  1. I am still learning and experimenting….I want to be good at Copic and Tombow markers, but for now I have to say watercolors….still working on my other skills!

  2. I love Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers … I like to watercolor with them.
I also love Distress Inks with blending backgrounds and water coloring. 🙂

  3. This year I’ve been playing with watercolors this year and I have a good collection of copic markers. I’m going to try using more colored pencils in 2017! I love how the colors looked on your dark blue card stock.

  4. I am loving playing with Distress Inks, and need to give some more love to my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens that I *had* to get last year. Wish I was better at watercoloring, but love the way that you have demonstrated using other mediums to achieve some cool background watercolor looks.

  5. I love brush pens and watercolor, they are both great for experimenting and trying out new color combinations. I haven’t tried the distress inks yet but I can’t wait to!

  6. I have the full collection of Promarkers and that was my favorite way to color… until I got the Zig Clean Color brush pens!!! Love them!

  7. Thank you so much for taking the time to create these videos. They are very enlightening. My favorite coloring method is Copics.

  8. Great video. I do like Copics.. I just bought the 60 zig markers and learning. I liked the tips you gave on the pencils. I do like pencils but don’t use them much because I didn’t get the results I was going for. The tips you gave will help.. Thanks

  9. My favorite coloring methods is with Tombow markers, but I just bought a set of Zig markers and am looking forward to learning how to use them for watercolor effects.

  10. This is a tough one! I love blending with distress inks, but love water coloring too. Hoping to get a set of Copic markers too to start playing around with those.

  11. I only have distress inks and markers so either color with them or watercolor with them. Definitely would love to try the Zip markers or the prisma color pencils!

  12. I love using the wink of Stella. Adding glitter is always a good idea to spruce up a card. Thanks for sharing

  13. I love color and all ways to add it to cards and projects. I just received my 60 pen set of Zig Clean Color Brushes and can’t wait to start using them.

  14. Copic markers are my favourite colouring product at the moment and I am just starting to play around with them but I can’t wait to use my distress inks to colour with! 🙂

  15. I like the Prismacolor pencils the best but in the past I did a lot of water coloring with just a kids set but I plan to try the distress inks and the zigs.

  16. I’m not good at coloring in. So I stick to coloring backgrounds – with distress inks. If I have to color something I’ll use ink refills and a water-tank brush. Wink of Stella does not count right? 😉

  17. I love coloring with my Prisma Color pencils. Trying the watercolor since I got the Kuretake Tambi and the Zig clean pens.

  18. My favorite colored pencils are the Derwent Inktense because I love that they go on so super vivid and yet smudge and blend seamlessly. I need to re try Prisma ‘s now that I see you having such fun !!!

  19. I seem to write a lot so I will try to keep this short but sweet. I have the Zig Clean Color Real Brush. Still trying to get used to them. I love the Prismacolor Colored Pencils. They have been my favorites for years and love the wink of stella. I love the glittery things but a lot of people don’t like the mess of glitter when they open their cards. Problem solved.

  20. I enjoy Copic coloring the most! Thank you for doing the videos on Favorite Things every year. I really learned so much by watching all your videos.

  21. I love the prismacolor color pencils. They are very smooth and you can color really dark and get full coverage or you can be light handed and be very light.

  22. THANK YOU for sharing with us Jennifer. It is wonderful to have the best of all your tutorials combined into features like this and I really appreciate the time and effort you put in to preparing them!!!
I was introduced to Copic markers earlier this year and it is an exciting adventure … I’ve had lots of hiccups along the way and learning from each and every one 🙂

  23. I need to practice more on all my coloring techniques. My favorite is probably Tombow markers for images but Distress ink for backgrounds.

  24. Unfortunately I’m not great at colouring anything. I think I’m too impatient. BUT I have been using my Copic markers more lately and have been satisfied with the results. NOTHING like what I see online but better than before. Thank you for showing the differences between the Spectrum Noir and Wink of Stella shimmer pens. I have always used Wink of Stella but now that I’ve seen the Spectrum Noir, I think I will give them a try!

  25. I love using Copics on microfine glitter!! Not good with using them when coloring stamped images, however, I do practice.

  26. Thank you for sharing your favorites with us. I use Disress Inks (love the mini size), the Zig Clean Color Brushes, and the Prismacolor pencils when I color my images or background. I really enjoy the versatility of the Distress inks and markers. Definitely want to get Bristol paper and Tombow markers after watching this video.

  27. I really love working with copic markers, but am planning to branch out and try prismacolored pencils during the holidays !

  28. It’s a toss up between copics and water colours. I don’t know that i can choose a favourite, i like them for such different images.

  29. I am new to watercolor painting, but have watched your videos and feel more comfortable in trying to blend colors better. I am sure the watercolor pencils I have may not be the best but I thought it would give me an idea if I would like this way, rather than the tins of water color paints. I have just purchased some watercolor paper and am excited to follow yor video.
    Thank you for great tutorials
    Sincerely
    Dorothy Andrews

  30. I’m in love with the Windsor Newton Pigment Markers right now but also enjoy all kinds of markers, pens, and pencils

  31. Thanks for the info! No matter how many years I watch these I still pick up tips. I like working with Copics. I didn’t really like them at first and I am not great at them but I do enjoy them.

  32. I love the vibrancy of markers and have just about all on ur list (no Zig Clean Color…yet) but am nowhere near expert or even mediocre with them but I don’t let that pesky little detail stop me. After all, if it’s not fun, why bother?
