Video: Favorite Adhesives + Giveaway

I am not a very picky person.

But there is one thing I am very picky about: Adhesives. 🙂

Since I use them more then anything, I want the best. I have tried a lot. A lot. And have narrowed it down to a certain few. I get asked about this a lot, so I decided to do a quick video to show them all in action.

Here are the adhesives I show in the video and like so much:

THIS American Crafts This To That Adhesive – permanent dots – make sure you get the right one. HERE are the refills.

THIS Tombow Stamp Runner. HERE are the refills.

THESE American Crafts Foam Dots, 1/8″ thick.

THESE EK Success 3D (foam) Dots, 1/16″ thick.

THIS Glossy Accents, in big (I recommend) or small bottles.

THIS Multi-Medium Matte.

I hope this helps you pick the best adhesive for you.

And how about a giveaway of ALL of these favorite adhesives? Just leave a comment here by Saturday night at 11:59pmEST telling me your favorite adhesives and I will pick a lucky winner of all 6 adhesives from my own stash. When I find something I love, I gotta share. 🙂

Have a fab day.

must look for Stamp Runner! =) LOVE glossy accents, too! love that it dries clear. i also love my pink ATG, it just seem to last longer since the rolls are bigger and inexpensive. thank you for the video and on the tip of how to prevent clogging for glossy accents. will have to try the multi-medium matte. thanks for the super video, Jennifer!

  11. I love Glossy Accents for the effect it gives. And Also American Crafts foam dots. I have been using both of these for a while. But most of all I really like Mod Podge as it serves two purposes: can be used as an adhesive too for sticking things and generally paper to chipboard albums and because it always turns transparent once dried; and it can be used to cover embellishments or make hand-made embellishments and it also gives a gloss to things.

  12. Dawn T says:

BLOG… you have a blog!!! I didn’t even think to look for a blog…. Ok, adhesives… I live in Australia and find it hard to get a lot of the good products but use a ton of double sided tape, my ATG gun and pop dots, usually whatever my lss sells. I havn’t tried glossy accents yet but use something called papier glass finish by Folkart it seems to do the trick.

  46. Carol Miller says:

  47. Trexxie says:

I am so in love with Glossy Accents – thankyou so much for introducing me to this fabulous product Jennifer! I not only use it for shine and adhering in my paper crafting, but have used it to make small repairs around the house – a wooden Christmas ornament needed a quick fix and a small fairy ornament belonging to my daughter needed a little more than TLC. It did the job perfectly! As for tape runners, I am still getting to know my Scotch ATG700 – I found that the small tape runners were running out very quickly and for me to get a good tape runner I need to plan ahead and have them shipped from the US to Australia. I like Helmar Scrapdots and for foam mounting I use X-press It from a tape roll which I can purchase locally – though at times I wish I could get one with a little less height. Thankyou for your suggestions – I may be persuaded to keep experimenting!

  48. Linda Tasset says:

I, too, struggle with adhesives so THANK YOU for this inspiring tutorial!

  49. Hannah says:

I use Glossy Accents a lot. I have even used it to firmly attach a hook to tile in my bathroom! I can’t seem to find a store that sells This to That. Guess I’ll have to buy it online. Thanks for the chance to win.

  50. elisa says:

i use glossy accents too. and for my rolling tape i have tombo moto adhesive i get from michaels. but i think i’ve just been converted becuz i can’t just rub it off if i want to move something!
