  1. I have LOVED Hero Arts, SSS and Reverse Confetti Inks!! Will have to branch out and try some of the others you’ve mentioned!! Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink is my VERY FAVORITE Black Ink, but will totally be investing in the others you’ve mentioned!! THANKS for sharing and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)

  2. I love the formulation like Hero Arts, Simon Says Stamp, and MFT. Love how they smooth. But for sentiments, I love versafine.

  3. I’ve always like Stampin Up inks, but now I have such a variety it’s almost impossible to pick one. I do love the Distress Oxides – fabulous colors and emboss beautifully. Versafine Onyx black is a must and so is Staz-On. Now to watch your video. Gina K products are beautiful.

  4. Thank you for sharing this Jennifer! Lovely and informative video I have never tried Gina K inks but I am trying to save money to buy some and also some of her stamp sets! I’ve never met her but she seems like a super sweet person and I’d love to have some of her products and support her business [I’m addicted to watching StampTv :)]

  5. Always enjoy this seeies you do. Thank you for all the time and effort younput into compiling these favs. TFS!!

  6. My favorite ink is Versafine onyx black because it stamps so crisply. Thank you for all the recommendations!

  7. Thank you for all this great information you are giving. I love Hero arts and distress inks and use them a lot. After seeing your Gina K. ink swatch book in the Video I think I will give them a try.

  8. I use several different inks. This year my cards were done with Lawn Fawn inks – love the colors. My all time favorite is probably VersaMark though. So much I can do with it. It is an absolute staple can’t live without.

  9. I love the information your your “Favorite Things” series. I am learning so much about crafty things that I didn’t even know was available.

  10. Right now my favorite Inks are Ghost Ink by Renea (totally amazing) and Altenew Inks! That doesn’t mean that I don’t still love my Distress and Distress Oxide Inks or my Memento. Inks too. Each one has a special place in my heart! TFS!

  11. I’m with you- I am LOVING the distress oxide inks! I only have 2 colors right now, but I will certainly be adding more to my collection!

  12. I love the distressed oxide inks as I love blending and the water effects. I recently ordered some Altenew cubes and can’t wait to get them. For black, I use the Momento ink. But may try the Hero Arts with my Copic markers. When I watercolor, I use Tim Holtz Archival Black ink. And, of course, Versmark for embossing and watermark.

  13. Happy Holidays!
My favorite inks are Hero Arts! I also love Tim Holtzs inksa and Memento Black Ink is a MUST HAVE!
Thanks for the chance to win.

  14. I love the distress oxide. They blend just as beautifully as you said so I’m so glad I listened to you and got them. After your video I bought some altenew and can’t for them to arrive.

  15. I’ve only used Ranger Archival inks so far, but ordered some Distress Oxides recently. Thanks for the explanations.

  16. One of the best things about your blog and videos is that you always remember those that might not be able to purchase the products used in your videos and that there are other options they can use!! I personally love that and these are great products anyone would be happy to be gifted ! Thanks and Merry Christmas!🎄

  17. I find it interesting that you don’t bother to tell people watching this video that Hero Arts dye inks, Reverse Confetti dye inks, MFT dye inks, Lawn Fawn dye inks, Gina K dye inks, and Memories dye inks are ALL manufactured by Superior Marking Products, and as such are essentially nothing more than re-packaging. In other words, it’s very easy for someone to have exactly the same ink color with six different names.

  18. Years ago I stocked up on Stampin Up with the refills, but now they don’t carry a lot of them or the matching cardstock . I’m hoping to find other brands that will match the ink I have. Distress Oxide ink is awesome too.

  19. I know there are a lot of different inks but I have to say my fave is Tim Holtz’s Distress Oxide inks because of the amazing special effects you can do with them… like printing with water over an ink covered paper! Fantastic !

  20. I saw you prepped your stamp before you used, do you that every time before you stamp or just when they are new? Thanks for such clear and informational videos, you rock!

  21. Hi Jennifer,
I really appreciate all the time you put into sharing your knowledge with us every year! 🙂
I don’t really have a favourite ink… I probably get consistently best results for papercrafting from the Ranger Dye Inks, and love Staz On for working with plastic, but I have many many other brands and ink types that I love, many of which I’ve learned about here!
(I’m going to buck a trend however and say that I really really hate the little ink cubes! I have some from card kits, and even though they’re reputable brands and I get great results from the equivalent full size pads, I’ve never been happy with the cubes.)
Anyway, really I’m looking forward to the rest of your Favorite Craft Things for this year… particularly storage and organisation!
    Many thanks once again!

  22. I have ,what seems to be other people too, a battle with which ink does what & which ink to use with what medium. I am aware I am not on my own but after this video I think I need some different makes of black , white & sticky ink to blend with, also to label what ink does what on each pot is use with markers, use with watercolour etc, after watching your craft room tour I have started to label my pots with their actual colour on dots, same with markers & I am waiting for my folders/ pockets to arrive to keep stamps/ paper etc together, neat & clean. I am learning so much off you, please keep it up x Thanks x

  23. My favorite inks are versafine black and for colors either Simon Says Stamp or My Favorite Things. I haven’t tried the distress oxide yet but hopefully Santa will bring me some!

  24. Thank you for explaining the advantages of Distress Oxide inks. I have been seeing them all over — now I want to try them out. I use Memento Tuxedo Black but I might try Hero Arts Onyx for my Copic coloring. I will defiantly try heat setting before coloring. Thank you!

  25. Great video Jennifer! Distress Oxide inks are definitely my favourite ink at the moment, but I’m also loving the great new colours of tsukineko delicata inks, especially at this time of the year!

  26. Love this video I didn’t try a Gina k although I have a gift voucher for her store.. I will get some of here inks soon .. I love distrss oxides they are so good.

  27. My overall favorite ink is Mento Black for Copic coloring, however I have fallen for the Oxide inks for their blending abilities!
