Updates

Hello!

I – like many of you – have been sick. I am still catching up and have several videos that will be coming soon. Just wanted to share a few updates in the meantime.

Thanks for all your interest in the craft boxes I have for sale and for supporting the Kind Campaign. I will pick the “winners” soon. Just gotta get to feeling better so I can take all those heavy boxes to the post office. Stay tuned! I will email each of the “winners” – I promise.

Also, I have announced and mailed all the prizes for recent giveaways. (Remember – you can always check out the winners HERE, but I do email them so you would know if you won.) If you won and don’t get your prize, PLEASE email me!

SCRAPBOOK & CARDS TODAY

Back when I scrapbooked, I was a contributor to a scrapbook magazine and I loved it. I think magazines are an important part of our industry and have missed being able to be a part of the industry in this way. So I was thrilled when the kind folks at Scrapbook & Cards Today asked if I would be willing to contribute to their magazine… with a technique-based card article. Ummmmm… YES! I am all about the teaching/learning… not just trying to make pretty things. I am also excited to work with a few people I worked with years ago…

I will share more about the magazine in the near future.

I am off to have some honey to help this sore throat. Take care!

  1. I just subscribed to SCT magazine in December. Congrats on joining them over there. So far I’m enjoying the magazine (real live print!). The team announcement means I will be seeing lots of quality projects and information

  2. I am so glad that there is a scrapbooking magazine again. I will look into it. Also, Jennifer, some time ago you did a video where you made a card using a die. My take was that you could put something inside and then the recipient would pull the tab to open and receive their gift. Am I making sense? I cannot seem to find that die, but it is one that I would like to try. You may have just mentioned the die while making another card, I am not certain… Thank you, Kathy

  3. The flu is rampant, many people of all ages being hospitalized! Hope you feel better soon, and were you closer, I’d bring you some fresh lemons to mix with your honey–and some hot brandy! Glad to see a new magazine out there, so sad that so many have stopped publication.

  4. Congrats on your new magazine endeavor! They are so lucky to have you on their team. Glad there are still some magazines out there & not all digital issues. Hope you get better soon. Drink lots of hot Throat Coat tea with honey & eat your chicken soup!

  5. I’m surprised you didn’t say something about Hero Art’s succulent stamps since you’re such a fan of the species. Did you see their blogs or miss it with your cold? http://heroarts.com/blogs/club/2015/01/07/2015-spring-catalog-preview-4/

I think the I’m stuck on you one is quite cute. I’m looking forward to seeing you show off your technique skills to scrapbookers as well as card makers. Very exciting news.

  6. Congratulations on designing/teaching for SCT magazine. I know Catherine Tachdjian from when I had an online scrapbook supply store and had copies of Scrapbook & Cards Today for my customers. I often picked them up from Catherine’s house, we even met halfway sometimes–she is a doll. Looking forward to even more inspiration from you!

  7. Congratulations on your new endeavor. Sorry to hear you’re sick. There is so much of this too up here in Minnesota. Take care of yourself and family. Sending you a big hug to get better soon.

  8. I am a huge fan of SCT and was THRILLED when I saw the announcement about you being a contributor – a happy day! Warm congratulations, Jennifer 🙂
