Foil Stamping and New Inks + Giveaway!

Just wanted to pop in to let you know about a few fun things that are happening. And do a BIG giveaway!

I am a guest today over on the Ellen Hutson blog HERE… showing more examples of adding foil to stamped images. (You can see my original video HERE.) I just adore these flower and “hello” sentiment stamps from Julie Ebersole. They look great with the DecoFoil!

To see the video, head on over to Ellen Hutson.

Ellen said that I could give away some of the products I used in the video! This is an awesome prize pack – a laminator, stamp set, adhesive and 3 packs of foil! For your chance, leave a comment here by 11:59pmEST on 5/19/15  telling me a bit of good news in your life. (The winner’s name will be randomly selected and posted on my “Winners page” after the giveaway closes. International folks are eligible, too!)

Check out this giveaway!

Good luck!

My friends over at Altenew are releasing a new line of inks and are celebrating with a blog hop. The hop starts HERE at 9:00amEST today (5/15/15)… so be sure to check it out.

I am really excited to play with their new ink line… which are formulated to be perfect for stamp layering techniques. I wanted to do a video for you today showing how to use them… but I am honestly having trouble keeping up with it all at the moment! (Being a momma comes first here.) But I promise to show them to you in the future and get you some ink swatch downloads. 🙂 In the meantime, you can see the new inks HERE.

See you soon. Have a fabulous weekend. Audrey has prom this weekend and we are celebrating Lila’s 3rd birthday – can’t wait!

  1. Thanks for the gorgeous laminating technique we can use with so many of our current supplies, and thanks to Ellen for the fabulous giveaway! I’m receiving my first social security check this week, great news for my crafting pocketbook! 😀

  2. I will be starting my seasonal job this week booking people to go on Bear viewing trips in Alaska!

  3. Love all your techniques Jennifer…I’m learning so much. Heading to Nashville in a few days to visit my daughter. Can’t wait to hug her!

  4. I love this new trend toward foiling. It’s a great way to add depth and substance to any piece you make and tons of possibilities.
Thanks for the great tutorial and the chance to win!

  5. Hi Jennifer! I watched this video over at Ellen Hutson. I’m so excited that Julie E. is designing. I recently ordered one of her older dies (stag), with my Mday funds and took advantage of that 20% off coupon. 😉 You, know i’m going to have to get some foil…LOL Mike took me shopping yesterday for a late Mday gift and I went crazy at Michael’s and Hobby Lobby, got some AI stamps that are a hoot, the TH Fresh Brewed die (which is going to be so versatile and Mike loves Starbucks!), a couple of newer Sizzix thinlits dies (BeYouTiful & You Are My Happy) and some clearance stamps that I couldn’t pass on by Recollections (a great Varsity alpha set, Lg. Chevron background and Creative Caos with Large sentiments). Much needed white card stock for bases, since I made a ton of greeting cards for Mday gifties. But not a penny left for foil. My die-0-holism and stamp-0-holism just takes over! But soon, I will get foil soon, so I can play. Laminators probaby don’t come with carrier sheets, but the Laminating packages do, the letter sized ones do anyway. I actually talked Staples, out of a carrier folder one day and they let me purchase it seperate. Mom supplies me with large laminating sheets, so I didn’t have the carrier. Have a Great One.

  6. Oh my word I love this giveaway! I have been dreaming about trying this foil technique!

  7. Thanks for sharing all the great tips and ideas. I am ready to give foiling a try. My good news: just spent a week with my youngest grandchild and my mom and celebrating safe travel both ways! It was quite interesting to share time and projects with a 5 year old and a 90 year old! We make applique t-shirt dresses with a scrap of tropical fish print fabric, then made matching bracelets with pony beads and fabric scraps. Three generations of crafty fun.
