Gotta turn this day around with a giveaway…

Boy.

Bad day.  The hard drive died on my baby.  Boogers.  I love love love my MacBook Pro.  Love it.  But I attract bad luck with stuff like this.  Thankfully, Apple has the best customer service in the world and they are saving me.  Will get the hard drive replaced tomorrow.  Thank goodness!

But since that occupied my day, I didn't get any creating done.  So let's do a giveaway instead. :)  This RAK is for a copy of the Designing With Recipe book…

Just leave a comment here by Friday night at 11:59pmPST telling me what your favorite new scrapbooking goodie is.  I feel like I haven't bought anything new in ages and need to do a bit of online shopping. Nothing is better than retail therapy, huh? 🙂

Oh, and please go backup your computer.  🙂

    Hey Jennifer,
I have a MacBook and I just love it. We do apparently back up at least twice a week and then back up our external hard drive, I say apparently because I would never think too much about it however, DH works it IT so is therefore a little paranoid. This is good for me because I Don’t have to worry.
At the moment I am really loving the circle scallop punches, actually anything scallop. I am going a little nuts over them.
Hope that your day tomorrow is a better one.

Ugh! There is nothing more frustrating than your computer acting up. It’s amazing how much we depend on them. I hope everything works out okay.

For Mother’s Day I received some money to buy clothes. Instead I purchased a bunch of Hero Arts stamps online and cannot wait for them to get in. I purchased the Designblock Flourish, Clear Design Home, Clear Design Cupcakes, Clear Design Playful Animals, Clear Design Tree, Bird and Messages. I figure if I attach all the packaging together I can make a new outfit for myself. Just kidding!!

Thanks for the giveaway! I hope I win!

    Hi Jennifer,
I only recently found out that my LSS has kraft paper (12″x12″)in their collection. I love that paper. I use it for background, cards, embellishments. It’s so versatile.
We had a computercrash a couple of years ago and lost everything on the hard disc. Luckily, my husband had put all our pictures on back-up CD’s.
    Good luck with your computer.

I shudder to think about losing my hard drive. :O

  34. kim says:

I’ve been playing with my cricut lately and lots of clear stamps. I’m a little late on the “thickers” wagon, but I have some of them that I’m anxious to play with. Also bought the Friskars stamp press, but haven’t had time to play with it either. (sigh)

  35. cathy says:

hope things are better soon for ya! i just got a couple of new MS punches and can’t wait to use them!

  36. Teresa says:

My favorite new goodie are thickers, chip board stickers, by American Craft. I got them in white so I could add my own color choice. The package has 3 of most letters and numbers plus lots of punctuation marks and other symbols. They are really a lot of fun and something I have never worked with before.

  37. Sarah M says:

Boogers indeed!! Hope everything gets back to normal for you soon. Our main computer STILL has motherboard issues (long story) and my DH has me hooked up to an ancient machine (can’t watch any video here), can’t print pics, etc. I feel SO lost.

Anyways, I’m trying not to tempt myself by not going into the scrapbook stores (not that you help). 😉 My fav’s right now though seem to be things you’re inspiring me with – CB embossing folders, Hero Arts goodies, and just about every technique you show us. Does that make you my favourite scrapbook supply? 😉
