  1. My tip it to write a heartfelt message on the inside of the card because no matter what the outside looks like, the message will warm someone’s heart and be appreciated for its thoughtfulness!

  2. Your product tips have helped me the most. I have seen such a difference in quality based on certain products. It makes all the difference, so thank you and merry christmas!!

  3. My favorite tip is to be OK with the card you made. even if I don’t particularly like a card, other people will often pick that one up and say, “Oh, I really like this one” My taste is different from other people’s and that’s OK.

  4. My favorite card making tip – watch an inspiring video to get your mojo going, then try to use some new techniques!

  5. I really liked the way you used the post it to hold the sentiment in place while adding adhesive and then transferring it to the card. So simple and clever!

  6. Thanks for another fab review! I like to keep a rubber cement eraser on hand to easily pick up any adhesive that’s stuck to the edges of my die cuts.

  7. My favorite cardmaking tip is that I buy the small 6X6 paper pads for card making. I prefer the double sided papers also. The papers all coordinate, and I don’t even need to think about what will go together. They are a heavy enough weight that they work well with my silhouette, and I just love them. I can cut out of 4 papers at once on the mat, and can have 4 cards ready to go in minutes. The sad thing is that it took me nearly 4 years to figure it out. 🙂

  8. I have a wood cart with 7 drawers and roller feet that I use for my “always need toys”. I can take it to another room, or put it in the car and take it with me when I teach card making.

  9. It is so nice to see products repeated as your favorite. That means that more and more quality products are being produced. Yay for us

  10. I don’t have a favorite cardmaking tip because I’m still learning how to make cards. But I so often forget to use my anti-static powder before heat embossing, so maybe that’s my favorite tip. It makes such a big difference.

  11. I have two card making tips to share. The first is to always make sure everything on the inside of the card is as finished as the outside. Sometimes I spend a lot of time on the outside of a card only to leave the inside blank. Make sure to embellish inside too! Second, remember not to get cards too thick for mailing. Sometimes my embellishments, bows, and glitterati make it REALLY hard for the post office to deliver my card to the intended. Happy decorating!

  12. Best tip I could give someone? To learn about the different inks and how they work. I didn’t understand that distress inks were really for techniques and tried to stamp with them. Luckily I found out my error and bought the right types of inks for what I wanted to do. Next, paper really matters! Spend a little more to get quality recommended paper or I’m just disappointed in results.
