Day 3 of the Trio Challenge
Welcome to Day 3 of my Trio Challenge with my girls Kathy and Lucy. Today we will all be using the Hero Arts Classic Holly stamp…
I decided to have some fun using Twinking H2Os and some VERY thick 300lb watercolor paper. I learned about this fun paper from Memory Box Dave. I LOVE it. It is like watercolor chipboard. So classy. I just stamped the holly with Versafine Black Ink and clear heat embossed. Then I painted in the image with Twinkling H2Os…
For the soft blue background, I used Twinks along with lots of water and really saturated the paper. Once dry, I distressed the edges and inked them a bit. And stamped over it with Pumice Stone Distress Ink and the Hero Arts Friend Definition.
So, I have for years struggled with getting a good black heat embossed image. I finally figured it out: Versafine Black Ink plus Clear Embossing Powder. Perfection. Detail and lovely…
Twinkling H2Os are amazing. I highly recommend trying them – so easy to get a great shine…
Next, be sure to head over to Kathy’s blog to see her delicious coloring and Lucy’s blog to see her goregous use of patterned paper with the same stamp.
