  3. JanieT says:

I don’t think I have one favorite ink. I love Distress, Hero Arts, Altenew

  4. Sue McW says:

Another very informative and helpful video. Thanks for sharing. I have different favorite inks depending on what I’m doing, but I particularly like MFT’s dye inks. Many of the brands on your video I have not tried so I think I need to invest in a few new ones.

  5. Titta says:

I can’t pick a favorite color ink line, so I’m going to say Versamark because it’s an absolute must have.

  6. Karen M. says:

Distress Inks are my favorite – Ranger Dye Inks and Hero Arts and……they are all wonderful.

  7. Robyn I says:

My favorite black ink is Versafine onyx black, and I have recently been loving the Altenew inks — such great color combos make it easy to layer!

  8. eliza d says:

My favorite ink is Versafine black…very boring but very versatile. I use it a LOT.

  9. Mary Holshouser says:

I use Stampin’ Up. Mostly because I’m a demonstrator.
then I go with the Tim Holtz inks.
    thanks for the comparisons.

Versafine is a must for the craftroom – I reach for it a lot. And then I love, love, love playing with distress inks! Thank you for introducing me to the Delicata Shimmer Pigment Inks – something to conquer in the new year 🙂

  11. Tina H says:

Thank you for sharing!! I love Memento inks for copics and SSS black intense for watercoloring!

  12. Super Stick Chick says:

Thanks for all the valuable information. It is very helpful.

  13. Kathy Cresswell says:

I have Tim Holtz Distress & Memento Dew Drop inks. I bought them when I started making cards because I liked the smaller sizes and I could get more colors. The big craft stores in our area (JoAnn’s, AC Moore and Michael’s) carry these brands, but there are no non-chain craft shops in the area, so I have no idea what else is available until/unless I see them mentioned in YouTube tutorials/videos by you and other crafters. I was very surprised in your video to see that Gink K. has mini ink pads also, and I’m anxious to try those! I’ve seen the larger Gina K. ink pads and they come in such beautiful colors!

  14. Lavonne says:

I really like my distress inks. I use them quite a bit for pretty much anything. As for my black ink, the one I reach for is the Versafine onyx black ink. Thanks for another very informative video. I would love to try some of the other inks that you mentioned. Unfortunately, I either have to drive over an hour away to get them or order online. My craft budget is rather small. Oh well. Thanks again for all the work you do for us. I really appreciate it.

  15. Martina says:

My favorite inks are the Distress inks mini, the black ink I use is Archival jet black. For alcohol markers is Memento the one I use.

  16. Janet Trapp says:

I love all the inks mentioned but have not tried Gina K or MFT dye inks yet… Thanks for the chance to win!
    God bless

  17. Pat Ackley says:

I would really like to try Altenew dye inks and also the Wplus9 inks. I mostly use PTI and Hero Arts inks.

  18. SarahC says:

Thnaks for the information on differences and uses. I had forgotten which ones were made by the same basic group so I have rmembered to take notes this year. Like your dot idea also since the saves time when looking at the sides of pads. Thanks so much for taking the time to make these videos, ecspecially now at this busy time of year. God bless you and yours.

  19. Louanne Collins says:

The Delicata inks are so yummy! I mistakenly played with the gold and silver pads while watercoloring a project and just loved the outcome! It is too hard to pick a favorite because you have your favorite brands for different uses — although one can never have enough ink just like one can never have enough shoes!

  20. Laura L Tuck says:

My favs are HA, SSS and MFT. I just got the Delicata gold and silver but the white looks amazing! I have mostly ink cubes for space saving and price and the distress ink tins are so wonderful for storing them all.

  21. CathyL says:

    Love, love, love distress inks!

  22. Becka says:

Good review. Thanks. I like Ranger distress inks when blending. The ink moves with such ease.

  23. Keri Dixon says:

My favorite Inks are the distress inks! lol i know they arent good for stamping, but the colors and techniques are to die for!

  24. Jessica Haines says:

I use distress ink and Stampin up inks

  25. Gail Anderson says:

My favorite inks are the Hero Arts Shadow Inks, the Distress Inks, and WaterMark. However, I have a wide variety of brands and colors in my stash, and usually go by which one(s) match what I’m doing. I love the result I get from VersaFine; but I’m like you, I get it all over me and often smear it. Thanks for the video.

  26. Janie says:

Hi Jennifer, My favorite ink depends on what I am needing it to do for me. Loaded question LOL…so I will choose one for using to stamp small detailed delicate sentiments for example. I would choose VersaFine ink to get a crisp clear image. I don’t have a huge amount of inks, but I do have a wide variety of brands. So of them I love best my HeroArts dye inks, Ranger Dye and Distress. I am fixing to try Gina K and grab some of her matching paper. And I know it will make me happy!!

  27. Deonna Hotovec says:

So very helpful. Now what will I tell Santa!

  28. DjDoss says:

Oh my, how to choose a “favorite” ink. I guess I always go back to StazOn for pernamence and Distress Inks or Colorbox/Clearsnap petal points for slow drying colors, they have a great range of colors and both so different from each other. Of course I love my VersaMark clear embossing pad for colorful embossing projects. Thanks for sharing. I’m loving your favorite things videos!

  29. Allison G. says:

My favorite ink is any one that works well for what I’m using it for

  30. Michele says:

I have several ink pads that I use a lot Gina K and altenew.

  31. Nena Micinovac says:

Distress inks for sure! and HA with some SSS Thank you Jennifer!

  32. Angie G. says:

I am in serious need of ink pads and I am so indecisive about it lol. I want cubes with reinkers and with mid to light range colors. I think to create a swatch book and see what I have already. Thanks again for the information and giveaway!

  33. Nancy Walker says:

My favorite ink happens to be Ranger Archival, and I use the Black most often with stamps I plan to color in with waterbased inks or media. It also helps preserve your stamps by applying it and letting it dry, then wiping it only with a damp cloth to clean the stamp. See Tim Holtz’s tip on this in his first Creative Chemistry class! It really works! Another favorite color of Archival is Vermillion. It is my “go-to” color for a rich red. Makes mt mouth water!

  34. Donna Gourley says:

My go-to ink is usually Archival Ink-Jet Black. I like the giant sized pad…it stays on my stamping desk 24/7. I do love the My Favorite Things black for Copic use however. Thanks for today’s info.

  35. Ckneuendorf says:

Thank you for another informative video. I love my Distress Inks. I also mainly use dye inks and have been for 15 years so need to replace some of the oldies. I want to add inks for color shading with layered stamping so found this helpful; as you always are! ❤️

  36. Paula Houpt says:

I am new to stamping. I absolutely love to watch your videos and learn from them. Thank you for sharing your passion. You truly are an inspiration. I can only get supplies a little at a time being on a fixed income. Your guidance helps me to learn how to use what I have along with helping me to decide which products I may want to consider for future investment.

  37. Di Wong says:

My basic black ink go-to has been Ranger Archival. However, I have a small Hero Arts cube that came in a kit that I really like, I may be switching over.
Thanks for all of your recommendations!

  38. smlittler says:

I love my versamark ink pad and my versafine black onyx ink pad. Can’t wait to stock up on some good dye inks.

  39. Johnelle Winter says:

I can’t wait to try the Delicata White Shimmer Ink…..so cool!

  40. Michelle says:

Once again another great video. Thanks SO much! I would have to say that I really like the Delicata White Shimmer. I saw when you used it on your nativity card and I really like it! Thanks again for all of your amazing videos!

  41. Gabriella B says:

    I love my altenew inks

  42. Laurie B. says:

I like my lawn Fawn inks and my Simon inks!! Thanks for the video.

  43. MoJo says:

I use my black ink the most and my favorite black is a Memento Tuxedo Black. My second favorite would be my Tim Holtz Distress inks that I use to make backgrounds.

  44. Candy Boothby says:

My favorite ink is Versafine Oynx Black. I use it for everything and I’ve had the pad for over ten years and have never reinked it!

  45. Toni Gillette says:

I finally broke down and bought SSS Intense Black (just because I always try new inks out in black first and I have so many) but it is now my favorite go to black! Especially for Copics. Distress inks are a staple of course. I am wanting to try the MFT Hybrid, have dyes and love them. Also, I have never tried the WPlus9 and have been wanting to get the Fairy Dust. I just have been getting the small cubes now and they don’t come that way. I love the Tim Holtz tin for storing inks in. Thanks for all your wonderful info!

  46. Sandy says:

I’m thoroughly addicted to Distress Ink. I don’t have every color (yet), but I use them for so many different techniques, and they always look beautiful. Thanks for a chance to win.

  47. Dacia says:

I guess Distress Inks are my favorite since those are what I have the most. The colors are so yummy. I am looking to beef up my non-water reactive inks so it was really nice to have you compare the dye inks. I, too, am not a fan of black pigment ink due to the mess and, of course, that is what I have. The thing is so juicy I don’t know if I’ll ever use it up. But hey, I’d rather have it than not!! Thanks so much for these videos; they really help me get the most out of my art supply budget.

  48. Tammy B says:

I mostly use Stampin’ Up ink but I don’t like the new ink pads they have now. I have some distress inks but I haven’t had a chance to really play with them yet. Thanks for another great video!

  49. Jennifer K says:

Really great and informative ink video Jennifer, thank you! My favourite inks are the Altenew inks, they have gorgeous colours and they make it so easy to see what inks work well together with their 4 packs.

  50. craftysuz says:

I learn so much about ink from you.
The most used ones in my stash are:
versafine black, versamark, Heidi Swapp Navy (best navy ever), Lawn Fawn Hippo (love that grey) and my distress cubes. I’m buying more colors of dye ink for projects they are great.
