The new Pencil Caddy is 7.25″w x 3.75″h x 3.25″d, made from solid pine, non-toxic-painted white, has felt feet, and tilts forward slightly. Each piece holds 48 pencils. I now can easily see the color of my pencils and they will be less likely to break in a drawer, etc. I keep them on a shelf (since they look so pretty in rainbow order!) and easily bring them to my work surface when it is time to color.

    These are cool caddies! I LOVE colored pencils, I have since childhood. I remember learning this cool technique in the 4th grade a long, long, long time ago where you colored then used a tissue to smooth out the coloring. I thought it was awesome!

    I think that pencil caddy is an excellent idea! Not only does it store your color pencils nicely it’s also so very beautiful to look at!!! I haven’t personally used colored pencils in a while but my daughter has a whole bunch because she loves to color, although hers she just sticks into a Ziplock bag! Must look into getting one of these for her!

    What a beautiful way to store and enjoy colored pencils. I love using my pencils. I have both prisma color and Derwet Intense Watercolor pencil. Like them both, perhaps the watercolor pencils a bit more.

    I am just getting started with setting up my craft room. Right now I store my pencils in a glass jars. While that saves some space it isn’t very practical…I have to hunt for the color I want. My cat sometimes wants to see what’s going on and jumps on my table, knocking the jar of pencils over. My fear is broken glass all over my table and floor! The pencil caddies are perfect for organization and won’t break if knocked over by a cat’s tail (or small visiting grandsons!).

    I love using colored pencils. It reminds me of my childhood days when my parents were teaching me how to color. Brings back a lot of memories and also reminds me if the quality time my parents spent with me. I in turn gave back that philosophy to my own children ( 2 boys all of which are grown and lives away from home. ) We loved watching their eyes glitter with pride and joy when they see the finished product of what they colored using colored pencils! Thank you for giving me this time to reminisce and !made me forget how busy my career has been this week as a registered nurse working in a high stress department !

    Since I discovered gamsol, colored pencils are all I use. I get awesome blending using the gamsol. I would love a pencil caddy. That way I could have each color separated instead of inside a box.

    I currently only have watercolour pencils. However, I have been saving to get the primsa coloured pencil, so hopefully I will be able to get them soon.

    I love their product! I gave my daughter my wish list a couple of years ago and was happy to receive one of their ink pad holders, plus 2 of the marker caddies. LOVE the product. I would LOVE to win the pencil storage, too!! My collection is growing! Thanks Jennifer!

    I have tried Copics (not a fan) I have a good set of markers (again not a huge fan), but my colored pencils — LOVE LOVE them. My son gave me a smaller set of Prismacolors for Christmas and I am a HUGE, HUGE fan. I may treat myself to the full set you mentioned. This organization system looks like something I sure could use. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

    I have so many coloured pencils of various makes and it is such a nuisance having to take them out of their boxes each time, as I like them to be tidy and in colour tones while I use them so the idea of a desk colour tidy storage would be a great idea, and certainly one for me to try. It would be such a surprise if I were to win your generous give away. Thanks Jennifer for some really inspiring videos not only with obviously good design ideas but with really good tips.

    I have used colored pencils and I love them because they are the easiest to blend together, but they can get used up pretty quickly when I have to work on a big project.

    I use and love my colored pencils! I find it much easier to get the color blend I want for my projects. The little storage unit would be prefect for them as well as display them beautifully.

    I have the 148 set of Prismacolor pencils as well and I do love them! I have never found a good way to store them. This system looks awesome – I love the way you can see all the colors without having to dig for the one you want. LOVE IT!

    Pencils are one of those out-of-sight-out-of-mind things. When they are out we use them a lot. Then they get stuck in a drawer and forgotten about for a while. Hmmmm. . .. .

    I love my Prismacolor pencils. I took a class from Peggy Jo Ackley at Pink Inc. Inc. she is a great teacher and has some fun techniques, she taught me a lot about shading. I ‘d rather color with pencils now than markers.

    I go through stages. Most of the time I use them if I’ve seen someone else has made something really cool with colored pencils. I do like the storage idea. Mine are just in a pencil case leftover from my daughter’s grade school days.

    I do hear the angels singing!! 🙂 I probably use my Prismacolor pencils the most for my coloring….this might be because other than ink or watercolor it’s the medium that I own….Copics would be fun someday. However, I really do enjoy using colored pencils, so no worries. 🙂

    Love this tiered caddy! Reasonably priced too! Id love to have this caddy, as it would show off my color of pencils thqt i use on ly cards. To me using pencils to color and bend are sl easy. Im still a amature though! Lol
