  1. I’d have to say heat embossing! Although I just got a shimmer pen and am looking forward to adding it to my projects. 🙂

  2. Another wonderful video packed with useful information for all of us. Thanks so much Jennifer!! Often times I use sequins or the confetti but lately I’ve also been using, almost exclusively, Nuvo Drops of all kinds. The Drops come in so many wonderful colors and various “types” and can dress up any card. (Thanks for that obsession too! lol) I hope you’re having a wonderful week and that Santa is good to you all. ~BIG HUGS~

  3. I’ve fallen in love with Nuvo drops this year. Great colors, never clog, self-leveling. I also think their deluxe adhesive is the best on the market. My only (big) disappointment has been the Nuvo embellishment mousse. Even with the lids tightly sealed, I have chunky dried up product in containers that were hardly touched 😔

  4. For sure I use clear Wink Of Stella the most. Quick, easy and I can’t get enough of it!
Thanks for all of the inspiration this year.

  5. I do love me some wink of stella. I also love to ink the edges of things. Probably my two biggest go-to extras.

  6. Without a doubt this is the most informative site around. The organization tips put me in my happy place. I use the Wink of Stella pens all the time!

  7. Many thanks for another great money saving video, & of course vouchers to great places for supplies. As a new comer I am 100% enjoying all the advice that you give & the ability to back to these video’s is most beneficial too. Currently to finish a card or tag off as a new bod I am trying everything but like most people I’m memorized with embossing powders as they change in heat, I must look like a child at Christmas every time.
Have a great Christmas time & rest with your family, hope your curve ball gets sorted for you & I look forward to the last installment. x

  8. I really love the time and care that you put in these videos love that you give an honest opinion.
The gems for Lucy as well as the Nuvo drops are the bomb and of course the shimmer pens a must
    Merry Christmas to your family

  9. I am really enjoying this “My Favorite Things” 2017 series. The accent or finishing touch I use the most currently is the Wink of Stella (I just love it!); I’ve been exposed to a few other options through your recent post and plan to check those out as well to see if I like them better. The other accent or finishing touch I use the most is Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. I really love how embossing powder just adds that extra little something! ~Antoinette

  10. My wink of Stella pen is my go to accent for finishing touches. It lasts a long time, is easy to apply, and who doesn’t like a little sparkle. Thank you for sharing your expert advice. I learn so much from you. I appreciate the way present you show how you create your cards. Thank you for a chance to win.

  11. I love using embossing, especially gold! Love how it changes like magic with the application of heat! I’ve just bought some Nuvo drops and am looking forward to trying them (though it’s so hot and humid here now I’m not sure how much success I’ll have)

  12. I have been doing a LOT of heat embossing on my cards recently to step it up a bit and give them a more finished look.

  13. I like to use spectrumnoir sparkle pen the most for accents. However I also like sequins and nuvo drops or enamel dots. Thanks Jennifer love everything you do!

  14. Heat embossing was the one that got me hooked on crafting. Through the years I have used ribbons then sequins to up my cards. But I always go back to heat embossing.

  15. Hello! Thanks for another lovely video!! Quick question: Do you know if there is much difference between the Hero Arts heat gun PW200, that you use, and the HT400? Thanks so much!

Heat Embossing is definitely the one I use most! But lately I’ve been adding a lot of the Pretty Pink Posh confetti. SSS has a rainbow version of that confetti that is an incredible array of sizes and pretty, vibrant colors! 🙂

  16. Great video. Fun thoughts on finishing cards. I like the sequins with no holes. the flatter ones. I have the pick up tool but it doesn’t seem to have a sticky end anymore. Have you had this problem and how to fix it to be sticky again. Tried using a little damp cloth but still not sticky. Thanks

  17. Thank you for all the great recommendations! My favorite finish this year has been nuvo drops…you can never have too much sparkle!

  18. I have only found you this year Jennifer and have these videos to be invaluable. Thank you so much for taking the time to help us newbies!

  19. I love your video series! Thanks for all the time you spend! My new “go to” embellishments are the Nuovo Drops! I am addicted! Yikes!

  20. I love the hero arts antique gold embossing powder and use it the most. I also use the shimmer spray a lot – so pretty! Thanks for your information videos. I always learn about new fun products from them.

  21. OMG, my wish list is so large now thanks to your my favorite crafty things. you explain things so well and get me excited to try them all out! I would love to know about your storage recomendation and can’t wait to see that, But family does come first!

  22. I really enjoy your favorite things videos. I always learn something from them. I think my favorite finishing touch would be the glimmer pens. I find I reach for them often. Thank you for all the inspiration and a chance to win a prize.

  23. Thank you for another informative video Jennifer. I appreciate your honest reviews as there are so many new products available. Helps me decide what I want to try. Wishing you & your family a healthy and happy holiday! Looking forward to more posts in the New Year

  24. Thank you for your helpful videos. I use embossing powders the most, and now want to try the HA White Satin Pearl , after seeing how beautiful it is.

  25. Thank you for doing this series, it has been very helpful. I have learned a lot from you and I really enjoy your spirit of giving. I am retired so I don’t get to buy much of the products you recommend, but I have put them on my Wish List. Have a very Blessed Christmas season with your family.

  26. Jennifer you don’t have to apologies that the last episode comes after the holidays, family comes always first, family is important.
Everyone will be waiting for you, whe all love your series!
Thanks for again a great video, I always take notes from things I am interested in and write in my notebook in which episode (incl. year) I saw it. The past series have helpt me a lot. Sometimes I want to buy something and then I look what you use and what you say about it and if it’s what I am looking for, they are a great guide.
My favorite accent this year was my Wink of Stella Clear, bought it after seen it in one of your video’s, and love it since then.
Have a lovely Christmas with your loved ones.

  27. Hello Jennifer:). Another wonderful video with great info, thanks so much. I love embellishing. Glitter, embossing powder, a bit of twine or ribbon, a bead or two, a little shimmer pen work, I love it all!! But my go to? If I can get a little dimensional glitz with a rhinestone-like jewel (or two or three…), I consider my card truly “Alliefied”. I hope you and yours have a very Merry Christmas. I can’t wait to see what info and inspiration you share in the new year!!
    -Allison

  28. I use VersaMark ink the most because I LOVE heat embossing. It seems to add so much pizzazz to any card I make. I also use Wink of Stella quite a bit and I’ve started using Nuvo Drops and really like those as well.
