A cooking challenge
Hi!
It's day 2 of my fun little challenge with the amazingly-talented Joy Taylor. Today, we will both be using the Hero Arts What's Cooking set.
I kept it pretty simple by stamping the apron on Basic Grey paper and adding shading with Copics. I then went a little nuts and decided to braid string to make the apron strings. (Ha.) I used white string and then colored the braids with Copics to match the paper. Fun and easy… does it get any better?
Supplies: Hero Arts stamps (apron + greeting, definition, dots); Distress Inks; Tim Holtz edge distresser; Glossy Accents (on the hearts); Basic Grey paper; string; Copics.
Here is the set we used…
I also wanted to show THIS Basic Grey 6×6 pad that I like so much – the one I used for the apron. It is great for cards because the colors are soft and they are small scale prints. Perfect…

More tomorrow…
