    Hi, Jennifer.

I truly value your opinion about products. I just heard of these very interesting shading markers called Chameleon Pens and was hoping you could do a video about them. They look like an easier tool to use than Copics, but I’d like to know your opinion about the difference between the two. I’m already pretty heavily invested in Copic Sketch Markers, but these seem like they could offer something else. I’m not sure if you can blend them together or not, though. I’d be curious to know your thoughts.
    Thanks!

    Sherry

I love using my watercolor brush, dipping it in the lid of my ink pad and using the color to color “wash” my watercolor paper, fun stuff!

  7. Connie W says:

My favorite coloring method is with Distress Inks and using water color pencils.

  8. I recently made some cards using your finger-blended pigment ink technique and LOVED it! I enjoy the look of colored pencil, but I need to be in the right mood to be patient enough 😉 I also like using markers for their bold brightness!

  9. melissa b says:

I love to color and have most of the mediums (prismas, zigs, copics, wink of stella, gel pens). I am far from a master at any of them but I enjoy the process of coloring regardless 🙂

  10. MindyH says:

I like watercoloring (usually use my Distress Inks). I’m not that great at coloring so imperfect watercoloring is pretty forgiving and usually turns out great!

  11. Hanh says:

I’m still very new at this so I have not had the luxury of trying out all of the techniques. But I do love the few Copic markers that I have and my Clear Wink of Stella.

  12. Chris says:

Watercolor and colored pencils for me.

  13. Sharon M says:

    So much great information. Thanks

  14. Katrina H says:

I looked at your list of products before watching your video, and I was totally stumped at why you had a heating pad listed. I wondered if it was for your back if it hurts from sitting and coloring or if there was some cool technique with it. ? But I watched the video and now I get it! I haven’t had that problem with my colored pencils, but I will try it if I ever need it. My favorite coloring method is with copics, even if I don’t do a lot of blending. I just love the look with or without blending. I am getting to like zig real brush and water coloring a bit more too. Thanks for the chance to win!

  15. Anastasia says:

Copic markers are still my favourite and I’m still learning more about them! 🙂

I really love the clear Wink of Stella- that shimmer is great! I started with colored pencils then added Tombo, now am using Copics more, but I might have to dive in to the Zigs because those look easy to use. Too many choices!!

  30. Shelly Sweigart says:

My absolute favorite coloring method is using color pencils and Gamsol or water soluable pencils and water to get more of a watercolor look. I like the control those fine tipped pencils give and the fact that color can be erased if I goof!

My favorites are the Tim Holtz Distressed Inks. After watching your video, I will be sure to add a couple of your recommendations. Thanks for the video and the give-away!

After watching your 2015 fav’s, I got a set of 48 Zigs-I love them! I already had a set of Prisma which I continue to practice with. 44. Laurie says:

I usually put distress ink on a block & use a wet brush to color. Not real comfortable with water color – love to try more techniques. Thanks for the inspiration!

I love using copics , & distress inks when I want to water color!!
