  1. Loved the series, very informative and great helpful tips that are easy to incorporate. I have a couple of kits I’ve ordered, but I was thinking of starting the New Year with a subscription to the SSS monthly card kit. I’ve loved everything I’ve seen in each month’s kits and how the kits are utilized by each crafter. I hope you do this series again next year…it’s a keeper!

  2. I’ve subscribed to SSS card kit for over a year now and truly enjoy getting all the fun items in a box once a month!

  3. Jennifer, Thanks to you Simon Says Stamp has become my go-to place for my supplies. I’ve really enjoyed learning that a card can be very simple–not take hours–and yet so elegant. Would love to win a gift certificate to SSS. Keep up the great videos. I look for one almost every day to keep me inspired and making time for card-making. Thanks! Pam

  4. I’ve never tried any kits, but I really want to. I’ve been scoping out the various kits available in crafty land and just can’t decide which one to go with. Thanks for your video. This will definitely help me in my decision making process!

  5. First off, THANK YOU so much for this wonderful series!!!! I’ve only been watching your videos for about 6 months or so, but I’m already hooked!! Haha! So kits, yes I love the kits I choose to get (most recently the SSS card kit sub)!! I don’t do many “kit” things, so I search for ones that I’ll really use and enjoy (again, like the SSS card kits I just started getting-thanks in part to you & Kristina Werner of course^_^).

Thanks again for putting all of your hard work into this series (and everything you do)! It’s far more appreciated than you know!!! <3

  6. Hi Jennifer

I havent used the kits before. I plan on doing so in the near future. I love your website and all of the helpful tips you give.

    Thank you!

  7. I have never used a subscription craft kit. However now that see the quality and I have 14 grandkids,
    I will be signing up!

  8. I have never used a card kit, but the SSS ones look like they would be fun to try. Thank you for doing your Crafty Favorites series. I save them for future reference.

  9. I’ve never used a crafting kit, but have thought about it. Thanks for a chance to win. I’ve enjoyed your whole favorites series & today was so fun. I so appreciate your input, esp. for products that I’m considering buying,( some of which I tried & loved).

  10. I love scrapbook and card kits. My two favorite are Apron Strings Designs (great for crafters on a budget) and the Card Kitchen by Jillibean Soup (so sad they stopped shipping new kits).

  11. I have used card kits before and found them to be extremely helpful when you have lots of cards to make or if you need a card / cards in a hurry. I would love to try the SSS ones. Thanks for sharing.

  12. I have not used a crafting kit – but I have asked for a few subscription from my husband for Christmas! Thanks for all these options!

  13. I always felt like the kits would be the equivalent of taking a tour bus in Europe 🙂 and maybe they’d be missing the things I love best while crafting. But, as always, you make them so tempting! I checked out the Papertrey Ink ones, and they would be my favorite but beyond my budget, sadly; the Simon Says Stamp kits look terrific, but have gone up in price :(. But I continue to eat peanut butter sandwiches so I can craft LOL Thanks for this excellent series and all of the excellent technique videos. You have saved me so much time and money!

  14. I have used a card subscription before but wasn’t really happy. I think I will try Simon Sats Stamp though. I bought the Dec kit (after watching videos from you and Krinstina) and really liked it. Thanks for sharing others as well!

  15. THANKS so much for the My Favorite Crafty Things series. Great information, ideas and tips! I really enjoyed watching all videos.

  16. Hey Jennifer, I don’t currently subscribe to any of the kits that you highlighted. But, I have had my eye on the Simon Says kits for the past several months and I think they are really neat. Someday I would like to order one.

  17. I love the input you give. I have ordered and received a card making kit from Paper Wishes. Unfortunately, I wasn’t too happy with it, so I haven’t ordered anything like it since. I may have to try it again; the SSS card kit looks pretty impressive!!! Thanks for all your wonderful ideas!

  18. I love using kits, they make creating a little easier. I have Papertrey Ink, Studio Calico and Simon Says Stamp kits on my wish list for 2015 to try each for 3 months. Thanks for sharing more of your favorites.

  19. I’ve tried several kits. I have been a member of the SSS card kit since the 2nd one they came out with. I’ve been a member of Club Scrap and Studio Calico in the past along with some that no longer exist. I love receiving product already coordinated for me so I don’t have to think about it too hard.

  20. I’ve never used a card kit. Always been afraid of too much waste. I guess I need to pay attention and look more into these. Thank you.

  21. I used to subscribed to album kits and scrapbooking kits. But the shipping costs have increased so I had to drop them … 🙁 Now, I just shop few times a year online and purchase everything I need to save costs

  22. I loved my SSS kit… can’t wait to get my hands on another one. Maybe for christmas lol. Thanks for the chance to win!

  23. I have never tried a card kit, but love to try one. I looks like everything is in the kit to make several different types of cards which is a great idea.

  24. Just recently subscribed to the SSS card kit. I already received the first one, good value for the money. Thanks for the great videos, that’s a lot of work!

  25. i have never subscribed to a kit. i’m so happy you mentioned the crate kits for kids. i think i’ll sign my nephew for one. thanks for such useful information.

  26. I have used the freckled fawn kit and the simon says stamp card kit. They are both great quality products and I love the inspiration sheet given in the SSS kit.

  27. Thanks so much for doing this wonderful series Jen! So much information to be gained here!!
Years ago I subscribed to a monthly crafting kit, but lately I’ve been looking at the different card kits available now. You’ve helped me narrow down some of my choices, so I thank you for that!

  28. I’ve tried one each of an SC, Gossamer Blue and Scrapbook Circle kit, a few SSS card kits, the Papertrey Tinsel and Tags kit, and Kiwi Crates for my son. So far though, I haven’t found any that I’m so bowled over by that I want to subscribe to except for Kiwi Crate/Tinker Crate.

  29. I signed up for SEI kits a while back, but have since discontinued them. Currently, I subscribe to My Paper Pumpkin and I love them. I’m really looking forward to trying out the Koala/Kiwi/Tinker-Crates though…I think they will make perfect presents for the holidays! Thank you for all the time you’ve put into all these videos!

  30. I’ve been getting the SS Card Kit for a couple years now and just love it. (Though I do have a huge pile of boxes, time to get some pouches, or use more of them.) They are packed with all kinds of wonderful. Love the kids kits.
