I am just getting into coloring, and enjoy using colored pencils. I have an inexpensive set made by CraZart, and they actually work really well for a beginner. I am learning ways to blend, and it’s fun. I am very tempted to try the tombow markers. They sound like a lot of fun!

My favorite coloring method is watercolor because it’s forgiving and quick, although if I had more money and was better at it, I’d probably like Copics best.

Thanks again for a great video. I have had my Tombow’s for years and they still work great. However my new favorite is Copics. Your videos have so much information. I have blender pens but I did not know you could refill them. Have a great day.

  24. Jean M. Ward says:

I usually use my inks on my blocks, like you did in your video. When coloring adult coloring books, I use my gel pens which are both glitter and matte. I absolutely love your videos. Keep them coming! Happy Thanksgiving Jennifer and family!

My favorite is the Copics, then I like the colored pencils. I haven’t done much with the water coloring but think it’s something I’d like to try…have watched plenty of videos on it. 36. Phyllis says:

Hi, Your videos are the best. I use colored pencils and water color pencils a lot but starting to use Copics. Phyllis

  37. Melissa says:

I was one of those kids who could not color well with crayons. As an adult, I’ve had multiple coloring issues with various coloring mediums. And then a friend let me try her Copic markers. I was hooked. Copic are costly, but they are the only coloring medium that I’ve had consistently good luck using. That said, I would like to try Faber-Castell polychromos (non wax-based) coloring pencils.

  38. Carey Nusbaum says:

Thanks for the informative video and for the opportunity to win!

  39. Jen Hayes says:

I’m limited on my coloring mediums, but I use what Prismacolor pencils I have and Distress Ink and markers. I think that this year I would like to branch out to include another style of marker…..thanks for your video, it will help me with my decision! Such a generous chance at the giveaway! Thanks to everyone involved.

  40. Thanks for the great video. I have been thinking of getting some marker and this info is most welcome. I love water coloring and my all time favorite medium is distress inks. I have been collecting the minis for some time and have almost the entire set.

  41. Clara Timmons says:

I shared a few Copic markers with my daughter, but don’t know how to use it well yet (not good at colouring at all), so my favorite colouring method is using distress inks, as I like they blend together. 🙂 thanks!!!

  42. Judy Ferrell says:

I just got zig real clean brush markers and I am working to get better with them.

  44. Mendy Crumpton says:

Well because of this video I now own way to many of those things you used. 🙂 I had most of them but had to add what I didn’t. I now will own the Tombow markers. I have some from WAY back and believe it or not they have stayed wet. I have the copic, distress markers, zig, watercolor paints, watercolor pencils, SU markers. I love them all for different things. Guess I use the Copic more than anything but am still learning on them. I also have the chameleon but am not loving those to much. Thanks for all the great videos and ideas even though I don’t need to see all that fun stuff.

  45. Liz Shultz says:

Thank you for another great video! My favourite for colouring is copic markers.

Copics and prisma colored pencils are my fav! I really love the Kurtake water brush pens but don’t have a large enough collection to utilize them.

  47. Jeanne mason says:

My favorite things would have to be the sparkle pens. It would be fun to add some shine to my projects

  48. Rissa says:

Another great video! Also, it was really nice to see the wink of stella and the spectrum noir comparison! I really like copics but am definately still learning with them. I also love my zig clean color brush pens and will have to get some of that Bristol paper to work with them on!

  49. Carol Khoo says:

I also like colouring with coloured pencils. Water colours are too intimidating for me.

  50. Really helpful, Jennifer … what a great video, thank you! I enjoy my Zigs … they’re so easy to use and create great results, even for a novice! Anita 🙂
