Video Links

While in classes last week, I promised I would link to my alcohol ink videos.  Thought I would pop in quick to do that.  I will be back more tomorrow with more things to share… going to work on the next Card Drive info tonight.  (By the way – Jana posted the almost-final list of cards we got HERE.  Prizes will be announced soon!)

These videos show fun things to do with alcohol inks.  There are SO many cool things they can be used for – these were just a few techniques I did for my 2peas class this summer, Thinking Inking.

This first two show the basics, including creating stripes…

This one shows use the alcohol inks on clear embellishments…

And this shows using them with embellishments, such as flowers, buttons and rub-ons.  (This is my fave.)

Anyone else have fun using alcohol inks?

See you tomorrow!

  2. Thanks for sharing the videos! I have taken a couple of technique classes showing the basics for alcohol inks and I felt limited as to what they can be used for. These videos have given me some great ideas to finally tap into my stash of inks!

  3. I love the vibrant colours you get with the alcohol inks but I haven’t got any yet. They’re on the list of things I’ll get if I ever win the lottery!! I really like the fact they dry on any surface.

I was very pleased with a card I made for DH using these inks.
He had a custom paint job on his car when we were dating. I
was able to copy the paint colors to look just like his car on
a card for him. Thanks for sharing.

BTW love the class you taught on using these inks.

  17. I had never really heard of alcohol inks until I found your blog a week or two ago! Now I’m hooked!! SO MUCH FUN! I’ve only used them on accents and stuff because I haven’t been able to find glossy paper at my scrapbook stores. I’m assuming perhaps just glossy photo paper would work??

  23. Hi Jennifer,

I love your videos! They are so inspiring! Have you ever tried putting the blending solution in the Ranger Mini Mister and spraying it on? I would be interested in seeing what happens. Keep up the inspiration!
