuyo adhesive runner. I love that it has so much adhesive and doesn’t have to be refilled all the time, and it sticks!

  31. I use a large variety of cardstocks, but for my adhesives I pretty much use either my ATG or Ranger Multi Med.-Matte finish, or Tombow Multi.

  32. I enjoyed today’s blog about paper & adhesives. My cardstock is mostly from Club Scrap but I have some Gina K. and The Stamps of Life as well. I use my ATG 1/2″ adhesive all the time but I love, love Club Scrap’s Bookbinding glue in a fine tipped applicator. This stuff works on anything! Paper, Plastic, Wood to name a few. I also couldn’t live without my Sizzix 6″x6″ adhesive sheets. They are 10 times easier to handle at this size and work great.

  33. I am a big fan of neenah cardstock as well. I have to say that my current love is the mft glitter card stock it is awesome to work with.

  34. I just use plain ol’ Scotch brand double-sided tape most. We’ve been using it for years, and it does the trick when holding the paper layers together. There are so many different kinds of tapes, and each one has its use. We have a shoe box full of just adhesives.
