Let’s get started with stamps…

SENTIMENT STAMPS

The most important element on any card is the sentiment. Therefore a good collection of greeting stamps is helpful! Here are a few that won me over this year:

BACKGROUND STAMPS

Background stamps are so very versatile and great for techniques. Check out these great options:

LAYERING STAMPS

I am so glad many companies are continuing to develop stamps that layer or build on each other. By stamping images together and/or layered, you can easily get results that look dimensional and realistic. These are good ones to try:

COMBOS

We can’t leave stamp-and-die combos off the list! Try these:

ENVELOPE STAMPS

After putting so much love into a handmade card, it is always fun to decorate the envelope, too. Here are a few sets perfect for that:

OTHER MUST-HAVES STAMPS

And finally, here are a few other must-have stamps that have won me over and I think you will like too…

If you are looking for the card examples I shared in this video, you can enter the product name in the “search” bar at the top of my blog and you will find them!

  6. Thank you for being so generous with all your knowledge and skills. It’s been such an amazing learning experience for me. My favorite of these stamps would be the clearly besotted from all of us set.

  7. Wowzers!! So much good information – Thank you so much. I always have a hard time finding sentiments and sympathy sets. LOVE your thoughts on the different companies. I have been almost exclusive to Gina K, who mentioned your blog in a recent tutorial. This give me confidence to try some of the other companies.

  8. I really love the postcard and plenty blooms background stamp. These just open up the possibilities for sending special gifts in the mail.

  9. So very few of these sets are available in South Africa, but thanks to your videos Jennifer, the horizon is shifted to what’s available on the other side of the world! Concord & 9th Perfectly Penned and Mama Elephant Meowy Woofmas would surely create some loveliness…

  10. The Technique Tuesday Snail Mail stamp would probably the most useful, as practically every card goes in an envelope. It is my favourite because the sentiments echo the care and thought that has gone into crafting for someone. Could even bring a smile to a foot-sore postie.

  11. Too many to list!!! But if I had to pick one it would be the Honey Bee Thanks and Giving stamps it is so useful for everything!!

  12. I want them all!!!! I love all the sentiment sets, especially MFT All Occasion Sentiments Stamps. And the layering stamps… and the monsters ;-)!!! Thanks, Jennifer. You’re always an inspiration.

  13. I love the monochromatic ombre cards you show when you’re discussing some of the stamps, such as the Hero Arts Dot Moire background stamp. Do you have any videos showing how you did those cards? They’re so nice and clean and beautiful.
    Thanks
    Ariel

  14. Jennifer, I am curious about keeping track of stamp sets you already have to avoid buying duplicates. Is there some kind of inventory system or AP that you use that lets you keep track of what you already own?

  15. I am a Lawn Fawn fan for sure. And I love the Simon Says storage pockets. You taught me how to store my stamps and dies.
