Hello. Today’s video is an update for fine-tip, no-clog, adhesive solutions.

My two favorite adhesives are Ranger’s Glossy Accents and Multi Medium Matte. Glossy Accents is a clear, strong adhesive that I like to put on top of embellishments for some shine. Multi Medium Matte is a very strong adhesive that dries matte. However, I find that changing out the tips of these bottles gives a better application and prevents them from clogging. I had done a video on this awhile back but wanted to update it as I get a lot of emails asking if these solutions still work.

For small bottles (such as the Mini Glossy Accents and Multi Medium Matte), I like to take the nozzle off with pliers and replace it with the Quilled Creations fine-tip nozzle. When placing the cap back on, press lightly. Pushing too hard may result in getting it stuck or damaging the needle. Also, I’ve found that the connector piece can come off, which I don’t mind at all, but it’s a personal preference.

For large bottles (such as the large Glossy Accents), I remove the nozzle with pliers and replace it with the Scraperfect No-Clog Writing Cap. I suggest wiping the tip off of glossy accents before placing the cap back on. I really like that the needle in the cap prevents clogging.

Another solution that is cost effective is placing a plastic hang tie (off of clothing) inside the applicator. No need for the cap and it prevents clogging as well.

There are many options out there (trust me – I think I tried them all!), but these have worked the best for me. Hopefully, one of these will work for you too!

  13. Cheri Hochstettler says:

Thanks for your tips. I don’t have a favorite liquid adhesive because they all seem to clog so I usually use my atg gun. I will try the precision tip as that seems like it would make me like liquid adhesive better.

  14. Maxine D says:

Glossy accents, but up until now I have struggled with the manufacturers tip – if nothing else I will try the plastic hang tag!!
Thanks for the video and the hang tag tip.
    Blessings

  19. Regan says:

Glossy Accents. I have a new bottle that I have not opened up for fear of it clogging! I will try the hang tag method until I get around to purchasing the ‘No-Clog’ cap.

  20. Gail Plaskiewicz says:

I love any adhesive that sticks and sticks for a very long time, since I make and sell cards and stamp on clothing, purses, etc. I need something that really works and my faves are anything by Aileen’s. They used to have their own show on TV at one time and I loved it! To bad it isn’t on anymore. Anyway, they have glue for absolutely everything you could ever need glue for including fabric and it is the best glue on the market! If they don’t have what you need glue for, then nobody makes it! I highly recommend it. Hey, do you think they would give me a job? LOL

  21. Cheryl L says:

I like glossy accents best…because it works on top of images and is strong for below images.

  22. Steffi Broocks says:

Couldn’t get by without either of these products…I really need to try the no clog tops. The large bottle of glossy accents is continually clogging up. Thanks so much for the great suggestions!

  24. Freddi says:

I missed the previous video on these products. I so need this. I keep a straight pin in my glossy accents but it gets yucky. My favorite adhesive is a toss up between glossy accents and mat medium. Thanks for the chance to win.

  25. DonnaC says:

  28. Heather Loughlin says:

Currently my favorite liquid adhesive is the Tombo Mono Multi, but I’m really looking forward to trying Glossy Accents & Multi Matte. I’m also very interested in the nozzles. I’ve tried the Best Cleaner Ever, also by Scraptastic, & it cleaned a stamp that nothing else in my arsenal could touch. TFS!

  29. Rufus says:

I love Glossy Accents, haven’t tried Multi Matte Medium yet…but I also like the Scotch liquid glue, but it’s getting hard to find. Would love to try the tips and the multi medium, since my glossy Accents is ALWAYS clogging, that’s the only thing I don’t like about it!
Thanks for all your inspiration and suggestions and for the chance to win.

  30. Roni says:

I have used Glossy Accents for years and have struggled with this problem. I have ruined a few with rusty pins as well-

  31. mary d says:

I like Glossy Accents best, but I’ve tried the nylon price tag and the needle tip and both times the liquid dried and crystallized. It’s very frustrating…

  32. Lynn Fletcher says:

My favorite liquid adhesive is the TomBow Multipurpose glue. I have wanted to try the Ranger Glossy Accents and the Multi Matte Finish glues, but have never seen it here. I really think those Quilled Tip Bottles would be great for putting on small things like sequins and for hard to get places with glue.

  33. Glossy Accents is my go to liquid adhesive. I also like to use Multi Matte medium for adhering sequins. thanks so much for this great video and giveaway.

  34. Lola Fields says:

Love this ideas! I have fought this for years. I have always just stored upside down. I use glossy accents. I’ll have to try the multi medium matte.

  41. Yvonne D. says:

my favorite is tombow. for bigger or heavier things i like to use glossy accents sometimes too. THanks for a chance to win! <3

  42. It would have to be the Multi Matte Medium. After seeing Kristina and yourself using it so much, I gave it a go and its just as good as you say. One of those tips would be so handy, especially for gluing inbetween sandwiched layers. Thanks so much for the chance to win!!

  43. Janet DeLong says:

Darice Easy Flow glue is what I use. I was introduced to it a few years ago. It is the best I have come across. I use a fine tip smaller bottle and have to unclog with a safety pin quite often but the glue is so great I tolerate the clogging. I really need the nozzle tips. Thank you for all that you share, I just finished organizing my many, many thin metal dies somewhat like you and love it. Please continue to share with the rest of us crafters.

  44. Teresa says:

I like glossy accents. It is a great adhesive and it adds shine and texture. It takes a plain embellishment to the next level. I have a big bottle and use it all the time. Thank you for an opportunity to win. I appreciate all your great advise and inspiration. Your videos are the best.

  45. Jennifer L. says:

My favorite adhesive is the multi medium matte. Adheres so well and not so noticeable if you get a bit much. Thanks for the very informative video and the chance to win!

  46. Justin W. says:

I have been loving using the Multi Medium Matte for everything. Anything that I would use liquid adhesive for, I use that. I use the Glossy Accents mostly to add special touches on embellishments, but not really as a glue. It DOES work, but because of what it’s really made for, the glossiness, I don’t really use it. So, definitely the MMM! 🙂

  47. Sandra Schroeder says:

I use Tombo momo-multi for most of my paper projects. I also use glossy accents and Beacon fabri-tac for adding some embelishments. The fabri-tac grabs fast & dries clear.

  48. Nancy Walker says:

Wow, Jennifer! You have done it again. Thanks for sharing those great tips for liquid adhesive. Up until now, I have been so frustrated with the nozzles always clogging. Thanks a million!

  49. Tammy S says:

I love glossy accents is my most favorite adhesive . Thank you for all your great tips.

I would love to have a chance to have these awesome products!!! I only have used Glossy Accents and lime it very much. Hannaford chance!!!
