Just Some Updates

Hello! Just have a few updates for you.

EMAIL UPDATES

I recently updated my blog subscription service. It turns out the old one wasn’t reliable and many of you were not receiving my email updates. If you were already signed up before, you are set with my new service as we transferred everyone over. If you haven’t already subscribed, you can do so HERE. Thanks!

INTERVIEW

Recently I was interviewed by my dear  friend Megan. You can read it HERE. I talk about everything from watercolor to finding balance to searching for inspiration. (And if you are needing some assistance falling asleep, this may do the trick. I am really not that exciting. Ha.)

NEW HERO ARTS

Many people have been asking about when the new Hero Arts products would be available. Ellen Hutson has some of them in stock HERE. A few of my favorites? The Hello Sunshine Daisies, Flower Garden and Shoot for the Moon.

See you soon!

  1. Thanks for letting us know about the Hero Arts stamps being available at Ellen Hutson – just put a big order in – can’t wait to get some of the new flower stamps! And I loved the interview, by the way! ♥

  2. Very nice interview. One of the things I appreciate about your blog/instagram/twitter is that you are honest about your life/balance. As another stepmom, I very much appreciate it! And your teaching style…I’ve had the honor of taking stamping classes from you in person and I follow your youtube channel (and recommend it), because you are so easy to learn from. Guess I’m just saying thank you. =)

  3. And here I thought I was losing my mind and missing your posts. Been having this problem with other bloggers as well. Glad to know that everything should be back in order now. Hate missing your posts!

  4. What a great interview! There is nothing boring about someone who manages to be a full time Mom and an awesome crafter, and be hugely successful at both of them! I have learned so much from you and eagerly look forward to each blog post and each OCC class. A big thank you for all the information, instruction, reviews, videos and ideas!

  5. I read the interview a couple of days ago and left a comment there. I really appreciate that you are open and are willing to share! In my line of work where things are fast-paced, taken too seriously, constant deadlines…everyone tends to be in competition with one another and there are a lot of arrogant attitudes and non-sharing going on. So, it is a relief to have a artistic outlet in making cards. I love getting to learn new things from people who also love it and want to share. You came to Angela’s Happy Stamper about four years ago and taught, but back then I had just started making cards and going to the store and did not know who you were…and sadly missed out on your classes. Ha!, I remember that people were talking about taking your class and they couldn’t believe that I didn’t know who you were. Anyway, have a great Sunday!

  6. I have learned SO much from you. Thank you. Can’t wait to see what you do with the “shoot for the moon” set.

  7. Fabulous interview Jennifer! I appreciate your candidness and you are truly an amazing teacher. As a mom of 4 and stepmom to one more, I can very much relate to the balancing act. I am also a principal and work long hours, but like you I choose to work when others read or watch tv. When I can work in some crafty time, you are my one go to as your instruction is so clear and easy to follow. I love organization and have been truly appreciative of all the tips you share. Thank you for your generosity and for the peek into your world. You have a very beautiful family and I love your new craft room. You are far too humble and it is ok to “Celebrate” how great you are every once in awhile. 🙂

  8. Oh Thank You….Thank You….I thought you had stopped sending e-mails. I had a hard time with that, but now all is back to normal. Thanks again and again for all you do for us crafters! Hugs and Blessings to you and your wonderful familyl.

  9. Great interview! You are not at all boring! It was nice to get a glimpse of your busy life. I remember those days; I also have four kids, 28 through 35 now, but sometimes I miss the time when they were growing up. It wasn’t always easy and I admire you for not pretending that it’s a piece of cake.
I can’t wait until the Simon Says CREATE event! I’m so excited to be taking a class from you!
Now I’m going to check out Hero Arts at Ellen Hutson. Thanks!

  10. Wow I just scanned through your blog and found at least 6 posts I never got! Thanks for changing your service.

  11. Another “easy-to-do” but oh-so-pretty card, Jennifer. I love seeing your creative process–the first sentiment didn’t pop enough, so you changed the colour, but then decided to add some gold after all. It’s nice to see that it IS a process–all those wonderful ideas don’t just pop into your head, fully-formed! Gives the rest of us hope… ;P

  12. Loved the interview, I’m glad that I adore following a truly nice person! Also thrilled that you changed your blogging service, you had me worried. I thought you stopped blogging!!!!!!! Happy to be getting your instruction/inspiration again!

  13. I think the fact that you don’t really know how great you are is part of what makes you so great 🙂 Enjoyed the interview and love when women strive to bring other women up and encourage with the truth. I sometimes get flack from friends about how I ‘find the time’ to have a hobby or exercise and it’s the same response–we all make choices about how we spend our days and what we make time to do. Grateful to have a hobby I enjoy and people like you to help keep me motivated and inspired!

  14. No way would I fall asleep reading about you!! That interview was great. I can’t wait to see more of your studio and your fantastic ideas. I hope you have a buying guide- I love the lighting fixtures in your studio plus I can’t wait to see the vagabond closet……..
