Video (again) and a giveaway (again)

Hi!

Quick post tonight – I have a bad allergy headache.  Wowsers.

First, we have two winners of the Jolees goodies: Stacy M and Tanya.  I will email you both.

Oh, I must mention before i forget.  Want to see an amazing layout?  Click HERE.  Wow!  Robyn is incredible.

Next, I have a video over on 2peas.  It shows how I used the new die cutting machine, the Slice (from Making Memories) to create a paper ornament.  If you are curious about the Slice, it shows it in use.  If you don’t have one, you can also watch it to learn how to create a paper ornament, but you could instead use punched shapes or other die cuts. 🙂  Click HERE for all the info on the project.

So, the giveaway I have today happens to be one of my favorite BasicGrey stamp sets.  Why I am giving it away?  I accidently bought two.  Der.  🙂  But my ditziness is your gain.  Hee.   Just leave a comment on this post by 11:59pmEDT on Sunday telling me your most common used thing for letters (stickers, chipboard, die cut, rub-on, stamps, etc).  I will pick a winner of this great BasicGrey stamp set…

I am not one to have titles on my pages – but one letter or word will do just fine! More often than not I use a rub-on or sticker – I seem to always forget about the chipboard! I just bought the rub-on’s that match this stamp set – love it!

Great stamp! I would love to give it a home since I already have the paper to match. LOL!! I have two favorites for letters: stamps or chipboard.

  29. fiona says:

I think it would be a draw between my rubber stamps and letter stickers. I do have one set of stickers that I have traced around a couple of times just because I didn’t want to use them up but liked the font and of cousrse needed a different colour that’s also the reason I love my stamps!

  30. Amy says:

I like to use rub-on’s or stickers. Interesting to see “The Slice”. I have the Cuttlebug. But I wish I could afford to have all of them.

  32. Rachel Loesch says:

I have 2 favorite go to items for letters: my cricut for die cut letters and my CTMH stamps for stamped letters. Sometimes I even use both at the same time!

Love the video of the slice, I’ve been wondering about how that works. And the ornament is great! Thanks again!!

  33. Jennie says:

    Love the updates.
I tend to use letter stickers most of the time. Basic gray is my go to brand. Love the sturdiness of the cardstock stickers and think thin, fragile stickers should be banned!

In a pinch, I use my own handwriting. If I can plan, I use stamps or computer printing.

  34. Karen says:

Karen D I use the acrylic stamps for letters from Hero Arts and they work for me

  35. Pam N. says:

My 2 most common things I use for letters are rub-ons and my QK Squeeze. COming in 3rd are punch out letters.

  36. Sticker letters on scrapbook pages!

Stickers at a crop/event and stamps at home. Hope your headache abates quickly!

  39. Elaine says:

    hi jen,
Sorry about your allergy headaches! My mom used to get them too – they were migraine like from what it sounded like. I like chipboard letters but can’t afford that most of the time so it’s STAMPS!

  40. Jill Swanson says:

I like the rub ons because I can see where I am putting them. I have been trying out the clear alphabet stamps and like how I can position them as well. After more practice, I am sure I will be stamping more. Thanks Jennifer, Jill S

I love all types of Alpha – my favorites are basic grey – two color stickers, thickers and pink paislee script.

I use die cuts from my sizzix dies and my cricut as I am just not that great with the stamps yet though i like those too and haven’t really tried the rub ons or the chip board. I want to get the chip board and broaden my horizons LOL…..so much I want to learn and all at once :))
