Happy Valentine’s Day

Hope it is a good one for you all.  We are celebrating Ken's birthday today, too (it is later this week) and so it is a fun day all around.  It is especially on days like this that I feel extremely blessed to have such a fabulous husband.  I am so thankful.  So very thankful.

And I just have a quick question.  If you are a fan on my videos, could you leave a comment on this post letting me know?  I have a question I want to ask of some of you.  Thanks!

(ETA: Thanks – I didn't expect so many comments!  You all are too kind.  I have emailed a few of you – just needed a handful of people – thanks!)

Off to hug my family… 🙂

  1. Jennifer, your videos are excellent! I have learned about new techniques and new products since I discovered your blog.
Thank you so much. There are few other opportunities for me to learn new techniques except by trial and error, so I really appreciate your great work!
    Thanks.

  2. Happy Valentines Day~ 🙂
I love your videos. I re-watch them again and again. They are so full of talent and techniques. 🙂 Thank you for sharing~

  3. I LOVE your videos!!! I’ve watched almost every one – I find your instructions to be very clear and I really appreciate that because I’m new to stamping and can completely understand the technique you are teaching and can try it myself with great results. Also, your projects are such an inspiration – you make me want to try new techniques and stamp away. I’m also a big fan of hero arts stamps and Tim Holtz distress ink (I have accumulated quite a stash 🙂 – and these are two products you use also! Thank you for all of your hard work at putting these great videos together for us!!! Dolly 🙂

  4. You are my favorite video instructor! It is a great treat to log on and find that you are teaching some new technique or clarifying some tips and tricks with a particular product.

  5. I’m a big fan. I have a full time job but start almost every day by checking your blog and the hero arts blog. You are a great paper artists. I’ve learned so much from you.

I was intrigued by the Copic Marker video. I tried them at Archiver’s and was hoping I’d learn more from you. I’m going to stick with my Tombow Markers and Dove Blender – seem to work the same and cheaper.

    You inspire me!

  6. Jennifer,
I am a huge fan of your videos! I love all of the techniques that you teach. It really helps me choose new products and know that I will have hundreds of ways to use them. It also helps me make gifts for people and make them feel super special that I would make something handmade for them. I’m a local gal that lives between Cincinnati and Dayton in Springboro, so I’ve gottent to also take classes from you at Stamp Your Art Out and Simply Scrapbooks. I am triple blessed that I can watch your videos (what an awesome resource) and take your classes in two locales!

You are such a blessing! Thank you for everything you do!

  7. Love your videos!! I get so excited to see that you have posted another. I have learnt many techniques from your videos, and I agree with previous posters – your voice is well-suited to videos. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow. Thank you!

  8. Another huge Fan of your videos here, but it looks like you have a few. LOL! Happy Valentine’s Day to you and your family! 🙂

  9. Happy Birthday to Ken!

and I love your videos Jen. I usually come back to refer to them over and over. You do a great job. I especially like that you do the voice over – it’s always clear and precise, with clarifications if necessary. Your videos are the best I’ve seen.

  10. Jennifer,
I love your videos, they are always informative.
After a spine injury, and living in rural
Australia I don’t get the chance to
attend any classes etc. So getting the chance to see different methods, styles or just some ideas on storage is wonderful.

  11. I am! I love your videos, they’re the ones that got me hooked to stamping, Hero Arts and trying new techniques (also Ranger tools/supplies)!
Thanks so much, I’ve learned a lot from them!

  12. Not only do I LOVE your videos it helps me sooooo much. I am a small store owner and your video’s have given me the confidance to bring in Hero Arts stamps and the ranger ink’s products. Without your video’s I would not be able to teach the classes that have improved my bussiness and excited my customers. I’m always telling them that they can just go to your website and learn all of it on their own but they still ask that I hold the classes. I do an inking class and in the description I tell them it’s based on the series by Jennifer McGuire. I think the ladies like having a place to come together to experiment with your techinques. Your videos are really an asset to me as an individual and as a store owner. I pray you will continue. And again Thank You!

  13. Found you through Two Peas and glad I did. I enjoy your presentation style…like how you do the project and then the voice over.

  14. I so enjoy your videos. Your voice is very clear and your instructions are precise. Thank you for all the videos you have produced so far. Looking forward to viewing more.
    Ter 😉

  15. Are you kidding?? I’m a HUGE fan of your videos!! Keep ’em coming because I always learn something new and get inspiration!

  16. Hi Jennifer,

Im not sure my first post went through, I cant’ find it so I’m posting again.

Not only do I LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos, they have helped me both personally and professionally. I own a small scrapbook store and through watching your video’s it has challenged me to be a better teacher, they have given me the confidance to return to stamping (it’s where I began my journey) and bring stamps into my store, (we participated in the Hero Premier party in Dec for the first time). I have also brought in more ranger products than ever before.

I teach an inking class and in my class description it say’s “based on the video series “Thinking Inking” by Jennifer McGuire”. I keept telling my customers to watch your videos to learn just like I had but they keept asking for a class. What I learned was that they watched the video’s but they also liked being able to come together and experiment and to see what everyone else was doing. In the class we simply “play” with ink, stamps and embossing. Everyone get’s a stack of tags to play on and we write our recipies on the backs and clip them together. It has been amazing to see what they do and to learn from each other.

So yes your video’s unlike any others are so helpful. They are clear, easy to follow and always so creative.

Thank you for your willingness to share your talent with us! I hope you will continue.
    Sincerely,
    Karen R.

  23. Hi Jennifer,
I love Your videos so much, there just great.
    You inspire me so much.
I’m scrapping for just about 8 months and I sometimes find it hard to think of something new.
Often it doesn’t come out the way I would want it to be, but I learn a lot from Your techniques.
Please keep on going with them.

    Greatings from Holland,
    Natasja Stam.

    Hugs!

  31. Your blog is one that I read nearly every day – hoping for some new inspiration. I’m so impressed by your caring toward others and the way you are so willing to share your talent. I am always excited when you post a new video; you have a knack for clear, concise instructions, making me eager to try new techniques. (you make it look so easy!) Your cards are always so beautiful – not too “fussy” but stylishly interesting. Keep up the good work!

  32. your vidoes are AMAZING. I started paper crafting a yr ago and I started with your videos I found on you tube. Your instructions are so clear and helped me learn so many wonderful techniques. The only bad part is I want all the products you use because you make it look so fun and easy. Please keep making videos. They have really helped and I enjoy them sooo much. thanks for all your hard work.

  33. Dear Jennifer

I absolutely LOVE your videos! I have watched everyone and you explain things so clearly. I have tried most of the techniques you show us and am always very happy with the results. I rely on you to keep up to date with all the latest products. Being here in the UK means I don’t get the opportunity to attend dems and workshops so your videos are an ESSENTIAL link! Many thanks

  34. I’m a big fan of your videos, Jennifer…wonderful tutorials. Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks and I hope you keep ’em coming!

  35. I’m not sure if you will even catch this one, but I have just spent the past 2 or 3 hours watching your videos on YouTube. I gain so much information and confidence from them. I am such a perfectionist that it most of the time holds me back from doing the things that I want to do and therefore waste ALOT of time NOT doing the creative things I want to.
I truly think that procrastination kills alot of creativity. I procrastinate because I am worried that it will not turn out JUST RIGHT.

  36. Hi Jennifer,
The inspiration I get from watching your videos gives me the courage or the push to create cards and ATC’s which I share with family and friends. It would be hard to say which are my favourite because I love all of them and learn from them. The series on distress and alcohol inks are great, especially the way you incorporate other techniques. Thank you for sharing your talents and expertise with us. Cheers, C.

  37. your video’s are really, really terrific! I am fairly new to cardmaking and only two years into scrapbooking and your video’s are the “go to” place for me…I have actually become an enormous fan of Hero Arts stamps and products based on your “walk throughs…” keep them coming!

  38. Count me as a fan. I look forward to your videos. You have a nice way of breaking the techniques into steps, and the end results are always breathtaking!

  39. Jennifer- I love your videos, you give me GREAT inspiration! I have your blog post going in a SPECIAL folder in my inbox, and I get SUPER excited when i see there is an email waiting for me…..sometimes I beat the email and just go straight to your blog EVERYDAY!!!!!! I have yet to miss a day…EXCEPT for when I moved…I had a lot of catching up to do 🙂
