Great giveaway!

Hey there, stampers.

My favorite thing about my job and this industry is the people. (I think I have said that a few times here before, huh? 🙂 ) Well, a couple years back I met the fabulous Kerri Bradford. This girl oozes talent, fun and total class. Adore her… and her work.

And for a year now, she has been selling her digital printable and die cut designs. To celebrate her year anniversary, she has a new website, some great deals, fab giveaways and featured guests. I am honored to be her guest today. 🙂

I decided to use a few of her designs to die cut some shapes for simple cards using my Silhouette machine. I wanted simple, happy and bold – perfect to send to the girls when they aren’t here. For this first one, I die cut a big ol’ greeting and put it over an embossed-and-distress-stained-and-perfect-pearl-misted-watercolor background.

Bold colors and lots of shine…

And, I couldn’t let the negative space go to waste! So I did another…

Yikes, it is a bit loud, huh?

Oh… and here is a great tip when using a Silhouette: When you go to cut a shape, fill the page with extra shapes and cut them all from white. Then you will have pieces for future projects and you can ink them any color you want. For the “hello” on this next one, I cut in white and colored it with my Copics. Simple and quick…

And the blue piece on there was created with faux letterpress. (Anyone in Summer Card Camp? This is the technique I taught in Week 4.)

Another one. LOVE LOVE LOVE Kerri’s border “enjoy” shape. So cool. I stretched it across a transparency window. (Which I showed in Week 1 of Summer Card Camp.)

So, Kerri has some great sales going on this week:

And, since Kerri is so kind, she is letting me give away $50 in her designs! Just leave a comment here by Friday night for your chance to win.

Be sure to go check out her new site HERE. Enjoy!

(Oh, and the winner of the necklace gift certificate is Debbie Kissel.)
