Foil Stamping and New Inks + Giveaway!

Just wanted to pop in to let you know about a few fun things that are happening. And do a BIG giveaway!

I am a guest today over on the Ellen Hutson blog HERE… showing more examples of adding foil to stamped images. (You can see my original video HERE.) I just adore these flower and “hello” sentiment stamps from Julie Ebersole. They look great with the DecoFoil!

To see the video, head on over to Ellen Hutson.

Ellen said that I could give away some of the products I used in the video! This is an awesome prize pack – a laminator, stamp set, adhesive and 3 packs of foil! For your chance, leave a comment here by 11:59pmEST on 5/19/15Β  telling me a bit of good news in your life. (The winner’s name will be randomly selected and posted on my “Winners page” after the giveaway closes. International folks are eligible, too!)

Check out this giveaway!

Good luck!

My friends over at Altenew are releasing a new line of inks and are celebrating with a blog hop. The hop starts HERE at 9:00amEST today (5/15/15)… so be sure to check it out.

I am really excited to play with their new ink line… which are formulated to be perfect for stamp layering techniques. I wanted to do a video for you today showing how to use them… but I am honestly having trouble keeping up with it all at the moment! (Being a momma comes first here.) But I promise to show them to you in the future and get you some ink swatch downloads. πŸ™‚ In the meantime, you can see the new inks HERE.

See you soon. Have a fabulous weekend. Audrey has prom this weekend and we are celebrating Lila’s 3rd birthday – can’t wait!

  11. Hello everyone. I just wanted to say this is awesome. I am digging into cardmaking and trying to learn new techniques and new products. Jennifer has helped me a lot, I am constantly checking her videos in youtube and she is incredible, yes. It all seems so easy…the thing is that when I try to put into practice her techniques my results are not the same by far…but that doesn’t discourage me at all. I will keep on trying, I’m sure I’ll improve. Thank you Jennifer!!!

  12. Love these products. My good news is after a bit of struggle, my nephew/Godson finally graduated from college. We are so proud of him.

  13. My GOOD NEWS is that I finally GAINED 10 pounds. Yes! And I thank the Lord for every one of them and more. Ladies, I’ve been waiting on a transplant for about nine months now. My illness caused me to lose so much weight that I was frail. You could see my bones. I prayed every day for the Lord to heal me and make me healthy for surgery. Did He hear me? You know the answer. In His time I put on a pound here and another there. I have never been so happy to see the scale go up. Hallelujah! I have more energy to engage with my family. p.s.: paper crafting has been one of my saving graces. I plan to share and invite all on my hospital floor to craft with me. My family has been alerted to bring my supplies as soon as I can sit up. Amen.

  14. Hi!! My good news is that I got to see my girls this last weekend and watch what beautiful caring people they have become. My girls are “launched” and I am so proud of them!

  15. I still have foil from when it was popular with stampers in the 1980’s! Someday soon I’ll get them out for a bit of play. Sure would be fun to win this lovely package from EH. Such a gracious and generous company… and owner! My good news for today was the notice my latest EH order has shipped!

  16. Wow! Fabulous card! And such a generous giveaway! Good news is that my little son got admission into the school that my daughter attends. Normally this should be a breeze. But this year, there was a great deal of confusion due to some rules changing and we missed the dates! So it is a big relief that the school had a seat for my little angel!

  28. My Dad had a stroke, but it turned out to be mild and most deficits have already reversed. Dad’s a pastor and many, many people prayed for him. He told me later: I bathed in prayer.

What a great quote and what a tremendous feeling that must have been.

  29. The recent good news in our family is my husband has finally found medical support for his type 2 diabetes and his overall health. He tried to get healthcare but at $700 a month on a pastors salary it proved way to steep. But now he has medication so everyday is looking brighter ☺️. I hope your thumb heals quickly . These cards are very shiny

  30. My daughter was part of the backstage crew for her high school drama production, and the good news is that it finished on Saturday and life has now returned to normal! No more late nights of 1:00pm or later!

  31. Love this!! My good news is that I used to scrapbook & make cards about 8 yrs ago. I gave it up due to work & life in general. About a month ago I was introduced to Project Life & now I am back to being creative again. The void I have been missing for so long is fulfilled again. I just started & can’t seem to stop! Lol. It was a long time and I now realize that my life wasn’t complete without expressing my creativity. My daughter and I are now creating together. My heart is full!

  36. Gorgeous card. I’ve come to the conclusion that I need a new laminator – it just doesn’t get hot enough. Friends had a healthy baby boy which was a huge joy after having their previous baby die at 22wks. I couldn’t be happier for them.

  37. Good news in my life:
I have just stumbled on this fabulous and very generous Giveaway – thank you to Ellen Hutson. This may just be the start of crafting for me – now that will be good news.
I have viewed numerous crafting videos for more than a year including one were you have used the foil technique before – it is stunning – but I have found things to be very costly as it would be an international purchase..still trying to get my head around how to make international purchases without nasty surprises of additional costs at the end.
Some more good news in my life, my dog had an operation yesterday and he is now going to be fine.

  38. My husband got a promotion, which is good but now he travels. But he is gone a lot so we invested in some good apple computers so we can face time and keep in touch..(Skype would only work half the time πŸ™ ) This round about he is gone for a month, to Chicago. My Aunt for mothers day bought me a ticket so I could go see him. What a wonderful weekend it was, My boss gave me a extra day off work so I would not be exhausted when I came back. and now it is only a week till my hubby comes home for the week end. πŸ™‚ yea!!!! Thanks for all you do for us out here in blog land Jennifer, I feel like part of your family!
