I am loving my gel pens from kaiser craft. They have pastel and glitter and metallic. They are so awesome. Only thing is we need more green and red ink at this time of year.

  5. Vivian says:

I’m currently loving my Derwent Inktense pencils. I love the effects it gives once I add water — it’s like watercoloring but requires less skills!

Love your videos! I have started building my copic collection using your recommendations 🙂

  9. Joetta Wood says:

I don’t do a lot of coloring, but do enjoy it when I do. I have colored pencils and Marvy pens which was a gift and are a lot like the Tombow. I enjoy learning from your videos and the variety of techniques you present. Thanks.

  10. I like my watercolor pencils. I have the Tomboy markers and use them from time to time. Thanks again for another great video.

My favorite coloring implements are Copic Markers. Next I would have to say my sisters sinks and markers. Thanx for a chance to win!

  12. Janet says:

I love my prismacolor pencils which I’ve used for a long time. I’m just starting coloring with other media. So far I’ve had the most luck with distress markers. I really want to try the zig markers.

  13. Sandy says:

Love my Copic markers. Just getting into using distressed inks. So many things to try so little time.

  14. Bonnie says:

I love my Copics, of course. But my new thing is watercoloring with the Zig pens. Beautiful!

Zig coloring brushes are my favorite. Thanks for such a clear summary!

my favorite coloring method??? not sure there is a favorite as I love to color with zig, distress inks and colored pencils. . . .have recently combined many methods when coloring. . . .use pencils to highlight watercoloring. . . .

  17. DarlaN says:

I have not coloured much yet but I am starting with watercolour paints as a start. Thanks for another helpful video.

  18. Angela says:

I love coloring with Copics or with Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils. The pencils are so smooth, blendable without any other products and there’s no waxy bloom! My goal for 2o17 is to watercolor with paints and Zig markers.

  19. Carolee McCaslin says:

Great video!!! I love to watercolor with distress inks:)

  20. Betty says:

I am not very good at coloring but I like the copics for blending. My original choice of coloring was the Tombow markers. Thanks, Jennifer, for your Favorite Crafty Things….and all of your other videos!

  21. Gilda (McStamper) says:

I am still a dove blender fan and use it with tombows and Distress markers. Also like to use watercolor pencils.

I love colouring with Zigs and distress inks.

I think I lean towards markers the most when coloring, then colored pencils. Thank you for your videos!!

  24. Zina says:

Thanks again for your videos. Right now I’m just using my kids leftover markers and colored pencils from school that they no longer use and then if I want a little sparkle a top of shimmer with the wink of Stella.
Next I think I need to invest in some color wink of Stella markers.

  25. Loraine Pike says:

You name it, I’ve tried it! Tombow markers, watercolor crayons & pencils, markers. I really liked Stampin Up’s Blendabilities but unfortunately they are no longer sold. I have been doing some watercoloring mostly using distress inks–I love that there are so many colors available.

  26. Dana says:

Using die inks and a watercolor pen is my favorite, I feel I have the most control that way. Try as I might, I have trouble coloring with abandon 🙂

  27. Probably distress inks. I like zigs, but I’m not sure I’ll ever feel very confident with them and I don’t love that I have to use special paper to get really good results. I’ve been wanting to invest in good colored pencils for a long time…

  28. Kim Potts says:

Recently I am loving Zig brush markers. So easy and beautiful results.

  29. Heather Lynn says:

I love Copics for coloring stamped images. I love distress inks for coloring stencils, backgrounds, and watercolor. I actually use Prismacolor pencils for my coloring book pages, but will start using them for my stamped images as well. Thanks for the video. Great ideas on how to add shimmer to other color mediums. Have a very joyful Thanksgiving.

  30. Thank you for another wonderful, helpful video, Jennifer! I truly appreciate all of the time and effort that you put into each of your videos. I like to watercolor using watercolor markers and Distress inks. I often reach for my Dove blender pen. Once I began using Bristol cardstock for my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens, I found much greater success with blending colors. I was so grateful to learn what a difference the paper makes! I would love to try Prismacolor pencils one day. Sending Thanksgiving blessings to you and your family! ♡

  31. Kelli says:

Water coloring with my Distress inks is my new favorite thing to do for cards!!!

  32. Christine Kosmak says:

I don’t have a “favourite” colouring method as yet. I have been slowly over the last 18 months? been building up my Copic collection, I also have some watercolours and chalks, but I would dearly love the distress inks/markers etc to try out and also on the wish list are the Prismacolour and Polychromo pencils. Unfortunately my carers pension doesn’t allow much in the way of spending, so it’s going to be a while before I can afford them. I do like experimenting/playing, and trying out different things though!! I always enjoy watching your videos as I learn new things and am introduced to new stamp companies etc. Unfortunately that tends to become very depressing as I can’t afford everything that I see that I like!! LOL!!

  33. Ginni Berg says:

Love, Love Love your “favorite” videos. Still having a struggle with watercoloring. . . .think I’ll switch to colored pencils!

  34. sftbalrcks says:

I’m not the best at water coloring but I tend to use the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and Distress markers most often and love them both!

  35. Mary Neubauer says:

I just started coloring with Distress Inks and I think that’s my favorite!

  36. Marcieb says:

I love my prismacolor watercolor makers, they give so much control, my second would be my distress markers!

  37. Debbie Petersen says:

I’m trying to learn Copics right now, want to try the Zig Clean Color brushes and I just got the distress markers so I’m trying to figure out what I’m best with!

  38. Lesa Sallmann says:

Hi Jennifer, Thanks for your awesome videos! I LOVE to color, my preferred method is using color pencils. I feel I have the most control with them, and if I have an “oops”, its easier to correct. I like using Gamsol with a stump to make the color pop and blend. Happy Thanksgiving 🙂

  39. Sarah E says:

Distress inks are my newest coloring favorite… especially for no line watercolor.

  40. Andrea V. says:

Hmm, a favorite… that’s hard since I like each of them for different techniques but if I had to pick just one, I guess I’d have to say distress inks since you can use them for pretty much anything. Love their versatility! Thanks so much for all the effort you put into your favorite crafty things – I start waiting for it in the middle of the summer each year!! ?

  41. Katherine Dent says:

My favorite is colored pencils, but I would like to learn more watercolor techniques with markers/distress ink. Thanks for your wonderful demonstrations. Makes me want to try new things.

  42. Catherine A. says:

I probably reach for my Distress inks the most. All water-based products, including watercolour paints, markers, pencils, etc are my first choice. Love this series every year. Thanks.

  43. Barbara S says:

I’m torn rotator get now between my Prismacolor pencils and various watercolors. Sometimes I combine them ?

  44. Lisa Silver says:

I love to watercolor and to color with pencils. It’s such a fun way to relax and create!

  45. Shona Patterson says:

I love paints, Peerless, Kuretake, Ken Oliver Color Bursts and Distress inks used as paint. I have Prismas and Copics but i don’t seem to remember to use them very often.

  46. Lennetta J says:

Unfortunately I am still trying to figure out what coloring technique works best for me. I am definitely going to try the Bristol card stock and see if the blending is better on my projects!

  47. Allie says:

My favorite is colored pencils. I’ve been eyeing the Prismacolor Colored Pencils but have been hesitant because of all the bad breakage reviews. Thanks for the heating pad tip. What sharpener do you use?

  48. Martha R says:

I am so intimadated by coloring…think I need private lessons. Ha.
I enjoyed your video tremendously. Thank you.

  49. Betty J says:

Coloring is definitely my favorite way to make a card. I love watercoloring with whatever medium I have. I enjoy the no-line watercoloring most and then watercoloring within an image stamped with white embossing powder. I also love Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.

  50. Jen P says:

I really enjoy coloring with my Copics but I’ve recently been playing around with the Zig Real Brush markers and loving it!!
