More on Cards for Kate & Eric… and some cards from long ago…

Happy Friday.  Love those words.

I have had a few questions about the Cards for Kate vs. Cards for Eric.  They are really one and the same.  The same guidelines apply.  The same prizes apply.  The same shipping address applies.  The same deadline applies.  (Try to get them here by October 31.  No worries – if I announce that I am about to draw prizes and you know yours are on the way, I will include your name still!)  It is just that we got SO many cards for Kate and I know people wanted to make more.  So, you can now send them for Kate and/or Eric.  If you have already sent some for Kate and want to now make some for Eric, that is great, too!  Please let me know if you have other questions. 🙂

More prizes were added by the way.  We have about 90 prizes, and there will be more soon.  Wow.

Well, I am clearing off old files from my computer and ran into these old cards from classes I did back in March.  I may have shared them here (this was before I kept track), so forgive me if I did.  I am not going to link all the supplies on these (all are Hero Arts, pretty much), but please feel free to leave a comment if you have questions on what something is.

I always have loved window cards.  Hallmark doesn't make those. 😉

Who wouldn't love a handmade bag filled with yummy chocolate chip cookies?  I cut out the center of the heart so that you could get a peek at the cookies inside.

This one doesn't open normally either.  A little tag pulls out of the side with a message.  I positioned foam adhesive squares between the white and purple background to create a pocket for the tag.

This last one is a card made from fabric.  I just adhere two pieces of white cardstock on the inside for stability and for writing the message.

Thanks for stopping by.  I am off to edit some more old photos…

  1. Love those cards. I wish our city had more crafty people. I live in Miami and not many latins are crafty. Only one scrap store left open by me, all others have had to close the doors for good. Only Joanns and Michaels left. Bummer. Thanks for sharing your imcredible talent.

I remember making these cards in your class. I love sitting at the table and opening the kit and then getting the copy to work off of. Sometimes I am so tickled I can not contain myself. Your class brings a spot of joy each time I take them. Bless you for teaching. I know it is hard work making the cards, ordering product, kiting, packing, unpacking and then packing again and clean up. You are a wonderful person I am blessind to know and learn from.

Many thanks for your time and talent.

  6. Wonderful cards, Jennifer! I especially liked the fabric one. I also liked how you put the dots around the purple flower. Just adds that little classy touch. Hope all is well with you. Fighting another sinus infection! I’m ready for a nose transplant! Just kidding! Enjoy the rest of the week-end!

  10. Love all you post! I keep learning something new each time. Can you tell me what stamp set the chocolate chip cookie was done with? My daughter’s Girl Scout troop is having a bake sale for Relay For Life next month and this would be great to make. I might make them for teacher appreciation lunch too.
