My Favorite Crafty Things 2015: INKS + Giveaway

Hello and welcome back to My Favorite Crafty Things 2015.

This series will cover lots of crafting topics with videos. I have a lot to share, including big giveaways (see below) and even store discounts:

  • Simon Says Stamps is offering my readers 10% off site-wide using the code “JenCrafty” from 12/1/15 until 11:59pmEST on 12/15/15.
  • Ellen Hutson is offering my readers 10% off site-wide using the code “jensfaves” from 12/1/15 until 11:59pmEST on 12/12/15.
  • As you are shopping, please keep in mind that these stores and many of the stamp manufacturers had HUGE sales last week so inventory may be low. Please know that they have already placed re-orders!

Today’s video is focused on inks.

Again – please know that you do NOT need a lot of inks! I share many here so maybe you can determine which is best for you. You really only need a handful in the colors you like.

Remember – this list of Favorite Crafty Things may also be used as a gift guide. Feel free to give this link to a loved one… maybe they will take the hint. 😉

You can keep up to date on all the topics HERE… and for my lists from 2014, click HERE.

My favorite ink is Versamark just because I know what to use it for. Your video was especially helpful for me as I find using different brand inkpads is confusing. I will also watch the video you made last year for more clarification. Thank you Jennifer!

My favorite inks are still Distress Ink, even after trying several other brands . . . but I am always willing to experiment (i.e., play) with something new. Thanks for the chance to win!

  20. Bobbie Bluegill says:

I’m still using my Ranger Adirondack ink pads, most of which I purchased a dozen years ago. I have reinkers for all of them and really hate to think about changing both ink pads and reinker. Is there a shelf life for the ink if it is kept out of the sun?
I also have several distress mini ink pads. I travel with my ink and love the small size but I don’t like distress for detailed stamps, especially words. The ink just isn’t sharp edged, it bleeds a little. Great for blending, not for details.

Your videos are the very greatest and how I would love to try the Altenew ink pads.

  21. Glenda Lee Nutting says:

Distress inks, Versifine, and the Avery Elle pigment inks.
