WCMD Week: Day 6 of Giveaways & Video
Howdy. Welcome to Day 6 of my World Card Making Day Week. Today, I have a card, video, and, of course, a giveaway. ☺
First, the winner of Day 4’s prize of Tim Holtz Distress Inks is… Emmy. I will email you!
Thanks for all your comments about your favorite stamp companies. There were a few I have never heard of. Tomorrow, I am going to check out some of them and will share anything good I find!
In the meantime, here is a video (with a spelling error – sorry) and a silly card. It shows adding color dimension with Liquid Pearls. (Again, I recommend instead going HERE to watch it and to click on “watch in high-quality.” Sorry – no time to load on to my site.)
Supplies:
October Afternoon monster stamp (so stinkin’ cute)
Papertrey Ink dot stamp (so a must-have)
Hero Arts party hat and greeting stamps (so fun)
Bazzill Dotted Swiss paper (so very awesome)
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Shabby Shutters (so gorgeous)
White Opal Liquid Pearls (so my-new-addiction)
Black Memories Ink (so often used)
KI Memories orange striped paper (so a favorite)
Google eyes (so fun for a monster)
I just love that monster stamp. And I felt like the monster needed some bumps… and colored liquid pearls did the trick. ☺
Now it is time for the giveaway! Today I have some great goodies from American Crafts. I am a HUGE fan of their Thickers and rub-ons, so I thought I would share some with you, along with their new Flair. To enter, just leave a comment on this post by Saturday, October 4th at 11:59pmEDT. In your comment, please leave a “happy birthday” message for my brother, Mike. He is such a good guy and I am so very proud to have him as a brother. And maybe if enough of you leave him a nice comment, he will forgive me for telling the world it is his 40th birthday today. ☺ Here are the goodies you could win…
Thanks for helping make my brother smile. (Or want to scream at me – one or the other. ☺)
Off to bed. I have an early morning of classes tomorrow. I hope you all get to create tomorrow for World Card Making Day. Be sure to visit Hero Arts Blog tomorrow HERE… there will be some fun things going on. Enjoy!
