Happy Momma’s Day… and a fun giveaway…

Hello!

I am wishing you all the best day ever.  Being a mom can be so stinkin' tough (and glorious!), so you/we all deserve a huge pat on the back.

And, a big special blessing to all you fellow step-moms out there.  Yes, Disney gives us a bad rep. (All step mothers seem to be evil in their stories.)  But I am so proud to be K and A's step-mom and wouldn't want it any other way.  It is so hard to explain, but the love I have for them is more powerful and amazing to me than the love I have for my "own" child.  Why?  Because it isn't a bond that was formed at birth, but rather a bond that was formed purely of out love.  A love that wasn't "automatic" due having given birth a child, but rather "chosen."  God had a hand in it, for this I am sure.  Love them…

And a huge hug to my mom.  Clearly the best mom in the world.  Every single day I try to be as good of as a mother as her.  That is all I want to be.

And my mother-in-law.  Mother-in-laws get a bad reputaion, too.  But mine proves it wrong so very much. I adore her and am so thankful she raised such an amazing son.  Great admiration here.

I have been loving all the cards I have seen out in the blog world using My Favorite Things stamps.  I just had to get my hands on them!  I decided to use them for some Mom's Day cards.  This one is from Colin to my mom. The clouds?  I used a My Favorite Things die for that – so easy.  (Cuttlebug with the A, B and C plates.)  Colin, of course, added the "I love you" message…
