A few more links..

  • Check out Jennifer Pebbles FREE class at 2peas HERE.  It is so cool.
  • Shannon Tidwell had a baby girl… so happy for her.  Look how stunning she looks with her pretty girl in this great layout HERE.  Ooooo… and THIS is so pretty!
  • I love Amy Grendell’s adorable Halloween Treat Jars HERE.  I think I may do this for the kids in Colin’s class.  And fill it with raisins. 🙂

Moving on…

I am trying to catch up on Q&A’s.  Here are a few more…

Q: Awhile back you mentioned something about kits.  Are you still thinking of doing that?
A: Back when I started the blog, I asked if anyone would be interested in buying kits if I had extras from classes.  However, I decided not to do this for two reasons.  One… I am lazy. 🙂  Two… with stamping, it is hard to do kits that aren’t super expensive.  And I seem to be completely incapable of creating anything without stamps.  (Addictions are tough. 🙂

Q: What dies work with the Cuttlebug?
A: Almost all do.  If you have non-Cuttlebug dies and want to learn how to use them on a Cuttlebug, I recommend doing a Google and/or YouTube search on “Cuttlebug with Quickutz Dies” or whatever. You can easily get the answers you need.

Q: Do you have any other videos I can see?
A: Yep.  I would recommend going HERE and clicking on the yellow “subscribe” button so you can be notified whenever they are posted.  Also, I do videos for twopeasinabucket.com HERE and Hero Arts HERE.

Q: Where do you get all your pretty soft ribbon?
A: Ahh… I get asked this a lot.  And I am so happy to say that one of the great online stores now carries the silk ribbon I love!  I can promise promise promise you will love it.  It is classy and soft and comes in great colors.  And thin, so when you tie a knot it is tiny and not bulky – perfect for cardmaking and scrapbooking.  If you are interested in the silk ribbons, click HERE.  They have great prices, too.

Now… time for the next giveaway.  Today I have a fun pile of my favorite silk ribbon!  For a chance to win all this goodness, just leave a comment on this post by Friday at 11:59pmEDT telling me one of your favorite stamp companies.  (I am hoping to discover some new ones to buy.)  I will post the winner on Saturday. Here is the ribbon you would win…

Silk ribbon goodness

Off to pack for a teaching gig this weekend in Orlando.  It is a rep show – I love doing classes for store owners. It is good to see stores doing well in this industry and economy.

Have a great night.  Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Jennifer, my all-time favorite is Hero Arts,in fact, I just ordered several things from the Hero Arts website, and I look at their blog first thing every day–that’s the best enabling idea I have ever seen. However, I also like Stampin’ Up and have just discovered Papertrey.

    Best, Charlotte

  2. I Love Hero Arts Stamps and Stampin Up is second in line. I’d love to own some new ribbon. They are beautiful. Thanks for sharing your time and talent.

  3. Wish I could tell you something you don’t already know, but Hero Arts Stamps ROCK! (Love the silk ribbon!).

  4. I use SU! alot but have really fallen in love with Clear stamps- Hero Arts are great but i like Technique Tuesdays and October Road and Heidi Grace.

  5. These ribbons are gorgeous Jennifer! I’ll have to try to hunt some down in Australia.

Of course Hero Arts is my fave but that won’t help you much, so I’ll mention Crafty Individuals- they are a UK company that sells unmounted rubber stamps.

  6. I was a Stampin’ Up demonstrator for a few years, so most of my stamps are theirs and I love them! I’m branching out now…I like Hero Arts a lot.

  7. Ok, I’m going to tell you the truth. I don’t really stamp. I was given a GC recently and so I went to get one of those great background stamps that you use so often. They didn’t have anything like what you use. I didn’t like them at all, so I guess Hero Arts is my fav!?

  8. i would have to say i am really liking unity and papertrey ink stamps right now!! they are both awesome companies with great sets!!

  9. Right now I am all about Hero Arts. I just bought a Stampin’ Up catalog as I hadn’t looked at their stuff for a while. So I would have to say these companies have my attention right now.
I would really love to have that pile of ribbon!

  10. I have been stamping for 15+ years and throughout that time, my favorite (still in business) stamp companies are Amuse and Savvy stamps. I really love the simplicity of their designs. Those ribbons look gorgeous. Keeping my fingers crossed.

  11. I sure hope I win the ribbon. Just the pile looks beautiful!

Most of my stamps are Hero Arts. I also like The Artful Stamper, Penny Black & just recently I found Whipper Snapper Designs.

  12. The ribbons are dreamy! Right now, I would have to say (aside from hero arts) I love Inkadinkado. I like Memory Box too.

  13. I only recently got more into using stamps, so I am not as aware of all of the stamp companies out there. I do have some from Hero Arts, Autumn Leaves, Stampendous, and a few I can’t remember. So far, I have been impressed with the clarity of the Stampendous stamps. No smudges or blurriness. Cool 🙂

  14. I only know one stamp company and it’s Inkadinkado that I get from Michael’s. I’m also looking for more stamp company too.

  15. My favorite is Hero Arts. I also like Papertreyink. But have recently found Stampingbella. Their stamps are so cute. You would probably identify with “Beachabella,” “Gardenbella,” or “Stamping Bella.”

  16. Oooooh! Such pretty ribbons! Please pick me! Like I really need another piece of ribbon! 😉 But, I cannot help it…I am addicted…I need a ribbon lovers anonymous group. I really like Rosie’s Roadshow stamps…I think they have some of the cutest word/sayings stamps!

  17. Not that i stand a chance ,but my favorite stamps are Hero Arts, Stampin Up and Close to my heart. i love that ribbon, please pick me.

  18. Silk Ribbon! Delish!!

    Favorite Stamp companies?
Gotta say Autumn Leaves is right at the top. And always CTMH. Acrylic stamps really brought me back to stamping which was my first love in the paper crafts world about 12 years ago.

  19. HERO are the BEST… but if you don’t mind shopping from New Zealand there’s Kiwi Impressionz who do absolutely gorgeous Kiwiana stamps.

  20. I love the Hero Arts stamps, but it depends what I am looking for. I do like some of the clear stamps from Autumn leaves.

    Pam

  21. I like a lot of companies but a neat one that not a lot of places carry is kodomo. They have really deeply etched rubber stamps and cool asian themes.

  22. Hi there – Thank you for a wonderful giveaway! I am a huge fan of CTMH and PTI stamps, but I also like GreenGrass stamps as well. Have a great day! ~ Jen

  23. I love Stampin’ Up! and Studio G. Though I do not own any yet, I realy like Autumn Leaves and Hero Arts as well! Thanks for asking Jennifer! =)
