  1. Thanks for the video about the kits. The kits for the kids are really interesting. I am subscribed to a stamping kit each month but I might get a card kit subscription also.

  2. I have never used a craft kit… often because I have one or two of the things (not always of course) of what’s included. I often just go for the stamp set…

  3. I have used some I got from etsy and I loved creating from it. I plan on trying SSS kits in 2015 yay! Thank you for all you do and the opportunity to win some fabulous goodies God bless.

  4. Yes, I have used them and like them. Sometimes they tend to pile up if I don’t use them right away. Ordered Kiwi Crate for my grandaughter and she loved getting the kits!

  5. I did order one kit before from MemoryWorks when they were closing (same owners as Simple Stories), but other than that , I’ve never hit the subscribe button! I think it’s because I’m afraid that what I receive I won’t like and then won’t be used, so a waste of money. But sometimes I kick myself afterwards because I liked everything I had seen!

  6. This was my favorite video. I just love kits and this video did a great job highlighting the big ones out in the market. I’m currently signed up to the Simon Says Card kits as well as the Studio Calico ones. I love how you can try new products and also have everything coordinated at the same time.

  7. I have used crafting kits in the past. I purchased them from Hot Off the Press/Paper Wishes. I purchased and downloaded a few digital kits. I also took a season of Anna Griffin classes at my LSS. However, it’s been a while since I’ve worked with kits..

  8. I subscribe to the Simon Says Stamp monthly card kits and I just LOVE them. I like that they include inspiration pictures, and that so many great papercrafting bloggers (like you) always show how they used the kit.

  9. I really love the Hot Off the Press kits from PaperWishes.com. I have been getting the card kits for several years. They also have Scrqapbooking kits, Die-Cut kits, Embossing Folder kits, and more. They are really great. I would like to try some other kits though. Seems I can’t get enough and by the end of the month I’ve used all of my kits. Please let me try one or two of the kits you showed! Thanks, Margie

  10. Thanks for sharing your comments some time ago about Kiwi Crates and adding them to your favorite crafty things, card kits and such list. I ordered a subscription for my 4 year old granddaughter Emma for Christmas and I know she will love it.

  11. I’ve had a subscription to Studio Calico’s Project Life kit for a few years now. I’ve also tried Gossamer Blue & Citrus Twist PL kits and I used to get the monthly Studio AE stamps from Technique Tuesday. So yes you could say I’ve used a crafting kit before 😉

  12. I’ve loved the MFCT series over the past few years, but this series of “extras” has been really helpful. Happy holidays – I look forward to your projects and videos in 2015. 🙂

  13. Love, love, love all of the card making kits. I’m definitely looking into subscribing to a few – it’s just so difficult to decide which serve my needs best. I really want it all!

  14. I love my SSS monthly card kit. I have used others in the past, like Quick Quotes – I like the super kit that has scrapbook layouts and other projects like mixed media items.

  15. I’ve never used a card kit but after watching your video, I think I would like to try. Thanks for the opportunity to win one. I learned so much from your Crafty Things videos. Thanks for sharing.

  16. I have used the page kits from Miss Kate Cuttables, but no other kits. Thanks for an awesome opportunity and I am so excited to have been shown your blog!

  17. I have always wished I could get the studio calico kit and the freckled fawn when they came out too! Also think Simon Says Stamp has great kits, always love there included stamp sets! Thank you for the chance to win. 🙂

  18. Hi Jennifer!
I know it’s too late to be entered, but I wanted to let you know how fun it was to learn about NEW (new to me lol) kits/products. I hope I find all your fav pens in my stocking this year 🙂

  19. I have used a card kit by SSS for my very first cards I’ve ever made and it was GREAT! It was very helpful to have matching items all together and very inspiring! Now I have turned to art journaling and I can hardly find kits for this section. Thank you for the great video!

  20. Yes, I tried a Simon Says kit once and it was a good one. I liked the inspiration page and all the goodies that came with the kit. Most of the items I had never used and it was a nice introduction to some new products that I could get hooked on. I loved it!! Would love to win of course 🙂 Thank you!

  21. Hello Jennifer,

Here I am again, a day late and a dollar short, for the giveaway! But I did want to tell you how much I am enjoying your 2014 Crafty Series! Every year it grows, that’s good! My Mama always told me that having a good name was more precious than gold, and the fact that these companies are willing to giveaway products basically to you and then you share with us, says a lot about your character and how much these folks appreciate you! I have been watching you ever since I started crafting and I feel like you are my friend!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas season cause I know with you being a Christian, you certainly will share Jesus with your precious children and others around you!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

  22. I have tried a hot off the press card kit. It was a nice change for me. Love the pen with the different inks. I remember them when I was a kid many moons ago.

  23. This has been a really informative series. Thank you so much. How long did it take you to put all of this together?

  24. I love your blog and your YouTube channel so much! You have inspired me to become more creative in the cards that I make. Thank you <3

  25. I have never used a card kit before. However, I am seriously considering signing up for the Simon Says Stamp Subscription. I think it would really help me make better and more complete cards.
