  1. Becky Smith says:

I do like distress inks a lot. For black, I’ve used Ranger archival or Versafine Onyx for years, but I may give the Altenew a try.

  2. As a new stamper that I am, I am just learning about all the inks! Thank you for teaching me what all the inks do & the differences. But for right now I think the Versa Mark ink is my favorite! I learn so much from all your videos!

  3. Cyndi Morris says:

Thanks for those recommendations. I’ve been wanting some Gina K inks for a long time — maybe it’s time to use your discount code and buy some. I did buy some Altenew cubes recently and I really like those. However, of the inks I have, the most used are Versamark, Versafine black, and Distress Oxides.

  4. Avra N Williams says:

Catherine Pooler inks are the only dye inks I have the full set of – I would say they’re my favorite. I also have a full set of Distress Inks, most of the Distress Oxides, and most of the Gina K cube colors, all of which I love.

  5. KCurphey says:

My favourite inks are Distress Inks and Distress Oxides. I’m a huge fan of all the techniques that can be done with them 😃

  6. Mindy Hook says:

I love the Distress Oxide inks for backgrounds and techniques. For colored inks, Taylored Expressions inks are my favorites because there are so many great colors and they blend together like a dream.

  7. Deborah S Knapp says:

I like Taylor Expression, Hero Arts, Simon Says, and the Distress inks. I am hoping to add Gina’s to my collection. I do have her black inks and yes a great stamped image! Thanks for the videos, they are so helpful!!

  8. Lisa Sabo says:

Gina K amalgam ink has been a game changer! It’s my go to now for black ink especially since I am not always sure where my project will take me. This ink let’s my creative side shine. I’m going to add the grey to my collection after watching your video.

  9. Beth says:

My desert island inks are Distress Oxides. And I couldn’t live without Versamark. Another ink is Impression Obsessions – iostamps.com Since most dye inks are the same, even made by the same manufacturer, it’s not that they’re so different, and the owner comes right out and says that. It’s that they come in light-to-dark versions of a color and have filled in color gaps for me.

  10. Lisa Rogers says:

Gina K has my favorite inks!!! Love ‘em❣️

  11. Gabriella Bell says:

Hard to pick a favorite but I use my Hero Arts and Lawn Fawn inks the most.

  12. Germaine says:

My favorite is Gina K Obsidian ink, because it allows my to stamp and then color anyway I like. Thanks, Jennifer, for recommending it!

  13. Julie L says:

I use Versamark for embossing, VersaFine (black) for sentiments, Memento for alcohol markers and watercolor, Staz On for inking on slick backgrounds, Distress inks for blending and techniques (since I own 30 colors and the reinkers) and Distress oxides if I need to layer opaque colors (only own 8 colors). Most of my pads (from a variety of companies) are 10-15 years old and work fine.

  14. Cyndie1224 says:

Love the Gina K obsidian black ink!

  15. Tona says:

I use distress inks a lot as well as Gina K & versafine Claire.

  16. Lori Zielinski says:

I love the Distress Oxide and Hero Arts inks and use Versamark all the time. Thank you for the awesome video!

  17. karenladd says:

My go-to ink when I want to color with alcohol markers is Momenta black ink, and Versafine for heat embossing.

  18. Darlene Fay says:

Choosing inks to use has been mind-boggling. Your videos (and I watched them more than once) helped to clear up some of the confusion I had. I like to do copic, colored pencil, distress ink and watercolor. I have a better understanding of the different ink types. I’m glad that I won’t have to invest a ton of money to be able to support my habit. Thanks.

  19. SHartl says:

My favorite inks are Stampin’ Up and Distress inks. I don’t do a lot of coloring so the Stampin’ Up inks are great for simple and solid shapes, and sentiments. Thanks for the reviews Jennifer!

  20. Kailash says:

I absolutely love my distress inks!

  21. Cathy B says:

As a card maker on a tight budget, I usually use the Momento black and the small colors in the tear drop shape that I bought years ago. I am big on monochromatic cards with layering stamps and would love to try the Altenew and Pinkfresh cubes in color families. Thanks for all your videos. It really helps me make good decisions when I do have a bit of money to spend. Now, if local stores would only carry the Neenah cardstock, instead of having to order it online – I would be a happy stamper!

  22. Annette Reed says:

I don’t have most of the ink brands that you use, so I don’t know the quality of them. I do love Altenew inks for the fact that they offer coordinating colors for all of their fabulous layering stamps. I have Distress inks, but not the oxides. I’ve never seen the oxides in person to see the difference for myself. I use Stampin Up inks a lot. The pads have a lot of ink so I always get good stamp coverage. I also like how their colors match the cardstock and markers. I like to use matching inks.

  23. JenB says:

I use amalgam ink for general stamping. Thanks for all your fabulous videos!

  24. Debra Clark says:

I use the Memento Ink all the time. I really like it for the alcohol markers.

  25. FeM says:

I use versafine and would.like to try GinaK. I like the distress.inks.and oxides as well.

  26. Droopysmom says:

My Momento Tuxedo Black and Versafine clear are my 2 most used.

  32. Shelli Royer says:

Versa Mark for sure is the one I use the most on a consistent basis. Do love the unique qualities of Distress Oxides, they are fun to play with and get inky for certain! Love your Favorite Things video’s Jennifer!

  33. Dawn says:

I’m new to the stamping thing and haven’t tried many but I love the Momento inks.

  34. Vanna says:

I love the Gina K Design inks. I have almost all her ink pads and matching cardstocks. Although, I just recently bought Pinkfresh ink pads. I can’t wait to play with these new inks.

  35. Kim Salito says:

Your videos are so informative. I never new the quality of paper made a difference with my stamps. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

  38. jenny N says:

  45. Pat McMahon says:

I really like VersaFine ink and just ordered the Obsidian ink from Gina K.

  46. Hi Jennifer, my favorite ink is the Gina K. Obsidian black amalgam ink. It’s so universal that I can use it as is, emboss with it or use copic markers. I really appreciate your recommendations in all your videos.

  47. Steffi H. says:

I like the ombre tones ink cubes, great for layering effects.

  48. Cheryl says:
