Wink of Stella pen is my favorite. So easy to use, makes a great impact.

Thank you again for this wonderful series this year. I am sure it takes many hours to put this all together but it is a great go-to reference for the entire year. You are amazing and so full of knowledge and helpful hints. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season!

Nuvo Drops and a Sparkle pen 🙂 . I also try to use sequins as much as possible since I have so many LOL!!! Thanks for another awesome video!! I need to go find some great embossing powders now, thanks!!

Whoops-didn’t do it right-having to try again!
I just love Versamark and use the systema conrtainers I found at a local discount store.Thank you for all you teach us about products. The information helps me know what to use!

    Merry Christmas!

  4. Sue McRae says:

I really like using the clear Nuvo Drops on my cards as well as the Sparkling Clear Sequins from PPP. These two items are a staple in my card making.

  5. GrammyP says:

Wow! That was a lot of information to try to remember! As for what I probably use most often–it’s the sparkle pens or sparkle spray. I purchased the Shimmer Spritz after watching several of your videos and I just love it! It gives a wonderful sparkle without overwhelming the design. I haven’t used the Nuvo Tonic glitter pens but I have used Wink of Stella and Spectrum Noir and I love both of them. Gotta add that little bit of glitter and glam to my cards! Thanks for all you do and Merry Christmas!

  6. Beth Jenkins says:

So many wonderful items to try! I use versamark ink so much on my cards. I like to use it to emboss and I also like to use my chalks on it. I enjoy all of your videos

  7. Shannon says:

Sparkle and glitter pens are at the top of my list – I can add some sparkle and shine without a mess or worrying about it flaking off. Merry Christmas!

  8. Wendy O'dell says:

First off I’d like to say thank you for taking the time away from your family to make all the 2017 favorite things videos. I know they have to eat up a huge chunk of your time and I for one appreciate every minute you put into making tbese videos. I personally have gotten a lot out of them and refer back to them frequently.
The product I most use are probably are gems, jewels and enamel dots. But I will be doing a lot more embossing and things thanks to you for teaching me how to do it right and all the things you can do with it. Ty❤

LOL I got the Dritz Magnetic Bowl instead, but I will DEFINITELY go back & order that Bead Tray! 😉 You’re THE BEST SALES PERSON for SSS!!! LOL WITH MUCH APPRECIATION!!! My most used finishing touches are either glitter or sequins! I do adore all of Altenew’s embossing powders! TFS! 🤞✨🤞✨🤞

  17. Dorothy Mutafopulos says:

I truly love and appreciate your honesty about the products you use. It truly helps me make decisions on what I truly need in my craftroom since I am on a budget . My craftroom is small so organization and what I need to use to accomplish my project is important to me and you make it so easy for me . God bless and hugs!!!

  18. Connie says:

I have learned so much from your videos. I keep seeing something new that I want to try. Thank you! I currently use sequins and enamel dots because it’s quick and easy. I want to do more with heat embossing and the info in this post has been most helpful.

  19. Sandra Gibbs says:

Usually I resort to a ribbon or bow. I don’t have many of the drops, sequins and stuff. I do use my wink of stella on almost every card

  20. Denise Bryant says:

I love using Wink of Stella and adding that bit of sparkle to my cards!

  21. Wendy Fisher says:

I love all these videos! So great for ones starting out!! Thank you!!!

  22. Peggy eckel says:

I commented on wrong day. I like to use the Nuvo drops for flower centers and edges. Little drops around the layout makes the viewers eyes move around and see more of the detail I added.

  23. Thank you for taking the time to produce these AMAZING “Favorite Things” videos!! I have to say my favorite accent/finishing touch is using embossing powders and Wink of Stella clear pen.

  24. MelissaF says:

Thank you for another awesome video, love seeing all these products together for comparison, so thorough! I am loving Nuvo drops, great for mailable cards.

  25. Maria B says:

I think embossing powder is what is most used in this house.

  26. dancingcat says:

I use glossy accents the most, most of my cards go to my grandson and I can’t use glitter on them, so this gives a little bit of shine. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  27. Sharon Jones says:

I use a lot of the things in your video. I love sequins and jewels, nuvo drops, shimmer pens. The only thing I don’t use is glitter. I don’t like the mess that can come with glitter and I get it everywhere so I don’t use it. Love your videos.

  28. Kari D says:

Many of the finishing touches I add to my cards I learned from you; your blog and your videos have helped take my stamping up a notch….or two! Thank you for introducing me to Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens, Tsukineko Shimmer mist, and Tonic Nuvo Drops!!!! I use them all the time! I so appreciate your honest assessment of new products and your clear instructions on how to best use them. I am such a HUGE Jennifer McGuire fan!!!

  29. Cynthia Baldwin says:

Enamel dots or sequins are my favorite ways to finish out a project! Thanks, as always, for your recommendations. I literally go through your lists and add them to my (ever-growing) wish list.

  30. Carla Hundley says:

    I love using gems
    and Washi tape.
    Carla from Utah

  31. Rory says:

I mostly use nuvo drops or sequins. I now love the confetti and the Lucy’s cards jewels. thank you again for your insight.

  32. Linda Pearce says:

My favorite finishing touch is the Wink of Stella Clear Shimmer marker. Thanks for a chance to win.

  33. Sandi Calhoun says:

I recently started using the Nuvo drops. I was using Stickles and still do on occasion.
Thanks to your videos, I am stepping out and trying new items and techniques.

  34. Cindy G says:

I still use glossy accents quite a bit, probably because I’ve always had good luck with it. I also use various Tonic drops along with Ranger enamel accents. Thank you for the 2017 video series. Happy Holidays to you & your family.

  35. Debbi S says:

I don’t think a card or project is finished until it gets a little
jazzed up with a jewel or 10. Love the little things by Lucy’s
Cards. Thanks for another great video.

  36. Amy Cooley says:

I can’t resist a bit if sparkle on my cards with Stickles glitter glue.

  37. Andrea Miller says:

I like to use wink of stella. Thanks for the video and post.

  38. thanks for these series jen.. my fave finishing touch is the nuvo jewels.. it adds simple yet elegant look to cards.

  39. Patt H. says:

Thanks so much, Jennifer, for taking the time to make these super videos for us. I really appreciate all the information. I would say I have been using the glitter pens & sparkle spray the most lately but I do use a lot of embossing powders. Emboss resist is one of my favorite techniques so I do emboss a lot. Love the Hero Arts Satin Pearl powder & am asking for some on my crafty Christmas wish list.

  40. Megan Carroll says:

    I love gold embossing!

  41. Tami B says:

You got me hooked on the Lucy’s Cards jewels earlier this year. I love them! I use shimmer pens probably the most of all the finishing touches.

  42. Carol says:

usually add a bit of shimmer or sparkle with Wink of Stella or Spectrum …

  43. Denise says:

I probably use Wink of Stella the most, although I just purchased some clear sequins. Still learning how to not go overboard with them. Lol. Lately I have also been enjoying my puffy snow pen for holiday cards. Thank you so much again, Jennifer, for all your hard work. I can’t imagine how much time this series must take to put together. You certainly deserve some time off. 🙂 Have a very merry Christmas with your family! You’ll be in my prayers.

  44. JODI M HUFENDICK says:

I do love Crystal drops, but my new obsession, thanks to one of your videos, is double or triple white heat embossing on colored card stock. I made some gorgeous Christmas cards with that technique on colored cardstock with colored pencils. I melded one of your videos and one of Yana’s videos.

  45. joyce says:

i love it when u do this.. amazing and so helpful

  46. Susan Berry says:

Love all your videos that introduce me to new products I MUST HAVE. As for the finishing touch I use the most, it is the Spectrum Noir clear glitter pen. Thanks.

  47. Suzette says:

Thanks for showing us these products! My favorite finishing touch is embossing

  48. Liron Alush says:

My favorites are the Nuvo drops. I find them most handy (and the good old Glossy Accent is still awsome).
I wish you would do a video on thick embossing powders for bold prints. I struggle with them.

  49. Rebecca Ednie says:

I still use sequins most but I’m starting to use more Nuvo drops and crystal gems.

  50. Jennifer Gallagher says:

Great video. I would say lately I’ve been using Sequins the most, they give that extra sparkle to a project
