Hi! It’s Day 5 of my celebration of World Card Making Day Week. Today I have some shares, links, Q&A’s and a great giveaway. It’s very yummy…
The winner of Day 3’s giveaway (a bunch of Heidi Swapp goodies) is Jessica Griffin. I will email you.
First, I wanted to say that I finally got the video to work on YouTube for yesterday’s card. Here it is. (For more info on the card, click HERE.)
Next… 2peas had a bunch of new stuff go up in their Garden yesterday. Here are my silly cards… click HERE for more pictures and info…
A few more links..
- Check out Jennifer Pebbles FREE class at 2peas HERE. It is so cool.
- Shannon Tidwell had a baby girl… so happy for her. Look how stunning she looks with her pretty girl in this great layout HERE. Ooooo… and THIS is so pretty!
- I love Amy Grendell’s adorable Halloween Treat Jars HERE. I think I may do this for the kids in Colin’s class. And fill it with raisins. 🙂
Moving on…
I am trying to catch up on Q&A’s. Here are a few more…
Q: Awhile back you mentioned something about kits. Are you still thinking of doing that?
A: Back when I started the blog, I asked if anyone would be interested in buying kits if I had extras from classes. However, I decided not to do this for two reasons. One… I am lazy. 🙂 Two… with stamping, it is hard to do kits that aren’t super expensive. And I seem to be completely incapable of creating anything without stamps. (Addictions are tough. 🙂
Q: What dies work with the Cuttlebug?
A: Almost all do. If you have non-Cuttlebug dies and want to learn how to use them on a Cuttlebug, I recommend doing a Google and/or YouTube search on “Cuttlebug with Quickutz Dies” or whatever. You can easily get the answers you need.
Q: Do you have any other videos I can see?
A: Yep. I would recommend going HERE and clicking on the yellow “subscribe” button so you can be notified whenever they are posted. Also, I do videos for twopeasinabucket.com HERE and Hero Arts HERE.
Q: Where do you get all your pretty soft ribbon?
A: Ahh… I get asked this a lot. And I am so happy to say that one of the great online stores now carries the silk ribbon I love! I can promise promise promise you will love it. It is classy and soft and comes in great colors. And thin, so when you tie a knot it is tiny and not bulky – perfect for cardmaking and scrapbooking. If you are interested in the silk ribbons, click HERE. They have great prices, too.
Now… time for the next giveaway. Today I have a fun pile of my favorite silk ribbon! For a chance to win all this goodness, just leave a comment on this post by Friday at 11:59pmEDT telling me one of your favorite stamp companies. (I am hoping to discover some new ones to buy.) I will post the winner on Saturday. Here is the ribbon you would win…
Off to pack for a teaching gig this weekend in Orlando. It is a rep show – I love doing classes for store owners. It is good to see stores doing well in this industry and economy.
Have a great night. Thanks for stopping by.
