  1. My favorite way to add a little bit of sparkle, has to be m my clear Wink of Stella pen! Thank you for sharing your favorite ways.

  2. Loved your work. The glitter is prominent yet not overpowering. Loved the effect 🙂 I like to add a few sequins here and there to add that little shimmer effect in my works 🙂

  3. Love all 3 cards you made and each one is a great way to add sparkle or shine. I have started using several of the ways you have shown how to add sparkle, I am using the deco foil, wink of stella since seeing you use them in video’s thanks

  4. You have some of the BEST ideas. I love all three cards, definitely will try the glitter tape idea, am super excited about the foiling tip, but I REALLY love the metallic thread to create the body and antennae on the butterflies! Except for pre-sparkled cardstock and embellishments, I haven’t really done anything yet with sparkle and shine, so I am most thankful for the great ideas that are still within the reach of beginners!

  5. I love all of your three cards, but the one with the foil is my favorite, I’ve been a bit intimidated by the foil technique but you made it look so easy that I will most definitely try it. I even purchased a roll of rainbow foil, so thank you so much for the encouragement and for the chance to win the issue of this awesome magazine.

  6. As always, great ideas and inspiration! Im going to go dig out my butterfly dies today and try this! Thanks for sharing.

  7. I love glitter. My crafty friends call me Glitter Girl because there is usually some on me somewhere.

  8. Enjoyed your video, as usual. I’m with the Wink of Stella people too, though I am now foiling too and love it.

  9. I mostly use glitter but am very interested in trying the foil. Thanks for sharing such an informative video.

  10. My favorite way to add glitter is the Wink of Stella pens! So quick and easy!! Thanks for the giveaway!!

  11. Right now it is my clear Wink of Stella marker. I also like spray that has sparkle in it. Love your video on tips and tricks to add different kinds of sparkle! Thank you!

  12. I love wink of stella too! So quick and easy. Although a little traditional glitter never hurts either…

  13. Beautiful cards, will love to watch the video ! Thanks for it and the giveaway too..I love using glitter paper n loose glitter to add sparkle on my cards !

  14. I am so glad that you continue to remind of use techniques, over and over. You know that we can’t all do something right away. I love the butterflies, one of my favorite embellishments. Thanks, once again.

  15. Hi Jennifer! My favorite way to use glitter is with a Wink of Stella pen. I like the soft shimmer it gives to my projects. Thank you for a chance to win!

  16. I fell in love with the Wink of Stella when I first saw it used and now nearly all my cards have some kind of sparkle. Before Wink of Stella, I think I was probably the Stickles queen. I also have some of the Elizabeth Crafts items to glitter up cards. I just tried the foiling (with the newly purchased laminator) and it is really impressive. One of the earliest cards I made I used Iridescent Peacock embossing powder on dark cardstock and found that very impressive as well. I guess I’ve always sparkle on my cards!

  17. I love to use wink of stella and have just started using foil, trying them out for my daughter’s wedding gift thank you notes!
    ~God bless~

  18. All your cards are absolutely stunning and so beautiful!!!
love to use my Wink of Stella for a little bit of sparkle and shine but when I want a lot of shine I like to use my Soowang Tape and my Silk Microfine Glitters from Elizabeth Craft Designs!!

  19. Thanks for these great ideas! I usually do heat embossing, but I am intrigued by these other techniques.

  20. I still go for stickles or glossy accents most often . I love the look of foil but often forget about it until I’m finished with the card!

  21. My favorite way to add glitter to cards is by die cutting glitter paper. Less messy. Thanks for showing the 3 cards and ways to add glitter.

  22. My favorite way to add sparkle is heat embossing. I’ve tried the foil but can’t get it to work right (it comes out splotchy), and I have tried glitter cardstock, but that won’t stay attached to the card unless I add extra adhesive. Guess I just need to keep trying 🙂

  23. I use my clear Wink of Stella pen A LOT (so quick and adds just the right touch of sparkle). Then there’s embossing powder which I love and Perfect Pearls is fun. Love the last butterfly card with the thanks die cut.

  24. I love glitter… and it’s actually become a saying around this house and my kids and hubby are never surprised to see glitter on my face. I love my wink of stella. I also love my sprays made with perfect pearls and I have fallen in love with my Minc machine and foil. All in all I have many loves and hardly any thing I won’t try! Hope all is well!

  25. Stickles seem to be my go to for adding sparkle and shine to my cards. I really want a Wink of Stella pen to try. I’ve seen you use it before. None of the stores here carry it so I’ll have to get one online. Thanks for the fun tips and techniques today. I will definitely be looking into some of these fun ideas. Have a wonderful week!

  26. I prefer to add sparkle and shine to my projects via pre sparkled paper. For the small details I try to use the stickles. last but not least mod podge with glitter. Thank you for the excellent video!

  27. I have started using sequins to add shimmer and shine to my projects. A change from embossing for me. Love your instructional videos and of course your Monday postings with SCT. Thanks for a chance to win the summer issue.

  28. I love your foiling technique and am going to try that out today. Mostly, I love to heat emboss. I just love the look it adds to a card.

  29. I use glitter glue, embossing powders (with the glitter in them) and my Sakura clear stardust pen. I’ve avoided glitter before because of the mess. I have the double-sided adhesive tape in 2 widths and may have to try it soon!

  30. My favorite way to add sparkle to my pages and cards is to use Dazzling Diamonds glitter from Stampin Up, and gold embossing powder.

  31. I am probably late to the game, but at Hobby Lobby recently I came across a paper pack of thee most beautiful and well done glitter paper that now I find myself cutting out Papertrey Ink’s Sparkle, Shine, Sprinkles, and Sprinkled dies in glitter paper! But I’m also a diehard heat embosser who loves her some embossing powders!!

  32. I really like to use a Wink of Stella marker or stickles on my projects. I like sparkle and shine but like the mess of glitter to be controlled. I haven’t tried foil yet….notice the yet!

  33. Lately for sparkle and shine I have been using my Wink a Stella pens and sequins.

After this post I’m going to have to pull out my glitter now and play.
Happy to see your feeling better.

  34. Great ideas and video. I don’t know what I would do without my clear Wink of Stella, but I also like embossing and sequins to add some sparkle to my cards.

  35. I love adding bling to cards. I usually do it with Versa Mark and glitter, but since I’ve never used foil I’d like to learn more about how to use that.
