A fun little challenge…

I have been enjoying the last two days. After working endlessly on a big project for Hero Arts and for big classes at Stampaway, I took a few days to enjoy. Shari left yesterday (sad) and Carol decided to stay a few extra days (happy). Jana has joined us for some craft organization and such around here. And my in-laws also came into town today! Will be a great week. Colin is so happy.

But today I have something fun to share.

My sweet friend, Joy, and I decided to do a 7-day blog challenge. Each day we will share a card we both made with the same stamp. Joy is amazingly talented, so I look forward to this! You can see her work HERE.

We are kicking the challenge off by both using the Hero Arts Flowing Flowers and Leaves stamp.

Supplies: Hero Arts background; A Muse greeting; May Arts ribbon; Distress Inks; Perfect Pearls in water; Etsy flowers; Staz-On Ink.

To create the background, I just embossed with white powder on watercolor paper. I then rubbed on lots of Distress Ink and sprayed with a Perfect Pearl and water mix. (You can see a video on this technique HERE.) After letting dry, I added lots of embellishments and the Staz-On Ink stamped greeting.
