No worries if yours isn't on the list yet.  I am going to wait until Wednesday to do the drawings.  Just in case the mailman had some held up somewhere.  Would hate for someone to miss out on the drawing due to slow mail. πŸ™‚

So, Wednesday is the day!  Be sure to come and see if you are a winner of a prizeRemember… the only way you can find out if you won is if you come by and see.  I don't have everyone's emails and addresses.  Thank you for understanding!

Thank you so much, once again for your generosity.

And, because you all rock so much, how about a giveaway right now!?  Just leave a comment on this post giving me a recommendation of something good (movie, treat… anything!) by Sunday at 11:59pmEDT and I will pick a winner of these goodies…

  1. Hi Jennifer! If you like snack/trail mix, my absolute favorite is the Quaker Baked Cheddar Snack Mix. It has the Quaker Oat Squares in it and is oh-so-yummy!!! Also, a movie we just watched that we absolutely loved (and my husband and I don’t have kids!) is Ratatouille. It’s been out for a while, but we just saw it for the first time and absolutely loved it!

  2. If you’re a cereal eater, Chocolate Chex is da bomb!!!! Boys are going back to school on Wednesday, so today is shoe shopping day…UGH!!! My boys HATE shopping so a bribe is in order….ice cream, game rental….something…ANYTHING to ease the pain. Quite possibly enormous quantities of chocolate for ME!!!

  3. I just finished reading a fantastic book, The Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards….I’d highly recommend reading it. Then for dinner, I’d have to recommend Skyline, then dessert Greater’s. I used to live in Cincinnati and when we visit, my family can never get enough Skyline and Greater’s. Enjoy!

  4. I love recommending great movies eventhough they’re not the recent watches. So, please go watch Lucky Number Slevin! It’s great!! πŸ™‚ Also, I’d definitely recommend you watch the Olympics for Michael Phelps (swimming). He rocks!!

  5. Dunkin Donuts has a really good iced cappacino. The mocha is so yummy with whipped cream and they drizzle chocolate down over the whipped cream. Thanks for a chance to win.

  6. Watching the Olympics rates high on my list. I am so proud of our athletes. We stay up until the wee hours of the morning enjoying the broadcasts. Have your own mini Olympics at home. My brother produced one with his son and friends and used his barbecue for the Olympic torch, and the kids participated in all kinds of fun “sports” such as blowing bubbles, hula hooping, bean bags, etc. They LOVED it!

  7. I like watching the Olympics every night, especially gymnastics. But I suggest planning one sleepover/scrapbook night with some of your friends who scrspbook. They could come over and eat dinner, go to a scrapbook store, and then stay up really late. (around 2 or 3 o’clock a.m.) You could get a lot of work don. just get a large bag of peanut M n M’s and you’re set to go!! I have tried this and it is lots of fun!!

  8. Hi Jennifer! One of my favorite relaxing times is a pedicure. I love them. A nice foot rub will do in a pinch before sitting down with a bowl of popcorn and your honey to watch a nice movie!

  9. Mama Mia is a great movie to see. I have been to see it a few times and my 11 year old niece really loved it. I have also been reading the Twilight series and I am obsessed.

  10. the book series Twilight is the best, there are four, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. The movie Twilight will be out in December.

  11. Hi Jennifer – before summer is over, the best treat in the world is fresh strawberry shortcake. I make it with farmstand strawberries macerated in some sugar, fresh lightly whipped cream, and sweet homemade biscuits. Yum, yum.

  12. Take the girls to go see “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2”. I brought my daughter last week to see it, was really good. We also went together a few years ago to see the 1st one, kind of a ritual for us now.

  13. I recommend just some “me” time. Between everything we HAVE to do, it’s always nice to reward yourself by doing something you WANT to do……

  14. My ‘something good’ reccomendation is actually a ‘something awesome’…try the new Starbucks Vivannos, particularly the banana chocolate one. They are cool, tasty, just the right amount of sweet … the perfect treat for a summers day. AND they are only 270 calories per treat, complete with fruit and protein. YUMMY. (If you’re a coffee gal, go all the way and add a shot of espresso – OMG). So there you have it. My something awesome.

  15. Hey Jennifer! I don’t know if this is “your thang”, but I recommend an outdoor movie. We hook the DVD player to the projector, hang a sheet on the side of the house and snuggle under a blanket with some Reese’s ice cream. It doesn’t get any better than that!!

  16. A couple of things I can recommend:

Paper Source Bookcloth Tape — comes in lots of BEAUTIFUL colors. There’s not one near me, so I stalk their store every time I’m in WA or now OR.

On a hot day like today (or any day, really), I am in love with Moose Tracks ice cream, preferably the extreme chocolate version. If the Husband is trying to get out of the dog house, or just make me smile, this does the trick far better than flowers at our house. πŸ™‚

  17. My favorite treat (and my downfall!) is United Dairy Farmers cherry cordial ice cream sundae with hot fudge smothering it!!! Their hot fudge is the best!

  18. HI Jennifer – something that would be nice for Colin – the girls are most likely too old, but the National Amusement Theater here in Milford, had KidToons every Sat – Sun at 10:00. They change every month. Good for little ones. I take my granddaughter every month.
But something for everyone – well anything chocolate should do. Servatii’s Chocolate Mousse is AWESOME.

  19. What is good… I would have to say the Dairy Queen double fudge chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard! woohoo! yummy πŸ™‚ … it has been my all time favorite preggo craving this summer!

  20. How about a pizza cookie? Take chocolate chip cookie dough and make one HUGE cookie in the bottom of a round cake pan. Once it’s almost cooked (still soft in the middle) take it out and put a big scoop of ice cream in the middle. Everybody grabs a spoon and shares…it’s my families fav treat!!

  21. A smoothie from Smoothie King (theres one at Kenwood), I’m totally addicted, theres one by IKEA. The movie Enchanted is better than I thought it would be, Colin and the girls would both enjoy it.

  22. Chocolate will add cheer to any day! Treat yourself with something chocolate-y and gooey like brownies!!! Scrappy-wise, Target is having a huge scrapbooking clearance so run to Target. πŸ™‚

  23. I wonder if you’ve ever tried Dreyer’s Dibs? They’re bite-size ice cream treats – my DD Aly and I just finished off a container of cookies n’ cream ones – yum! (Disclaimer: it’s hard to stop eating ’em!)
Thanks for all the inspiration through your blog!!

  24. Hmmm…ice cream! I love Cold Stone Creamery’s Mud Pie Mojo – coffee ice cream, Oreos, peanut butter, roasted almonds and fudge. Yum! A cute movie to watch with the girls would be Enchanted. Colin may still like it too though. Have a wonderful day!

  25. Hmmm…something good? How about one of my all time fave chick flicks…How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days…if you haven’t seen it, you will love it! Thanks for the chance at a giveaway! Your blog is awesome!

  26. One of my favorite things is NPR – National Public Radio. I’m not sure what station would carry it in your area but it is definitely worth checking out if you have not already. It is always on in my car. They have the best news and stories and you can listen to it with the kids in the car without worrying that they will hear something that they shouldn’t. BTW…Love your blog!!

  27. How about a movie to rent? “Anna and the King” with Jodie Foster is superb, one of my favorite movies of all time. The movie handles difficult themes with such class, you can even watch it with the kids!

  28. oh it’s back to school …. I love love love my summertime with the kiddos and family …. but I also so love the back-to-school bargains, supplies, clothes …. being a teacher !!! and a mom, it’s fun ~ another season!!! I so hope I win something … I’ve never ever won anything ever!! but I know, if it is meant to be …it will be. have a great weekend. m

  29. Hi Jennifer my favourite thing today was my daughter and grandchildren bought me some stamps when they went on a trip to U.S.A and kids picked out an ice cream cone stamp which they know i would decorate it to death and use it on cards for their friends i have got them interested in making cards now.

  30. I also suggest the Olympics (go Phelps!) and a big ole dish of Umpqua ice cream. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Yellow Brickle Road Ben and Jerry’s ice cream (it has peanut butter cookie dough in it!). I also enjoy the Olympics while sipping on a big ole Vanilla Dr. Pepper from Sonic.

  31. I recommend the movie “WALL-E”…we went as a family (boys 6 & 9 years), but we all loved it! …as far as a yummy treat, have you had a good old fashioned Root Beer Float yet this summer? We went to an Air Show today and I had one…brought back memories of A&W after swimming lessons as a kid! MMmmm!

  32. Well, since I’m eating Blue Bell Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream as I type this….I will recommend it as the best late night treat!!!! Of course, I live in Texas so getting Blue Bell ice cream in no problem for me:-)

  33. I thought I would recommend a book for you, well, your kids anyway. It is called, “A Stranger in the Woods” and it is marvelous. I love the nature photography and the entertaining yet informative story about a baby deer. If you love nature, you will surely love this book!

  34. For a great dessert, take an Oreo pie crust, fill w/ your fav ice cream, top w/ Hershey’s Hot Fudge. I let the ice cream soften before smooshing it into the pie crust! Easy as pie, but everyone always raves about it! Top w/ whip cream!

  35. I can’t suggest you American food, American movies and so on….but….may I suggest you a trip to Italy? πŸ˜‰
    Hugs
