Online Card Classes Background Check GIVEAWAY

Hello!

Just popping in to let you know that our newest Online Card Class just started and it isn’t too late to join. Background Check is all about creating unique backgrounds and fun ways to incorporate them into card designs. There will be over 20 videos… each with 3+ techniques!

I am giddy about the projects the teachers have created for this class. It is only day 1 and I am already seeing some beautiful backgrounds from students, too! You can watch the videos anytime – today, next week or next year. No hurries!

  1. One of my favorite “go to” background techniques is embossing a large stamped background image…or using an embossing folder.

  2. one of favorite backgrounds is using blended distress inks – love the color combo’s you can get and each one will always be different. Would love to win a spot in class. Always anxious to learn more from a very talented team.

  3. My favorite background is the repeat stamping of smaller stamps in shadow ink. I like how the look of the background can be easily changed by varying the placement and color of the stamping.

  10. My favourite background would probably have to be patterned paper or watercolor… It just looks so organic, and you can make it fall, spring, summer, or holiday. It looks really good and it’s not all that hard!

  16. I’ve tried distress inks and some watercolor, but certainly not proficient! I tend to be a little timid in the execution. Looking forward to this class from 3 very talented young ladies.

  18. I love your classes and would love to win a spot in this one! My favorite background technique has been watercolor since I took the watercolor OCC class. It never turns out the same way twice, but I love the differences.

  19. One of my favorite background techniques is stamping with a stamp (example: butterfly, flower, dots) with Versamark on the card stock. I love the cool effect it has! ๐Ÿ™‚

  20. The simple embossing folder does so much for the look of a card that is why it is my favorite!!!

  23. I love water color backgrounds and distress ink on craft mat then picked up with glossy card stock. Yo have to have some metallic silver in it too:)

  24. For backgrounds, I mostly use dry embossing. It’s nice but it would be wonderful to learn some new techniques. Thank you for a chance to win a spot in your new class!

  27. I guess I’d have to stay dry embossing using folders or impression plates. Think I’m a prime candidate for this class but it’s not in my budget right now. Thanks for the chance to win a spot in class!

  28. My favorite background for the moment is the use of pearly color paper as that is all I know how to do right now, so a class in doing different backgrounds would be a great way to be more creative.

  29. Hello, I love using embossing folders with an ink pad to color and/or distress. I would love to win a spot in your class ( a belated b’day gift LOL!

  30. I would totally love to win a spot in your new class!!!! I like a lot of backgrounds but I think my fav is watercolor backgrounds…..taking the distress inks and swiping them accross your cardstock or using the clear acrylic block and add color with your ink pads and then spraying water on it and smooshing it on your cardstock.

  32. I have not started making any cards or backgrounds yet but from the videos I’ve watched so far, I think i will like backgrounds with distress inks with stencils and maybe watercolour ๐Ÿ™‚

  34. I guess stencils or embossing folders are my usual techniques. I need the class. I’m sooooooo in a rut!! Thank you! I did get the clean color watercolor markers and am loving how very good they are. Thank you for the info!!!
