Hey there.

Just random stuff today. 🙂

Basic Grey has launched a new Gallery that is amazing. It is loaded with great stuff… and you can win by loading your creations. They are doing an "Upload Drive Giveaway" from October 1st to 15th. Every day they will pick one project they love and offer the designer a free BasicGrey Collection Pack, or $20 gift certificate for BasicGrey.com. Pretty sweet. Lots of Kelly Goree's projects are in there – she is a favorite of mine. I have started adding things there, too.

The new Distress Stickles are in stores! You can get all 12 new colors HERE for a great price…

My favorite? Pumice Stone. So cool.

My Holiday Thinking Inking class is underway. If you have questions, feel free to hop over HERE. Lots of great ideas from fellow artists there, too.

Moving on…

I am really enjoying THIS cloud die from My Favorite Things lately. It cuts great and is a great price…

I think that is it for today. See ya tomorrow.

  1. Did you add some cards to the Basic Grey gallery? I hope so as I love yours! I noticed when I first looked at it that there weren’t any and I was really hoping to get some ideas for cards using their papers. I emailed them and they said they would add categories as soon as they had enough samples to make it worthwhile.

  2. Ooh! I can’t wait to see the Basic Grey gallery. I bet they have some amazing inspiration over there. I was also excited to hear about your favorite cloud stamp. I had no idea there were other people out there making steal rule dies to work with the Cuttlebug and Big Shot. Very cool! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  3. Hi Jennifer! I was excited about the BG gallery too…went over and loaded two cards is all because they didn’t show up. I just received two emails from BG that my cards were declined. Both cards I submitted have been very well received on my blog and used BG papers. They are stamped and colored with copic markers. I am totally offended. Evidently they don’t accept stamped and colored cards. HOW crazy! Millions of stampers use BG paper and one of the cards had the paper ribbon on it too…Just thought you would want to know because I’m sure there are a lot of stampers reading this.

  4. the only thing I can think of is the two cards I posted used older papers… but if they are selling those papers digital, I would think it would be good. I’m thinking most stampers are like me and have tons of BG papers… old and new… and need ideas! Still the email they sent could have stated the exact reason instead of a bunch of “vague” excuses. I have a card to post tomorrow on my blog using Wander and I see a couple cards in the gallery using it, so hoping it is just the “older” collections, but please state that up front. I had no idea they were “qualifying” uploads!
    thanks for replying jennifer!
