  1. Daniella says:

I use Neenah Solar White paper!

  2. Connie says:

Thanks for this series. I’m learning so much since I’ve just gotten into this addictive craft. I practice on various inexpensive papers, but for serious projects I like Gina K cardstock. Adhesives have been trial and error, but I love Tonic Deluxe Adhesive NUVO Glue. It holds well and doesn’t wrinkle my paper like many wet glues do.

  3. Loving these post Jennifer, so helpful since you are the pro. These are so appreciated. I like Bassil cardstock, I like the weight of it and adhesive I use every kind you can imagine, I have 3 huge drawers filled with all different brands I really don’t have a favorite.

  4. Jackie says:

I’m mainly a scrapbooker but do enjoy card making more lately. I use my ATG gun for adhesive. For paper I mainly use American Crafts cardstock, but have recently acquired Bazzill cardstock as well. I did buy Neenah Solar White from my LSS for the stamping I have begun to enjoy more too!

  5. Jane Bell says:

Thank you for this amazing video Jennifer. When I first started making cards approximately a year ago, you always mention Nina paper. That has now become my favorite.

  6. Angie Cammack says:

Hi there! I’ve been using Tombow Mono extreme adhesive and I love it. I’m still using the rest of my Paper Trey Ink heavy cardstock so I don’t waste it and then will be switching over to Neenah.
    Thanks so much!

  7. Carol b says:

The paper that I use most is from Papertrey Ink, I like the weight and quality and the adhesive is Scotch replaceable rolls for the tape glider.

  8. Theresa P says:

I used Neenah CS and Gina K CS and recently I purchased some Gina K envelopes.

  9. Nina says:

I love your videos thanks for posting. I learn a ton! I am going to ask Santa for the Neenah Sor White Classic Crest realm of paper!

  10. Dana Desmond says:

I purchased a few reams of the Neenah Solar White cardstock in 110# and 80#. It was quality, but I really prefer the 110# cardstock from Staples. I use Art Glitter Glue, Scor-Tape, and ATG adhesive the most. Unfortunately, I have to order all of these online. None of my local stores carries them. So for that reason, I also use Beacon Fabri-tac when I make journals. It is available everywhere.

  11. Susan Romito says:

Thanks so much for sharing all your favorites with us! My credit card company also thanks you! LOL. I’ve been using stampin up papers but I’m looking to get away from them some and try other brands.

  12. Aimee LaCroix-Slocum says:

I use Whisper White cardstock from Stampin’ Up and have been wanting to try Nennah Class Crest to compare. For adhesives, I have tried several and never seem to settle on a favorite, so in the mean time I use Tombow mono adhesive. I have really appreciated your favorites videos and especially the crafting tools….I added several things to my wishlist!

  13. Becky Green says:

THANK YOU, Jennifer! LOOOOVE these video’s! 😉 One note about the 3M Foam Tape. I discovered they are retiring the 1/2″ roll. That is why the price has jumped to double what it used to be. 🙁 I have been checking around & someone suggested to me to go to industrial foam tape, that is UNBELIEVABLY CHEAP! If you want to know more, you can e-mail me about that. I haven’t ordered it yet, but am planning to.Thank you so much again for sharing all of your wisdom! 😉

  14. Kathy says:

Thank you so much for all those helpful hints. This has been my first year of card making (and I am really enjoying the craft) but stumbling through all the options of cardstock and adhesives has been mind blowing. My sister has helped me out a lot with options of what to use, but watching your videos has been very enlightening. Thanks again and Happy Holidays to you and yours.

  15. Stacey Kowbel says:

Thanks for all the products tips! I don’t have a favourite paper and have struggled with my Copic paper as it bleeds way too much. I can’t wait to try something else once my stock runs out. For adhesives, I love my Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Runner. I definitely need to get the precision tip for my diamond glaze I’ve been eyeing it for a while now!

  16. Mary Holshouser says:

I sell Stampin’ Up so most of my CS comes from them.
My favorite adhesive is double-sided scotch tape.
If I’m using a runner, it’s my Xyron.
    thanks

  17. Nancy M Lane says:

I use Scotch Advances Tape Glider for my tape adhesive, and Tom Bows liquid glue for small things. Usually I use Stampin Up card stock and designer paper, however I also use Gina K Designs, Hot off the Press, and card stock from Joann Fabric when I can find the heavy weight on sale. I use stamps from Stampin Up mostly but really like a lot from Gina K, Hot off the Press, Heartfelt Creations, Newton’s Nook, and Art Impressions.

  18. Rita says:

I like gina K’s paper. The weight is great and colors are so true to color. Love all your videos. Merry Christmas and have a sparkling day.

  19. Kelly B says:

My budget means my paper comes from Michael’s and I usually use my TomBow tape runner and liquid adhesive.

  20. Jennifer Olson says:

I’ve been using Canson watercolor paper. I recently started using the Ranger mulit medium matte adhesive just about the time you switched to the Collage medium! LOL

  21. Betty says:

Thank you, Jennifer, for all of these videos. I watched them carefully and took notes so I will know what to order next. I value your opinion and learn so much from you!

  22. Amanda Hays says:

I have been using Neenah classic crest 80 lb cardstock the most. I did buy some Strathmore Bristol smooth also, but have not used it as much. I will use it more when I get my Arteza brush pens.

  23. Karen says:

My favorite adhesive is Scrapbook Adhesive little rectangles. I have tried the dots but did not like them as much. I am able to remove one rectangle and use that, or use the strip as it comes out of the applicator. Perhaps I should try the Kokuyo to see if that is to my liking.
Thanks for all the effort you take to make these lists. They are helpful.

  24. Jackie says:

My favorite paper is from Gina K. She and her products are amazing.
My most used adhesive is a 3M tape gun.

  25. Marcia says:

Love the Neenah Solar White card stock and Gina K – She has awesome stuff. I use all sorts of adhesives but generally reach for Ranger Multi-medium Matte! Thanks so much for another great video!!

  26. Laura Greig says:

You have converted me to the Neenah Solar White Classic Crest!

  27. Lissa says:

I use canson, Strathmore and Arches watercolor paper. I also use Strathmore Bristol, as well as Stillman and Birn journals. I would love to try the Neenah paper, or some new stamps? Thanks for the giveaway!

  28. Jodi Schell says:

Thanks so much for these favorite videos! They are soon helpful and have expanded my wish list greatly! LOL currently I used tombo mono but want to try the distress collage medium. For card stock I have some whisper white from SU but just ordered some Neeah.

  29. Karen says:

My favorite, is Recollections by Michaels’ Crafts, I find that works best with my cricut, for adhesive I usually use dollar store tape runners but I love my ATG gun.

  30. Teresa C says:

I often use Papertrey Ink cardstock with some Neeneh Solar White and some Michael’s cardstock.
    A bit of a mixture, isn’t it?
Thank you for your videos. I appreciate your recommendations.
    🙂

  31. Carol McGregor says:

Great, informative video. I currently use generic 110 LB paper but have been wanting to upgrade. I am not happy with some of my results. I have ordered the Neenah Solar White you suggested. Can’t wait for it to get here. I have also ordered a new tape runner but can’t remember which brand. I also put the Arteza brush pens on my xmas wish list. Love your crafty videos. They are so informative.

  32. Barbara JerromBar says:

Your videos are so informative and well-planned. I appreciate your professional touch–steps above many other videos. Thank you! Recently I have started using the Neenah Classic Crest 110# paper and have found that it is much better for card bases. I look forward to trying a better quality colored stock like Gina K paper and envelopes.

  33. Michele W says:

I haven’t settled on a favorite cardstock yet. I’m using up cardstock that I already had and then hope to start trying the cardstocks you’ve been recommending but to be honest it also depends on what I am making and for whom. I will probably keep using the cheaper cardstock for Michaels and JoAnn’s so some treat boxes and the like that I know are going to be destroyed by the kids as soon as they are opened. 🙂 Truth is I’m still experimenting with a lot of things but the adhesives that I’ve been reaching for the most so far are the be creative tape and Scotch quick dry adhesive, which I’ve put in a fine-tipped bottle to use for attaching sentiments, etc. I also use it a lot when I’m making treat boxes and other 3-d projects because there’s more wiggle room. I’m still on the hunt for a favorite dot tape runner since my old favorite was discontinued. I really appreciate your videos and your recommendations as they help me narrow my searches when I am looking for new products. I waste a lot less money that way.

  34. Patricia says:

Love seeing new products I haven’t seen before! I think my next paper purchase is going to be from Gina K. Thank you for putting together this series of videos, they are extremely informative and helpful!!

  35. KarenHTK says:

I use 110# Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock for card base, 85# generic colored cardstock for die cutting..
For adhesives I use Sookwang Tapa aka Be Creative Tape 1/8 and 1/4″ width), TOMBOW Tape Runner, Aleene’s Quick Dry Tacky Glue, Beacon FabriTack to adhere gemstones. I will be converting when my current inventory is used up or donate what I NO longer need or use.

  36. Flo says:

I use Neenah 80# and 110# the most, stampin up colored card stock and glue glider adhesive. I want to get thicker colored card stock.

  37. LOIS says:

Very helpful!! Thanks so much for sharing!! I most often use Catherine Pooler cardstock and Glitter Glue adhesive (FROM mAYMAYMADEIT’S SITE).

  38. Becky Carafa says:

I have used PTI’s thick white paper, but the last time I needed some I got the Neenah classic crest. I’m old school and use 3m double-sided tape as my adhesive!

  39. Sue Rodriguez says:

I love the Neenah Solar white cardstock for stamping and coloring, great weight and brightness. Also, I love the Bee Creative double-sided tape (which I learned about on your blog). Thank you for all your wonderful videos! You have really helped me step up my paper crafting.

  40. Terri (Blindstamper) says:

Scor-tape and multi medium matte are 2 of my go to adhesives. I’m really beginning to experiment with specialty papers…lots of fun and different looks.

  41. Maria says:

Love these recommendations! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this!

  42. Mary Neubauer says:

Thank you soo much for this post! I am one of those who ordered Neenah 110 pound index and was like what is the hype?! Whoops! So informative. Well right now I am using the Neenah 110 pound index the most because I have an entire ream of it but I will be investing in some of the others you mentioned soon!

  43. Julia D. says:

Thank you for taking the time to make all these “Favorite Things” videos! The paper I use the most is the white from Papertrey Ink because that’s what I use to stamp on and like how Copics work on it best. I have issues with tape sometimes so my go-to adhesive is Zip Dry Paper Glue because it allows me to re-position it a little bit before it’s stuck for good! Thank you for the chance to win!!

  44. valchic says:

I use Neenah mostly and adhesive I use Be creative tape and my ATG gun. Thanks Jennifer,so informative

  45. Christine S. says:

I most often use all colors of Stampin Up cardstock and I most often use Tombow Mono Permanent adhesive roller. I do like the Stampin Up Fast Fuse for embossed or heavier paper pieces. Thank you for sharing your faves, look forward to it every year!

  46. Jen R says:

Thank you so much for your videos – they are so well done and full of such useful information. I always take notes. I use 80# Classic Crest as it goes through my laser printer. I hope to give the 110# a try soon! I have quite a stash of colored cardstock from Michaels but when that runs out, I hope to use some of your suggestions!

  47. Becky Kavanagh says:

I have so many different cardstocks and they all have their uses. Not sure I could pick one – but I love to see the colored variety pack looking so lovely in their package. Makes me hesitate to open the package – HA! I have a variety of tape runners but double-sided tape has helped me on so many occasions when I needed something stronger. I also utilize my Xyron sticker maker for those tiny items – keeping them together until I need them has saved me again and again.

  48. Kailash says:

I love my Neenah cardstock and love using double sided adhesive!!!

  49. Cheryl Nussbaum says:

Lately I have been using the Gina K cardstock and love the colors! Also like to use Scor-tape. Thanks for another very informative video!

  50. Sheila H says:

Thanks so much for sharing, Jennifer. I always enjoy your videos. I use Recollections 110 lb card stock. The adhesives I use are Tombow Mono and the Glue Glider Pro tape runner. They all work well for me and my budget.
