Mirror Stamping and Die Cutting
Hello! I am here today to share a simple way to do both mirror stamping and mirror die cutting. It is simple and gives great results!

Mirror stamping is a wonderful way to get new looks from your stamps. I also feel like having two mirrored images on a card gives a unique, modern look.
My first card features the gorgeous bird image from the Spellbinders Sparrow Stamps and Die Set (SSS | SB). Using the Neat and Tangled Backdrop Stamp (SSS | | EH | N&T), I am able to create a mirror image, too! (Be sure to watch the video on how to do this – it is difficult to explain without the visual. I used my MISTI stamping tool to make the process fail-proof, but I also show how to do the technique with an acrylic block.) I find VersaFine Onyx Black Ink is excellent for this technique… and then I clear heat embossed.
I colored my birdies with Arteza Watercolor Real Brush Pens and Tonic Aqua Shimmer Pens. (I will share more about these products in a future video.) The sentiment is from the Birch Press Just Because Stamp Set and I white heat embossed the Ink Blot Shop Plaid Background Stamp on the background for a bit of subtle texture. Oh – and the Lucy’s Cards Iridescent Jewels are the perfect accents!
My second card uses a feather from the Spellbinders Feathers Stamps and Dies (SSS | SB). I again did mirror stamping and die cutting.
